Billy’s eyes flashed with surprise as he watched the scene before him. Although he had heard from White Feather and Purple Spirit that Greta was formidable, he hadn’t expected her to be this strong, effortlessly killing Elder Luciano with a single move. This piqued his curiosity about Greta’s identity.
“Elder Luciano!” Quincy Larsen and Channing Larsen cried out in unison. For the Borderless Nation, losing a ninth-rank Condensed Kun Realm expert was a devastating blow.
“I’ll kill you!” Quincy Larsen raised his hand to strike Greta.
“You’re no match for her, don’t push your luck!” The man in the black robe stopped him.
“Mr. Shaw, please help us!” Quincy Larsen took a deep breath and spoke, knowing that he would only be courting death if he attacked.
“Do you want to try?” Greta looked at the man in the black robe.
“We will meet again. You better hope someone can protect you next time!” The man in the black robe frowned slightly and looked at Billy. Clearly, he wasn’t confident in defeating Greta.
He then turned to the people of the Borderless Nation and said, “Let’s go!”
“Mr. Shaw…” Quincy Larsen began.
“Didn’t you understand me?” The man in the black robe interrupted. “If you want to die, go ahead!”
With that, he flew away.
“Uncle, what should we do?” Channing Larsen asked Quincy Larsen.
“Let’s go!” Quincy Larsen took a deep breath and responded. He glared at Billy before following the man in the black robe, with Channing Larsen and the others trailing behind. They knew they were no match for Greta and attacking would be futile.
“May I ask your name?” Piper Avila asked Greta with a bow after everyone had left. She clearly didn’t believe Greta was only fifteen or sixteen years old; no matter how talented, it was impossible to have such skills at that age.
“You must be from the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion,” Greta said in an old-fashioned tone. “The eighth-tier star domain is about to descend into chaos. Your pavilion is vast and powerful; you should prepare in advance, or you won’t be able to protect anything when the time comes.”
“Thank you for the warning!” Piper Avila bowed again. “Madam, do you know who that person was? Can you tell us about him?”
“Have you heard of the Savage Demon Realm?” Greta asked.
“What?” Piper Avila and Reyna’s pupils contracted upon hearing those words.
“Madam, are you talking about the Savage Demon Realm that disappeared from the eighth-tier star domain ten thousand years ago?” Piper Avila asked after a pause. “Weren’t they supposed to be extinct? Are they still around?”
“You have some knowledge; at least you know they existed,” Greta replied. “Not only are they still around, but many other forces you thought were extinct are also still here.”
Piper Avila and Reyna exchanged glances and took a deep breath. Even though the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion had gathered much intelligence on the eighth-tier star domain, Greta’s words still shocked them. The mere presence of the Savage Demon Realm was enough to cause concern.
It was said that ten thousand years ago, the Savage Demon Realm was more powerful than any top-tier force. Most importantly, they were known for their ruthless methods, often described as inhumane and brutal. They had harmed millions of people with extreme cruelty. If the Savage Demon Realm were to return, it would be a disaster for the eighth-tier star domain.
“Heaven’s Scourge is upon us; if they don’t emerge now, they will truly be extinct,” Greta added while staring into the void.
“I understand,” Piper Avila nodded thoughtfully.
“Alright, you should leave now,” Greta said, reverting to a girlish tone. “Billy and I have things to do. See you next time!”
“Okay!” Piper Avila smiled at Billy. “Mr. Billy, if you have time, please visit us at the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion in Endless City.”
“I will!” Billy smiled back. “Thank you for your help earlier!”
“No need to thank us; we didn’t do much,” Piper Avila replied with a faint smile.
Billy and Greta then flew away.
“Miss, do you think what she said is credible?” Reyna asked as they watched them leave. “Could the Savage Demon Realm really still exist?”
“It’s better to believe it than not,” Piper Avila replied thoughtfully.
“If the Savage Demon Realm returns, the eighth-tier star domain will face great turmoil,” Reyna said with a serious expression.
“It might not just be about the Savage Demon Realm,” Piper Avila replied. “From what she said, many forces that disappeared thousands of years ago might reappear.”
“I wonder who she really is,” Reyna continued. “Miss, have you heard the sect master mention Heaven’s Scourge? What is it?”
“I asked my father, but he didn’t say much, only telling me not to worry about it for now,” Piper Avila shook her head. “He implied that even if I worried, I couldn’t solve anything.”
“I understand,” Reyna nodded again.
“Let’s go. My father should be out of seclusion soon. We need to discuss the next steps for the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion,” Piper Avila said before flying away with Reyna.
Meanwhile, Billy and Greta flew towards a teleportation portal on the outskirts of the city.
“Sir, don’t you have any questions for me?” Greta asked Billy.
“What should I ask?” Billy replied.
“Aren’t you curious why that old man from the Savage Demon Realm didn’t dare to attack me?” Greta asked.
“I’m curious,” Billy smiled faintly. “But if I ask, will you tell me?”
“Hehe, maybe I will!” Greta stuck out her tongue.
“I’ll wait until you’re ready to tell me. I’m not in a hurry,” Billy shrugged.
“Aren’t you afraid I’m deceiving you?” Greta continued.
“Haven’t you been deceiving me all along?” Billy smiled again.
“Alright then!” Greta pouted. “Sir, you’re no fun to talk to!”
Twenty days later, they arrived at an unknown star domain. During their journey, Billy continued his training and reached the ninth-rank Supreme Source Realm in just over half a month.
“Sir, we’re here; it’s just ahead!” Greta pointed forward.
Billy looked ahead but saw nothing but endless star domains.
“Come on, I’ll take you inside!” Greta said before leading Billy forward.
After walking for about fifteen minutes, Greta formed a mysterious seal with her hand and sent it out. The next moment, an ordinary wooden door appeared before them amidst the emptiness…
