Chapter 2393: Sky Burial Blade

Book:Lord Came Back From The Battlefield Published:2024-11-24

A dozen people arrived outside the palace and looked up at the sky.
Not only them, but hundreds of people in the courtyard also looked up simultaneously, each with an expression of extreme shock on their faces.
A blade light containing immense energy tore through the void and descended from the sky, as fast as lightning, shattering the heavens.
Flame Hall was a quasi-first-class force in the eighth-tier star domain. Both Davin Baker and other members of the Elder Council had seen many so-called strong warriors.
But they were certain that no one in the entire eighth-tier star domain could unleash such a strike!
This was a blade force that directly tore through the void. Not to mention Condensed Kun Realm warriors, even Controlled Kun Realm warriors couldn’t achieve this!
How could there be such a powerful warrior in the eighth-tier star domain?!
“Everyone, attack together!” Davin Baker took a deep breath and shouted loudly.
“Understood!” Everyone in the courtyard responded simultaneously.
They knew that it was too late to run now. It was better to fight with all their might; perhaps there was still a sliver of hope.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Hundreds of people attacked simultaneously, each giving their all, launching extremely violent attacks towards the blade light.
A deafening explosion echoed across the sky, and the void instantly collapsed. The attacks from Flame Hall’s people were like paper, disintegrating into nothingness.
The next second, the blade light fell!
A devastating shockwave spread rapidly, destroying everything in its path. The entire courtyard was leveled in an instant.
Everyone, including Davin Baker, had no chance to struggle and turned into nothingness, their souls annihilated!
Who wanted to destroy Flame Hall?!
This was everyone’s question at the moment of their death!
To annihilate a sect with one strike was terrifying beyond belief!
For a long time afterward, this event was speculated upon by various forces in the eighth-tier star domain, but there was never a clear answer!
A month passed quickly.
One day, Billy finished his training and rested on a rock.
“Very good!” An old man with white hair appeared not far away, looking at Billy with a hint of satisfaction in his eyes.
“In one month, you have mastered this blade technique faster than I expected!”
“You flatter me!” Billy stood up and said, “It took me a month just to master it; it’s quite embarrassing!”
“No need to be modest. Before you, the fastest person I knew took nearly three months to master it!” The old man with white hair laughed.
“Sir, may I know your name?” Billy asked.
“I’ll tell you next time we meet!” The old man replied. “I’ll be waiting for you in the ninth-tier star domain!”
“Your true body is in the ninth-tier star domain?” Billy was surprised.
A month ago, when he first saw the old man, he thought it was his true body. Later, he realized it was just a soul projection.
“Yes!” The old man nodded.
“Sir, does this blade technique have a name?” Billy continued to ask.
“It doesn’t have a name!” The old man paused before adding, “If you must name it, call it Sky Burial Blade!”
Could you be more serious when naming a blade technique?
First Cracked Sky, then Slaughter Sky, and now Sky Burial Blade. Why do they all have something to do with sky?
“Alright, my task is complete. I’ll use the remaining energy to boost your cultivation!” The old man continued.
“You have a long road ahead. No matter what, make sure you stay alive. Only by living can there be hope!”
“This space will collapse in an hour. The exit is in that dry well over there. See you in the ninth-tier star domain!”
As he finished speaking, his figure turned into a white light and merged into Billy’s body.
The next moment, Billy felt a violent energy sweeping through his body.
Without thinking much, he quickly sat down cross-legged and activated his bloodline power and cultivation technique to guide it.
After about half an hour, an overwhelming aura burst from him, crushing everything around him into powder.
Eighth-rank Supreme Source Realm!
The old man’s soul projection had directly boosted him by three minor levels!
Such power!
“Thank you, sir!”
After resting for a while, Billy stood up and bowed towards the void.
Then he walked to the dry well nearby and jumped in.
After some time, Billy found himself back in the stone chamber he had been in before.
“You’re back!” Fairy’s voice came from the doorway.
“Yes!” Billy smiled and nodded.
“Eighth-rank Supreme Source Realm?” Fairy checked Billy’s cultivation level and her eyes lit up.
“It’s all thanks to that senior!” Billy smiled again.
“Don’t be modest. Your physique played a big role. Without it, no one could help you!” Fairy replied.
After speaking, they walked out of the cave together.
“Miss Fairy, do you know about Heaven’s Scourge?” Billy asked as they walked.
“I do!” Fairy responded and added, “But you don’t need to worry about it yet. Focus on getting stronger first!”
“Otherwise, everything else is just empty talk!”
“Alright!” Billy nodded.
After a brief pause, he continued, “Miss Fairy, do you know about the Heaven Alliance in the eighth-tier star domain?”
“They’re not much of an alliance, just a bunch of rabble!” Fairy sneered. “If they target you, just kill them!”
“… Understood!” Billy’s mouth twitched slightly. “Got it!”
“Sanaa and your women are all in seclusion. What are your plans?” Fairy asked.
“Miss Sanaa is in seclusion too?” Billy was curious. “Miss Fairy, how did you meet Miss Sanaa?”
“She’s in the seventh-tier star domain, you’re in the eighth-tier star domain. How did you cross paths?”
“According to her, you’re not one for gossip!” Fairy replied.
“Just curious!” Billy smiled.
“You’ll find out eventually!” Fairy said again.
“Alright!” Billy paused before asking again, “When will Miss Sanaa and the others come out of seclusion?”
“Three months at the earliest, six months at the latest!” Fairy replied.
“I’ll visit Zenith Sect first then!” Billy thought for a moment before speaking. “Then I’ll go to Celestial Pavilion!”
Nine Dragons Cauldron was still at Zenith Sect; he needed to retrieve it before it caused trouble with that white-robed uncle!
“It’s surprising you gave Nine Dragons Cauldron to Zenith Sect’s young lady!” Fairy continued. “In the past month, at least three forces have visited Zenith Sect. It’s on the brink of collapse.”
“Human greed is insatiable and can lead to trouble; they brought it upon themselves!” Billy smiled faintly. “By the way, Miss Fairy, do you know where Zenith Sect and Celestial Pavilion’s headquarters are?”
“I do!” Fairy said as she sent a stream of information into Billy’s mind.
“Thank you!” Billy read the information and said.
“Do you need me to go with you?” Fairy asked.
“Thank you, Miss Fairy!” Billy smiled. “But I can handle it!”
“Alright!” Fairy replied.
After about fifteen minutes, they arrived at Fairy’s small courtyard.
“Billy, you’re out!” White Feather approached.
“Yes!” Billy smiled and nodded.
“Hurry up and get going; if not, Nine Dragons Cauldron will be taken by other forces!” Fairy said.
“Alright!” Billy responded.
Then White Feather carried Billy away…
