In the hospital, Patrick Connor was seated with Luna Wesley. They had both come over for a DNA test as requested by Patrick. He had called Luna earlier that day and requested that the only condition in which he can accept her as his mother, is to be certain about the bond they shared.
Quickly, Luna agreed to come over for the DNA. That’s how they ended up in the hospital. Richard was not brought into the picture. Patrick doesn’t want him to be involved with these.
He already has his family. They shouldn’t come into his life to disrupt their happy home. If he ends up being Luna Wesley’s son, they’ll have a severe relationship with Richard.
It was while they were there that there was breaking news: Anna Lester was making a video from her bedroom.
At this time, Adrian just locked himself up in his bedroom. His Mom pleaded with him but he refused. She should hand herself over to the police first.
Perhaps her punishment would be minimal. But she needs to do the right thing. He had told her that he would call the police on her and after, leave New Jersey forever if he didn’t do something drastic to himself that would hurt her.
“I didn’t want Luna’s son to compete with you in the Lester family, that’s why I did it to him. But I didn’t hurt the little boy” she had pleaded but Adrian said, “you came into the Lester family through subtilty and you have to use the same measure to keep yourself and your unborn baby safe”
And when his mother left his room, he told her that they aren’t related henceforth until she handed herself over to the police. That was what broke Anna Lester.
She had called the police before making the confession. It was while waiting that she made the video recording and sent it online.
Now everyone was watching it. And it went further into breaking news, many media took it up and helped propagate it.
The Lester family is a big name in New Jersey. Everyone wanted to know what was happening. This was going to ruin their business and shake the entire city but they’ll rise again.
“My name is Anna Lester…” the confession began. She opened up by saying she was responsible for Luna Wesley’s being charged for murder many years ago. Luna was innocent.
She publicly announced to Luna where she could find her son. She doesn’t know anything about the boy again nor does she know what he looks like.
She had bribed Sam Kechi to ensure that he does whatever he can, to keep Luna rotting in jail forever…”
After the confession, she stepped out just as the police car arrived. She walked out, stretched out her hands for the handcuffs and said “Take me away”
Before the journalists would arrive at the Lester mansion, she was already in the car and was being taken away. They couldn’t get a good and clear snapshot but they got a few as the car drove off.
Richard was in his office when he watched the video clip. Grandfather Lester was in the sitting room, Adrian was in his bedroom, Luna and Patrick were in the hospital.
That was the trending news that day. A lot of people cursed her, called her name and wished that she died in jail and get separated from her son and husband forever.
Others call her a wild chicken, who could go any length to destroy others just to be able to fly with the wings of a Phoenix. Karma had caught up with her.
A few applauded her. They say it was better that she made a confession to that. She would find happiness for the rest of her life.
There was a ruckus among other sets online. Some frowned at the post of those that congratulated her. They call them ignorant people who are seeking favours from the Lester family.
The Lester family consists of cruel people. Wealth had made them sell their conscience. Isn’t Anna Adrian Lester’s mother. He was responsible for Sam Leon’s death and also murdered his wife Ava Leon.
He was a cheat, a Casanova and recently was found to be a gay. He molests men and goes after anything in skirts. He was rumoured to be Patrick Conner’s lover.
The both of them are gay and Adrian cheated on him and since then, they’ve been separated. They looked like best of friends but in secret, they are more than friends, they are lovers.
That part got Richard furious. The public were dragging both of his sons into the mire that Anna had created. He wouldn’t take it.
He had the news brought down and the comments erased. Some rumour mongers were spreading false news to discredit his sons’ characters. He’d gotten part of what he wanted, now Luna needs to be compensated by him, Anna, Sam Kechi and the government of New Jersey.
Once that is done, he will be pleased and let her live the rest of her life, happily with her son. But first, this whole mess must be wiped out.
