Our tour around the world was cut short after dad’s phone call to return immediately to the kingdom.
He wants to retire and hand us the throne, and if we don’t quit our current lifestyle, he will hand the throne to our younger brother Leo and dishonour us as his kids and banish us from the kingdom.
Dad has always been against our lifestyle, he considers us the bad eggs of the family.
He’s a family man. He only has my mother in his life, his mate. He loves her and adores her so much that he will sacrifice his life for her.
And we are not, we like women, we like having plenty of them to warm our bed, and it’s not like we’re trying hard to get them, they offer themselves to us on a silver plate, they cannot resist our charming aura plus the money, of course.
Our parents want us to find our mates and quit this manwhore life, as I quote them.
And settle down, but we don’t want mates
We don’t want that classic boring life.

We are going to the training field to train the new warriors.

We moved to where they’re staying.
The two warriors bowed their heads when they saw us.
“You can leave us “. We dismissed them.
“Yes your highness”
“What are you doing here, looking like whores and flirting with them “? They were a taken aback my insult, but they hid it.
” It’s none of your business ” Rosalie fired back
” You better watch your tongue, Rosalie, and know your place. Your family begins close to ours and the fact that your brother is mated to my sister makes you royalty.

I can see pain and tears filling their eyes.
” And you’re an asshole, let’s go. Rosalie ” Amelia took her sister’s hand and left the field
We can hear faint voices and whispers coming from the warriors as they witnessed everything.
“On the line ” I yelled in the authorities ‘ voice.

” I told you I never liked Charlotte, there’s something off about her, she’s too spoiled, selfish and self-absorbed,” my sister Ava pointed out.
She’s having a delicate pregnancy. The doctor puts her on a bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy, so she can’t be on her feet for so long. She’s a half demon, half dragon and having a werewolf baby. Pregnancy can be dangerous for her and the baby. She needs to be cautioned.
I came all the way to make sure she was okay and healthy. It’s the first time I came to the kingdom after Charlotte’s scandal.
I kept everything secret except for my parents and Ava. Her family is like my family and no matter what, she remains my best friend.
I will check on her after my visit to Ava’s.
” So what are you going to do with the baby? Everyone knows the pup she’s carrying is yours”
“Nothing, it’s complicated, I can’t ruin her and uncle Xander and aunt Gina’s reputation. The world will know the pup is mine, but in reality it will be raised by his mother and biological father.”
” I already feel sad for the pup to have that kind of mother. She’s not sane and you need to be cautious. Don’t trust her too much. ”
“Don’t worry, she’s getting treatment and uncle Xander said she is progressing. She will be fine ”
” I hope you’re right. ”
“I’m going to see Charlotte before I leave and take care of my nephew”
I kissed her cheek.
She rubbed her stomach and beamed at me.
” I will thank you ”
I was about to leave the room when the most intoxicating smell hit my nostrils. He sniffed the air and the scent of amber-vanilla hung in the room. I breathed the amber-vanilla deeply and my senses became saturated quickly by the scent.
“Mate, our mate is here ” my dragon shouted.
My eyes lit up, and I felt a rush of excitement.
The faint sweet scent was close and when the door knob turned on my excitement grew.
The door opened and Angie walked in .
Our eyes looked up, and we mouthed the mate word at the same time.

My face contorted with a mix of disbelief and shock.
Angie is my mate!
Fuck, I don’t know if I should be happy or sad.
She clamped her hand over her mouth , eyes wide with disbelief, surprise had taken hold of her, threatening to spill from her lips in an uncontrollable gasp .
She froze there, muscles locked in a momentary paralysis, her eyes wide with astonishment, surprise momentarily rendering her immobile.
The moon goddess must be punishing me for my sins , she wants to see me suffer.
She’s happily mated to another mate for fuck sake.
Our mate-bond will be broken for the second time, but this time it’s not me who’s going to break it, it’s Angelina.
