Upon receiving Chris’s call, Bull displayed a respectful demeanor.
Chris got straight to the point: “Bull, my wife’s cousin was cornered right at the restroom entrance of the Dynasty Club! They claim to be from East Coast Securities. Come over immediately.”
“Yes, yes, Mr. Shelby, I’m on my way!”
After the call, Bull dared not delay and immediately headed to the Dynasty Club with his men.
“You really think you’re something, huh? Just one phone call and you have Bull rushing over. Don’t you know who you are? You think you’re the King of the East Coast? Let me tell you, if Bull doesn’t show up today, you’re done for,” Crow sneered disdainfully at Chris.
He couldn’t believe that a single call from Chris would summon Bull.

“Chris, cut the act and call my cousin! She’s the president of Chester Group, and she can definitely sort this out,” urged Bald Rivers, nearly in tears by now, frustrated at Chris’s aloof demeanor.

He had made himself look foolish, yet Chris continued his charade; what nonsense!
Chris glanced at Bald Rivers, speechless.
Bald Rivers, indeed, had a knack for pretense.
But pretense without substance is just foolishness.
Crow glanced at his watch and said, “Look, it’s been a minute, and Bull hasn’t shown up. Seems like you were bluffing. Well, no hard feelings then. Guys, teach him a lesson and show him I’m not someone to mess with!”
At his command, a dozen thugs surrounded Chris.
“Stop!”
Just as they were about to strike, a furious roar echoed.
Crow looked up, only to see Bull leading hundreds of his men storming in.
“Bull!”
Crow’s eyes widened in disbelief.
He never expected Bull to actually come; how could this be?
Having once met Bull at a banquet, Crow had some memory of him.
“Bull, I…”
Crow approached, trembling.
Bull glared at him and snapped, “Don’t talk just yet. I’ll deal with you in a moment!”
With a thud, Bull fell to his knees before Chris without hesitation.
“Mr. Shelby, I’m sorry. It’s my lack of discipline that led to this mess.”
Bull knelt, his body trembling slightly.
Bull knew well the fate of James Mester, how he had lost his position to Bull.
It was due to James Mester’s poor management that Chris had stripped him of his role as head of East Coast Securities.
If he were to lose his position over this incident, Bull would be inconsolable.
