Soon, the two entered through the wooden door.
Clearly, this was the entrance to a teleportation passage.
Billy didn’t know how long it took, but they arrived in a different world.
Blue skies, white clouds, towering mountains, flowing rivers, birds and beasts, flowers in bloom-a picturesque paradise.
Not far from them was a modest village with rough wooden houses, smoke rising from chimneys, and villagers walking along the paths.
Additionally, the concentration of spiritual energy here was at least two to three times higher than outside!
“Sir, this is my hometown!” Greta said to Billy.
“Your hometown?” Billy was slightly taken aback.
“Yes!” Greta smiled and asked, “Surprised?”
“A bit!” Billy responded.
“Come on, let me take you to my house first!” Greta said as she walked towards the village entrance, with Billy following her.
“Miss, you’re back!” A villager greeted them at the village entrance, curiously eyeing Billy.
“Hello Kameron, let me introduce you. This is Mr. Billy!” Greta said, pointing to Billy.
“Mr. Billy, nice to meet you!” Kameron Bond bowed in greeting.
“Hello!” Billy replied with a slight smile.
As he spoke, he was secretly astonished that he couldn’t detect any martial aura from Kameron!
If Kameron wasn’t deliberately hiding it, then it was quite extraordinary.
Given Billy’s current cultivation level, not being able to detect Kameron’s meant he was at least at the Controlled Kun Realm.
But the problem was, Kameron seemed like an ordinary villager!
Soon, Billy found the answer to his question.
As they walked through the village, they encountered eight or nine villagers.
Among them, four were at the Supreme Source Realm, three were at the mid-stage Condensed Kun Realm, and the remaining two had no detectable martial aura-clearly Controlled Kun Realm!
What kind of place was this? It was terrifying!
In the eighth-tier star domain, even top-tier forces might only have one or two False Controlled Kun Realm cultivators.
Yet this small village had several Controlled Kun Realm experts! Unbelievable!
“Sir, this is my home. Let me show you around…” Greta said as they reached a courtyard at the edge of the village.
But before she could finish, she frowned slightly.
The next moment, an incredibly terrifying aura enveloped the entire space, making even Billy feel suffocated.
Soon, five people descended from the sky, led by a man who appeared to be in his thirties or forties.
Unsurprisingly, Billy couldn’t detect his cultivation level either. Among his four companions, Billy could only sense mid-stage Condensed Kun Realm auras from two of them.
In other words, there were three more Controlled Kun Realm experts!
“Curtis Wade, what are you doing here?” Greta frowned at the leading man.
“I’m here to visit you, Miss!” Curtis Wade smiled. “You’ve been away for so long. Now that you’re back, of course I had to come see you!”
As he spoke, his eyes swept over Billy without much expression.
“Now that you’ve seen me, you can leave!” Greta waved her hand dismissively.
“Miss, you haven’t forgotten our agreement, have you?” Curtis Wade continued. “There’s still one month left. If you can’t regain your freedom by then…”
“Time’s not up yet. Why are you in such a hurry?” Greta interrupted coldly.
“Heh, do you really think you can regain your freedom in a month?” Curtis Wade chuckled.
“You know it’s unrealistic. After all these years without any solution, what difference will another month make? You might as well…”
“Can you leave now?” Greta interrupted again. “Time’s not up yet. Stop babbling here; I don’t have time for you!”
She then turned to Billy and said, “Sir, let’s go home!”
“Miss, who is this?” Curtis Wade asked.
“Is it any of your business?” Greta replied curtly and led Billy into the courtyard without looking back.
As he was watching them leave, a cold glint flashed in Curtis Wade’s eyes.
“Young Master, why bother? Just take her by force. After all…” one of his men suggested.
“Are you teaching me how to do things?” Curtis Wade said coldly.
“No! I dare not!” The man trembled and quickly bowed. “I was wrong. Please punish me!”
Curtis Wade’s eyes narrowed slightly. With a flash of cold light, the man’s arms flew into the air, blood spraying everywhere.
“This is a warning. Next time, you won’t live!” Curtis Wade said.
“I understand!” The man replied pale-faced. “Thank you for sparing my life!”
“Elder Esteban, keep an eye on that guy. If possible, find out his intentions,” Curtis Wade instructed an elder behind him.
“Understood!” The elder nodded.
Then they all flew away.
Meanwhile, Billy and Greta sat down on stone stools in the courtyard.
“Sir, thank you for trusting me and coming all this way.”
Greta looked at Billy and said, “You can ask any questions now. I’ll tell you everything.”
“Ready to talk now?” Billy smiled faintly. “First, tell me about this place.”
“We are from the Azure Clan,” Greta replied.
“Azure Clan? What’s that?” Billy was puzzled.
“The Azure Clan is an ancient force in the eighth-tier star domain that existed alongside the Savage Demon Realm,” Greta explained.
“A thousand years ago, internal strife and external threats nearly wiped out the Azure Clan.”
“My grandfather and father, along with several elders, used all their power to create this space before they died to preserve a spark of our clan.”
“I see,” Billy nodded. “How many people are left in the Azure Clan?”
“I’m not sure of the exact number-probably around ten thousand,” Greta said.
“All within this space?” Billy asked.
“Yes,” Greta nodded.
“With your current strength, even if you can’t dominate the eighth-tier star domain, you could easily crush those so-called top forces. Why don’t you go out?” Billy asked again.
“For two reasons,” Greta replied.
“First, my grandfather and father worried that our people wouldn’t stay here willingly. So they set up a high-level formation that no one can break without knowing how.”
“Then how did you get out?” Billy asked.
“It’s simple. I know how to break the formation! I’m the only one here who does,” Greta said.
“And second, we have powerful enemies outside. If we go out recklessly, we might be exterminated!”
“Besides, you’ve underestimated the eighth-tier star domain. Those so-called top forces are nothing here!”
“Alright,” Billy replied and then asked, “Why did you seek me out?”
“I need your help!” Greta answered straightforwardly.
“My body and soul were severely injured. What you see now isn’t really me.”
“This body belongs to a clanswoman who has passed away. I’m borrowing it.”
“You want Nine Dragons Cauldron to help you recover?” Billy inferred her intention.
“To be honest, yes,” Greta nodded.
“So you lied about someone here being able to comprehend Heaven Book?” Billy asked.
