As the words echoed, a blade light slashed out, tearing a dark rift in the void.
Now, after activating his bloodline power, his cultivation could rise to the first-rank Condensed Kun Realm, and a casual strike from him was enough to defeat a fifth-rank opponent.
“Jayce, watch out!” Channing Larsen, who had been observing from a distance, cried out upon sensing the power of the strike.
“You dare!” Elder Luciano shouted simultaneously, quickly rushing forward.
However, he was still too far from the battle zone. Even with his rapid teleportation speed, he was still too slow.
Before he could reach halfway, the blade light tore through Jayce Larsen’s fireball and flashed straight through his body.
Jayce Larsen looked down at the line of blood on his body. He couldn’t utter a single word before his body split in two and fell from mid-air, his face frozen in an expression of endless horror.
Moreover, the most despairing part for him was that Billy’s strike not only severed his physical body but also annihilated his soul.
His soul was completely destroyed!
In that final moment, he finally understood what a prodigy truly was!
At the same time, he felt intense regret. If he hadn’t courted death, it would have been Billy who died!
But now, it was too late for any regrets!
“You deserve to die!!!” Elder Luciano and Channing Larsen roared simultaneously, stunned in place.
“White Feather, let’s go!” Billy’s voice rang out.
“Alright!” White Feather quickly came to Billy’s side after responding.
Immediately after, once Billy was seated on her back, she flapped her wings and disappeared into the horizon at an astonishing speed. By the time Channing Larsen and Elder Luciano reacted, Billy was already out of sight.
“Damn it!” Their hysterical roars echoed through the void.
Their faces were extremely grim!
Jayce Larsen had been killed right in front of them; it was an utter humiliation!
Both of them swore that they would not rest until Billy was dead!
While they were going mad with rage, Billy and White Feather had already arrived at an unknown star domain.
“Billy, why didn’t you kill those two old guys as well?” White Feather asked.
“No rush,” Billy replied with a faint smile.
“If we kill them now, Borderless Nation will send even stronger people next time.”
“We still don’t fully understand Borderless Nation’s strength. We might be at a disadvantage then.”
This was indeed his true thought.
He had no concept of Borderless Nation’s full power yet, but considering that it ranked among the top ten forces in the eighth-tier star domain, it couldn’t be weak.
Most likely, they had Controlled Kun Realm experts, and with his current strength, he didn’t have much advantage against such opponents.
So, he needed time!
“Understood!” White Feather responded and then asked, “Billy, where are we going now?”
“To Celestial Pavilion,” Billy replied after a brief thought.
“Alright!” White Feather nodded.
Two days later, White Feather landed on the outskirts of a city.
The city wasn’t large and was named Celestial City. It was built at the foot of a towering mountain that reached into the clouds.
Half of the mountain was shrouded in mist, and Celestial Pavilion was situated at its peak.
“Billy, are we heading directly to Celestial Pavilion?” White Feather asked as she looked at Billy.
“You go rest in Nine Dragons Cauldron Space. I’ll take a look around the city first,” Billy said after some thought.
“Okay!” White Feather responded.
Soon after White Feather entered Nine Dragons Cauldron Space, Billy walked towards the city.
Although Celestial City was named after ‘Celestial,’ it didn’t mean that everyone in the city was a disciple of Celestial Pavilion.
The city had a different name but was renamed due to Celestial Pavilion’s fame.
Upon entering the city, Billy was slightly surprised by the number of people on the streets. The crowd was bustling and far exceeded his expectations for a city of this size.
Moreover, many of them were not weak martial artists. There were quite a few in the mid to late stages of Supreme Source Realm and even one or two Condensed Kun Realm practitioners occasionally.
A small city with so many people on the streets, and all of them quite skilled-it was unusual.
After walking for about fifteen minutes, Billy entered a teahouse that was equally lively and bustling with noise.
“Sir, please come inside!” A waiter led Billy further into the teahouse.
“Is there something big happening in Celestial City these days? Why is it so lively?” Billy asked after ordering some tea.
“Sir, aren’t you here for the grand event in three days?” The waiter asked in surprise.
“The grand event in three days?” Billy was puzzled. “What event?”
“Sir, you really don’t know?” The waiter paused before continuing.
“In three days, the old pavilion master of Celestial Pavilion will publicly display a scroll of Heaven Book and teach everyone how to comprehend it.”
“Such a great opportunity naturally attracts many people!”
“Oh?” Billy was surprised again. “Has anything like this happened before?”
“I’ve never heard of it!” The waiter shook his head.
“Then what’s their purpose this time?” Billy asked further.
“The common belief is that the old pavilion master has recently gained some insights from studying Heaven Book all his life and doesn’t want to keep it to himself. So he’s sharing it with the world,” the waiter replied.
“So generous?” Billy smiled. “Aren’t they afraid someone might steal Heaven Book?”
“You’re joking!” The waiter said.
“Celestial Pavilion ranks at least in the top ten among first-tier forces. Who would dare to steal from them?”
“Besides, as far as I know, Celestial Pavilion’s main courtyard has a powerful killing array that almost no one can break.”
“So even stronger forces than Celestial Pavilion wouldn’t easily come here to cause trouble…”
Before the waiter could finish speaking, a figure flew backward and landed heavily not far from Billy, spitting blood.
Billy looked over and saw a girl around fifteen or sixteen years old. Her hair was messy, she wore wrinkled clothes, and her face was dirty as if she hadn’t washed it for days.
“Sir, bad people are trying to kill me. Please save me!” The girl struggled to get up and quickly hid behind Billy.
At the same time, a pale-faced young man dressed in fine clothes approached with five or six others.
“Sir, they’re from Bloodforged Gate. It’s best not to get involved with them,” the waiter whispered a reminder.
“You filthy beggar! How dare you steal from my young master? Do you not know what death means?” One of the followers shouted as they approached.
“You… don’t come any closer. I didn’t steal anything…” The girl responded timidly from behind Billy.
“You lying wench! Deny it again and I’ll tear you apart!” The follower roared angrily.
“I really didn’t steal…” The girl wiped the blood from her mouth and replied again.
“I’m giving you one last chance. Hand over what you stole, and I’ll spare your life,” said Luke Gould, the young man leading the group. “Otherwise, when I check your storage ring and find it there, you’ll wish you were dead!”
“I… I didn’t steal anything…” The girl hesitated before continuing. “It was you…”
“Courting death!” Before she could finish her sentence, one of Luke’s followers rushed forward. “You want to die? I’ll grant your wish!”
“Sir, please save me! I really didn’t steal anything…” The girl grabbed Billy’s arm in panic and shook it desperately.
“What did she steal from you?” Billy asked calmly as he looked at the man who had approached.
