Luna Mavana instructed the guards to transport Lorienta and Daisy to the dungeon.
“Move.” The guards led them into the dungeon.
Mavana’s injury was not healing; she needed to go out and get tested but from the looks of it. It would be difficult for her to escape from the crowds.
They were overjoyed and began singing and celebrating their victory. The elders stood there, trying to figure out what was going on.
“She came out victorious.” The relation elder whispered to the others.
“I am just as surprised as you are. She should not be underestimated, after all.” The civil elder replied quietly, his gaze remaining fixed on the jubilant crowds.
Luna Mavana noticed the elders’ expressions of disbelief. She smiled at them while attempting to approach them.
They were uncomfortable with her arrival, but they could not turn her away. They simply need to maintain their composure.
She arrived at their position and placed her sword in its proper place.
“You are not going to say congratulations?” She let out a smirk.
“The only thing I can think of right now is…” The relation elder paused, searching for the appropriate word to use.
“Nothing.” He continued with a blank expression on his face.
Luna Mavana expected them to be silent, so she did not find this offensive at all.
They did not fall short of expectations.
“Thank you, great hero, for defeating our adversaries.” The civil elder gave a commendation.
They feigned a smile.
It was harder for Luna Mavana to tell them that what they were doing was wrong. As long as it does not involve her getting into a fight or doing anything stressful, she simply lets them do whatever they want.
Smirking, Mavana walked away from the elders to tend to the wound, which was becoming worse.
She turned and moved in the direction of the pack house, vanishing into the doorway.
“Where had she disappeared to?” The relation elder looked for her.
They were sensitive to her movements. They were confident that she could do anything after she had killed the strongest people and taken their leader captive.
“Phew. Finally. I have to get this thing cleaned.” She sighed as she entered the room without closing the door.
She took out the small kit and poured some methylated spirit into the wound. She refrained from shouting, only letting out small groans.
“Ouch!” she said bitterly.
She was now feeling the pain of everything. She worked hard to keep her emotions under control so she did not yell here.
She repeated the process, properly dressing the wound before tearing a bandage to wrap it and holding it with a plaster. Just as she was about to cover the first aid kit, something passed her by. She could see the shadow that had just passed her.
“What was that?” She quietly inquired.
She dropped what she was holding and followed the figure silently. She could not keep up with the person’s pace, so she followed the shadow.
She went to several locations but was unable to locate the person in question. She eventually stopped following it. She believed it was some guards who were looking for bandits
“I do not know who that is?” She scoffed.
She let that go without thinking about it and tried to get back to what she was doing.
“Wait, I am not far from the dungeon; perhaps I should pay Lorienta a visit.” She smirked as she walked to the location.
She entered the dungeon and watched Daisy and Lorienta try to escape.
“Welcome to the Silverado Pack.” Her hands were tucked into pockets.
They slowly turned towards the voice and noticed Mavana standing there. Luna Lorienta was so upset that she walked to the door and released her hot breath on her.
“Let me out of here!” She commanded.
“You are in my hands now; you can not tell me what to do with you, okay?” She replied.
Daisy sat there, attempting to figure out how to leave the place.
“There is no point pretending to be serious; there is only one way out, and you can only leave through me.” She announced it.
“Do you think you have won? Just because you happened to run into us?” Daisy eventually spoke up.
“What happened with my father?” Luna Mavana ignored Daisy and went after Lorienta.
Daisy simply became involved in the case because Luna Lorienta was her primary target.
Luna Lorienta took a step backward and laughed, confusing everyone with her actions.
“If you brought me here for vengeance, do it.” She spread her arms widely.
Luna Mavana was disgusted by the behavior she had just displayed.
“You will pay. But right now, I need you to speak.” Mavana’s lips twitched.
“I killed your father, and now I am killing you.” Without regret, she raised her voice.
Luna Mavana exerted all of her strength to avoid becoming irritated and hurting her in any way.
“I was always aware that my father was not killed in combat. You just made up the story so I could live my entire life as a lie.” A surge of anger ripped through her.
Daisy simply listened to these things while remaining silent. Her mind was at a loss for words.
“What precisely do you accomplish after committing all these horrible acts of yours? You are a murderer.” Luna Mavana made a fist out of her hands.
“You want to hit me with that, come on?” Lorienta smiled, a wink that might cause Mavana to kill her.
“You know, I will break your nose and make sure you can not breathe with it if you come out here to get justified.” Luna Mavana gave a threat.
As long as Luna Lorienta was in the dungeon, all of these threats were unfounded.
“What about your mom?” Luna Mavana inquired.
“Will you please stop asking me about my family members?” She scowled and sat down again in a corner.
“Can not you respond?” Curiosity prompted Daisy to shout. She was very interested in learning more about Lorienta’s personality.
“What on earth are you interested in knowing?” Luna Lorienta looked at her sternly.
“I want to know.” In response, Mavana said.
“We all know she is dead, and I killed her.” She admitted it.
Daisy felt guilty about being with a murderer.
“Until today, I had no idea how foolish you were.” Luna Mavana gave a frustrated shrug.
The thought of hearing from her again was unbearable.
“I am positive that you are in the dungeon with a partner this time to kill and be content. You are genuinely cursed.” Mavana gnashed her teeth.
Daisy was not sure if she was angry at Lorienta for killing so many people.
“What do you mean? You killed her?” Daisy’s jaw fell.
She maintained some distance from her.
“You would be better off focusing on your business.” Lorienta cautioned.
Daisy was not afraid of her; she was just angry at her for killing so much.
“You still have the guts to speak to me. I could smash your nose.” Daisy responded angrily.
Luna Mavana saw no point in talking to them anymore. They were bantering words, and she would prefer to remain silent at this time.
She shook her head with disappointment and exited the dungeon. Now she was saddened to confirm that what beta Drake said was true, and Lorienta felt no remorse for it.
“You are in my territory now; let us see how you end.” She muttered as she walked away.
