YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING.

Book:His Darkened Obsession Published:2024-11-27

“There is so much we don’t know about them, Anderson. The reason the Dark Wood Wolves are the first in line with the Blood Moon Clan is because of their strength and taking out the Blood Moon Clan and Ash will be the path to their victory. But the bad news is, there are rumors that the Dark Wood Wolves want to collaborate with the Blood Moon Clan as soon as possible to strengthen their power.”
Anderson gasped. “No way.”
“Yes, they will be powerful, and no one will stand up to them. Not even the Silvermist Pack.”
“This is bad,” Anderson added.
“Yes, it is bad if Ash doesn’t wake up.”
We both turned to whoever spoke behind us a second ago.
“Storm.” We both muttered as he walked over to us.
“The Dark Wood Wolves and the Blood Moon Clan are enemies and are the first in line. If they collaborate, it will be bad for us all and if worse comes to worse, they will take over everyone. And Ash doesn’t want to let that happen.”
“You are also out too.” Anderson ran over to Storm. “I can’t believe it. You are way more handsome than…” He hesitated when Storm blankly glanced at him without moving an inch. He coughed and said. “Ash doesn’t want to let that happen? I don’t understand what is going on here?”
He looked embarrassed. Why did Storm give him an attitude? They haven’t seen each other for three years.
“Are you that dense?” Storm remarked with both hands in his pocket. “I thought after three years of not seeing each other, you would have at least matured a little. But I see you are still a child. Probably a toddler in that little brain of yours.”
The breeze flew through our clothes as Storm stood in front of us.
Storm’s hair was a little rough and longer than his shoulder and ten thick strands of his hair were white and the others were black. He wore big silver square earrings and looked a little manly.
He wore white ripped trousers, black long sleeves and smelled good too.
The both sides of his neck were tattooed.
“You don’t understand what I’m trying to say.” Anderson face-palmed his face again.
“Then, explain.” Storm urged him.
“What I’m saying is, how is Ash’s concern with the other clans? Isn’t he supposed to be facing his clan? Why should he be enemies with the Dark Wood Wolves and…damn…I don’t even know how to start.” Anderson gave up and rested his back on the white pillar behind him.
I glanced at Storm once more. “I didn’t know you also got out.”
“Happy to see me?!” He winked.
“Stop joking around. I’m dead serious.”
“I miss you so much.” Storm came closer to me. “What about you? How was your cell?”
Something about his eyes doesn’t feel right. Why was it gray instead of black?
And he drew a tattoo, a black wolf on both sides of his neck.
When did he get out of his cell?
“How did you get into my clan?”
“A wolf has his ways.” He uttered and walked past me. “Now that we are here, what are we gonna do about Ash?” He switched his expression over to us. “We can’t sit by and do nothing.”
Anderson left the pillar. “Jinx suspects someone from the Dark Wood Wolves attacked Ash because of a grudge.”
“His parents moved him to a facility for coma patients. And if we don’t do something about it, we might be next in line.” I added.
“Are you saying we might also get attacked too?!” Anderson asked.
“Yes.” Storm responded firmly. “That’s what I’m saying. If we don’t do something about it. And we need to get Ash out of the facility. Whoever was behind his predicament will want to finish him up once and for all and set out for their next target.”
“What! We are next?” Anderson somewhat panicked.
“Yes.” Storm blankly responded. “We are up next because the jerk would have heard we are out of our parents’ cells and come onto us for our heads. We have to get Ash out of the facility.”
“Where do we put him?” I asked, trying as hard as possible to contain my anger.
“At your place, Anderson.” Storm faced him with a slight frown. “He would be in your room and no one would know he was there. Willow should be the only one who knows Ash is there with you.”
“This is a bad idea, Storm.” I cut in. “Anderson is not that strong to fight.”
“What! Are you trying to say, I’m a fucking weakling.”
“Of course you are. You are not as strong as me and Storm. We can’t put Ash’s life in your hands.”
“You can’t put his life in my hands? What are you-”
“Stop bickering between yourselves.” Storm stopped us. “Listen, I have my reasons for putting Ash in Anderson’s hands. His pack, as well as his home, is stuffed with security, and Anderson doesn’t have inner enemies in his household and knows who to trust and not whom to trust.” He turned to me. “But as for you, Jinx, you have no one to trust. Ash will be dead before we get to you.”
“You are right.” I agreed with a nod. “What about Violet?”
“I will handle her myself.” Storm’s ears made a sound as he stepped forward between us. “We must do anything to find out who attacked Ash and kill him.”
“Kill him?” Anderson exclaimed and gave out a fake laugh. “Don’t tell me you are serious.”
His large gray eyes widened. “A gun pointed at your head and a dagger was beside you. What would you do?”
Anderson was stunned by Storm’s question.
“Will you stab him with the opportunity you got? What will you do, Anderson? Kill him or die in his place instead?”
“Storm-”
“If you don’t get dirt on your hands, Anderson, you can step out now and not get involved in Ash’s life.”
“Hey, take it easy. I was just-”
“Don’t get on my nerves, Anderson. It wouldn’t be funny.”
The atmosphere between us darkened and Storm’s gray eyes held a deep hatred I have never seen before.
Whatever happened inside his cell, wherever he got locked up in, must have injured his heart and caused a scar.
We all want to know Ash’s killer and it wouldn’t be easy to target him and kill him. We are few in numbers and if we are not careful of our tracks, we would get jumped off the bus.
“I care about Ash-”
“I don’t care if you are concerned about him, Anderson.” He cut him short.
“I don’t like your attitude, Storm. You are acting like I’m selfish and only-“
