“Marilyn really has a lot of nerves. She comes in here and starts acting like a raving dog.” I hissed. It was annoying that everyone was merely tolerating her but she, not knowing her place, angered me the most.
Pandora insisted that I calmed my nerves and avoided having any issues with her. Even though she was concerned about the pregnancy, I knew having a lowlife bitch talk to her rudely was not getting a free flight past me.
“Let it go, Kiara. I don’t want you getting stressed like that. I only came down here to see Uncle Joe. Feels surreal that we are meeting again, I’m glad that Rolan did not kill him outrightly in anger. I would have been hurt if I didn’t get to look him in the face as he begs for death.” Pandora said, and I looked at her in surprise.
“Wow. Where is my peaceful Pandora?” I teased and we laughed heartily.
She walked ahead of me and located Uncle Joe’s cell easily.
“Hello, Uncle Joe.” Pandora greeted and laughed. She had a scary murderous glint in her eyes and her aura was suddenly dangerous.
I shifted, seeing that goosebumps even began to appear on my body.
“Pandora! You are back! Tell your husband to let me…”
“You better shut up your dirty trap if you do not want me to have the guards remove your tongue.” Pandora threatened. Until now, I had never seen this side of her. She was usually the sweet voice of reason and never let anyone get hurt even if it killed her. Seeing her reacting this way to someone who did not deserve any of her compassion was greatly appreciated.
I moved to the edge of the dungeon to allow Pandora some room to handle her business with Uncle Joe.
“I am your father-in-law!” Uncle Joe yelled from inside the cell.
Pandora merely laughed and called out to the guards.
“Go in there and drag him out for me. You, get me the torture box. Rolan’s special one.” She instructed, and the guards rushed to do her bidding.
When the guard dragged Uncle Joe out, just as the other was setting the torture tools, he looked so slim and disheveled, looking nothing like the pictures of him that I had seen.
“Tie him to the electric chair” she ordered, and I watched as a side of Pandora that I never knew existed began to unravel in front of me.
“Uncle Joe, I did nothing to you. Do you agree with that?” She asked him and when he didn’t answer her, she threw a bucket of icy cold water on him.
“You will answer me when I speak to you, do you hear me?” She yelled at him with so much power that Uncle Joe peed in his pants. The yellow liquid ran down the electric chair and spread to his feet.
Pandora nodded, and one of the guards switched on the knob of the electric chair. She strolled to the lever and smiled sinisterly before pulling on the lever and electric sparks emanated from the chair alongside Uncle Joe’s agonizing screams.
“You will respect me and bow to me when I speak to you. Do you know you killed my child? An heir to the throne of this pack. I did not want Rolan to hurt you, I pleaded for your cause and even fought with him about it, yet you chose to make me a victim in your fights. I suffered and for everything that I went through, I will make sure that you go through it in a hundred folds.” She threatened and turned up the lever, Uncle Joe’s agonizing screams filling up the room.
Even the guards shifted uncomfortably as no one thought that Pandora was capable of hurting anyone, regardless of what they had done. Well, at least everyone knows that her family is where she draws the line of compassion for offenders.
“I’m sorry! I am sorry, Luna! Please forgive me! This pain is too much for me to bear. I will do anything for you not to be upset. Just make it stop! Make this pain stop.” Uncle Joe yelled and Pandora pulled the lever to its highest.
I saw Marilyn rush in and I immediately sprang into action. Blocking her path and having the guards hold her down tightly, she watched as Pandora doused Uncle Joe with more cold water and then electrocuted him just to the point where we all thought he was going to die.
“Get me the pliers. Two of you, come here.” Pandora ordered two of the other guards who were already shaking in fear.
“Hold his mouth open for me. I need you to hold it wide enough. We don’t want him choking on his teeth.” She said and laughed like she was merely talking about helping a child brush his or her teeth.
“Pandora, he does not deserve this. You are so mean and heartless and if anything happens to Uncle Joe, I will get you back for it.” Marilyn yelled like a mad person as the guards held her down while she wrestled to get out of their grip.
“Marilyn, he had her kidnapped, beaten, and kicked in the stomach severally, his actions made Pandora lose her memory where she was separated from everyone for months, she lost one of her babies in the process and yet, you say that he does not deserve what she is doing to him?” I asked Marilyn, wondering what her response would be.
Considering how emotional she was about all of this, one would think that she would have done everything she could to stay with Rolan. Something did not feel right.
As Uncle Joe’s muffled screams filled the room, Marilyn ran out of the room while Pandora laughed hysterically at him.
“You will pay for everything. Guards, throw him back into his cell. He will not be fed for three days. No water and no food. I have a great plan for later. ” Pandora ordered and went to the sink to wash her bloodstained hands with the soap.
“Let’s go, my love. Rolan should be home soon. He said he had something important to discuss with me.” She said excitedly while I nodded, unable to reconcile this bubbly innocent woman with the stone-cold killer I had faced some minutes ago.
