GET OUTTA MY FACE.

Book:His Darkened Obsession Published:2024-11-27

“She took care of Ash all by herself for years. The least you could do is stop this wedding, Storm.”
“Get outta my face.” His look darkened and his enormous eyes widened as he instructed me again. ‘Didn’t you hear me? I said get outta my face.’
Took a few steps back. “Fuck you.” I clenched my fists. “I hate you so much.”
“Be My guest.”
“I can’t believe you are Violet’s cousin. You don’t care about anybody. You just think about yourself. These people have been suffering, and you did nothing about it. She is getting married to the person she doesn’t love and none of you care about her happiness. You guys are so proud to announce that her wedding is tomorrow, but you are not doing anything about it. What are you guys used for if you can’t save anyone? Why are all of you alphas, anyway?!”
“Then, go rescue her from the wedding. Instead of standing here and blabbering all day. Why don’t you go make yourself useful? At least, that would be nice.”
“Why you-”
“Don’t pour your saliva on my face.” He added with a snicker.
“Willow.” Anderson came over to me and held me back from attacking Storm. “That’s enough! We rescued Ash, and that’s all that matters.”
I sat down in my chair, looking so sad when I saw Violet walking side by side with James as they both walked to the altar.
The jerk was all smiles, and that pissed me off.
“Do you accept Violet Stormclaw as your lawful wedded wife?”
“I do.” He replied to the old priest, standing between them in his white garment.
“Do you, Violet Stormclaw, accept James Stormfall as your lawful wedded husband?”
Violet mumbled a little before nodding her head with a wide grin on her face. “Yes, I do.”
Everyone clapped happily and celebrated the wedding vows between James and Violet.
I wasn’t happy. This wasn’t how I pictured Violet’s wedding to be. This was insane.
As soon as the wedding was over. I got up to go talk to Violet and see what we have to do about Ash. And why didn’t she tell me when the wedding date got pushed back and refused to pick up my calls when I called her?
She’s got some explaining to do.
“I studied hard. I took the test.”
My heart skipped.
“I got high marks. I passed my grades. And forgot what I learned.” I turned to whoever was talking through the mic and loudly gasped with my eyes open.
“Roses are red. Violets are blue. Roses are dead. Violets are dying.” He scoffed. “But the truth be told, roses are not always red. Violets will never be blue.”
I was in utter disbelief.
He smiled and slowly climbed down the staircase and everyone’s murmurs began. I looked over at Violet, whose jaw dropped.
I was among the crowds and saw him coming down the staircase in slow motion, holding the mic to his lips.
“People should learn loyalty from dogs, not only from their positions.”
His voice.
“It seems to me the Silvermist Pack has lost its merit. How pathetic!”
He took a step down, standing high above everyone with a devious smile on his face as he looked at all of us.
It felt as though someone had yanked the ground from beneath me.
His voice. It was nothing like it.
His voice is deep, smooth, and velvety, with a calming and rich tone that exudes a sense of mystery and allure.
It feels a little commanding and soothing to the ears, and hypnotic.
And his hair was up to his waist…and it was black and straight. When did his hair get so long? It wasn’t like that when I saw him yesterday.
It looked soft because of how some of its strands scattered backwards over the rest of his hair.
His jawline was perfect. His pointed nose and pale pink lips added to his perfection. And his eyes carried the world.
His eyes. It changed.
His gray eyes were as turbulent as a storm, full of mystery and quiet intensity.
And his white designed long sleeve and gray-silver trousers looked sexy on him.
He was barefooted, and silver-black chains were on his legs with the symbol of a skeleton head right on the front of the chain.
And the black tattoos of 999 were at the top of both hands and vanished immediately as it appeared.
As he stepped down from the staircase again, his aura changed.
His pheromones were powerful and smelled really nice.
I have seen nothing like it. He was like an angel with a gentle grace.
But…why did his appearance change so much? Was it because he has been asleep for a long period?
He wasn’t like this when I saw him yesterday? When did he wake up and how long has woken up?
What is going on here? Something is not right.
“Alpha Ash.” Someone gasped in the middle of the audience.
“Don’t you guys need coffee? A cry or a day in bed instead of gathering up for this? Y’all making me laugh. Why are y’all looking at me like that? Do I look like some ghost to you?” He slightly frowned. “I am your alpha.”
“But you are not the alpha of the Silvermist Pack.” A little girl innocently said out loud within the crowds.
Everyone’s terrified looks were on her.
She was just 10 years old. I looked closely and noticed she was new to the Silvermist pack because she doesn’t have the emblem of the pack on her neck.
Whoever’s from the Silvermist Pack always has an emblem of the pack stamped anywhere in their bodies. If they are not a member, they wouldn’t have the emblem on them. For her to speak out like that in public shows she doesn’t know who Ash is. She must have thought this was a party to play hide and seek at.
I should tell her to shut up.
Ash walked up to her and leaned closer to her with the mic close to his lips. “This is the Silvermist, little girl. Not your rogue territory. You are in my presence. If you don’t learn how to shut your mouth, I will shut it for you.”
How did he know she was from a rogue territory?
He just met her a few seconds ago. He could tell by first glance.
The little girl moved back in fear when Ash’s eyes glowed purple. She covered her eyes and screamed in agony, falling flat to the floor.
No one dared to move close enough to help her and rescue her. They all stepped back and turned their back on her.
Only the guards rushed to her and took her away from the audience. What did he do? What happened to her eyes?
“Throughout the heavens and earth, the werewolves and the realms, I alone am the honored one.” His gaze fell on James’ spot as if nothing happened. “I am the Alpha. I am the power. The crown and the end. I will destroy you.”
I still can’t believe my eyes. Ash has woken up!
Is it just me or has his aura darkened a little?
The audience’s voices increased when Ash spoke out those words.
