An important information

Book:A NIGHTSTAND WITH THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA Published:2024-11-24

The next morning, the early morning alarm pierced the air of the very quiet room Grace and Cassandra had slept in.
There were two comfortable beds in the room; Grace had occupied one and Cassandra had occupied the other.
“Wakey, wakey, it is morning already.” Cassandra called out to Grace as she tapped her softly.
Cassandra was an early waker, but not for Grace. She had even slept in an angry state the previous night, and even if Cassandra had tried to talk to her, she really didn’t even pay a damn attention to it.
“I won’t go to the office today, Hun!” Grace said as she yawned and rolled on the bed, trying to gather energy, but it was really not working.
“You won’t go to the office today? Why?” Cassandra asked Grace as she sat down on the bed, besides her.
I really don’t want to go, not at all. I am not in the mood, babe.” Grace cried out.
She was really not scared of Alpha Nelson’s threat of her not being seen in the office.
He had damn called it her duty. What the fuck! What damn duty? Since Sophia is now his wife, she should take over.
“You are coming with me; we discussed something earlier, the previous night. So why this now?” Cassandra asked Grace.
“He has a wife that could go and take care of the office. I really want to rest my brain for a while. Before I can start going to the office, I am fed up.” Grace said she was really feeling so bitter and angry at the same time.
After so much persuasion from Cassandra, Grace decided to go to the office that very day, and now they were prepared and good to go.
Grace was wearing a crisp blue shirt and a suit to match, her very black fitted trousers, and a black Gucci handbag to match her outfit.
Cassandra had helped her combed her long hair so well, and it poured on her back, making her look so stunning and mesmerizing, coupled with the fact that she applied a light make-up to her smooth skin, making her glow more like a shining bright sun.
“Are we good to go?” Cassandra asked Grace as they stood up from the dining. They were done eating.
Due to the fact that Grace had earlier said she wouldn’t be going to the office, Cassandra had wasted a lot of time trying to persuade her, and Alpha Nelson and Grace had eaten breakfast and left for the office before Grace and Cassandra could be done.
“Yes, we are good to go, Hun.” Grace said as she adjusted her clothes so they could leave already.
“We would drive with my car, love; let’s start going already.” Sophia said, and they headed outside the compound premises.
Grace wasn’t even going to call her driver to come take her to the office, but she saw him rush to her.
“Good morning, Ma.” The driver greeted me so calm but also weirdly, and Grace could tell something was damn wrong.
“Good morning, how are you doing?” Grace asked him; he was looking so scared, and she had to.
“I am good, ma. Though I am sorry to inform you that I can’t drive you to the office today, I was instructed not to.” The driver finally said that that was making him act so scared and weirdly.
“What?” Cassandra squealed and walked a little bit closer to the driver.
She had seen the intensity the driver had used to rush to Grace, though she had no idea why, but she shifted a bit from them as she was on her phone. Though she knew something was fishy, she had eavesdropped on what the driver was saying to Grace.
“Who gave such a damn rule or order?” Cassandra was sneering at the driver already.
The driver was really so submissive; he had loved how Grace had been cool to him and was really not happy she was getting treated as she was being treated.
“Miss Sophia gave the order, and she had said it was strictly from Alpha Nelson.” The driver said, shaking as tears formed beads on his face.
“And when and what time was that?” Cassandra barked at the man.
“Earlier this morning before she left for the office this morning with Alpha Nelson.” The man said and bowed them curtly to her.
“We can’t talk about this right now; let’s leave already,” Grace said to Cassandra; she knew Cassandra would ask a lot of questions to the driver.
“Yes, let’s leave already.” Cassandra said, trying not to transfer aggression to the driver; he was really not the one that made the order but Sophia.
They were inside Cassandra’s car; she was really fuming when she heard the driver say that.
Like, what the heck and what kind of power does she think she has?
“Not to worry, we will see her at the office. She is really senseless as she looks.” CASSANDRA hated Sophia so much.
The level of hatred Grace has for Sophia was a little compared to the hatred Cassandra has for her.
Though Cassandra was still trying to get a private investigator to know more about Sophia, she had that feeling she knew Sophia somewhere, but she had no idea where.
“Are you okay?” Grace asked Cassandra as she noticed she was lost in thought.
Cassandra flinched a little, and then she replied, stammering.
“Y-es sure, I am okay. Just thought of something right now.” Cassandra said.
“Thought of what Hun?” Grace asked if Cassandra wasn’t able to give a response.
“We will talk about it later; for now, let’s get to the office and continue with the plan.” Cassandra said and smiled at Grace.
“Sure, if you say so.” Grace said, but what she had said was really not from her heart.
“I will get to know more about you, Sophia, and I will use that to bring you down and tell you it’s not only about power and wealth.” Cassandra said within her, and just then her phone buzzed with a message that said.
“We have information about her now!” Information about who?
Read and find out what happens next. Do you think Sophia and Cassandra knew each other but were not aware?
