Chapter 333: He Might Not Have Married at All

“Hmm, I know. Could you ask Ulric what he is doing in Jingtown? Is it because of Rosalind?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” The W Group hasn’t had any projects in Jingtown recently. Even if there were, no domestic project would require the CEO himself to make a trip unless it was worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
What else could it be for?
“They’ve already divorced, hasn’t Ulric remarried?” Everyone in the business world knew about the marriage.
Lion thought he had started a new life!
After all, their divorce meant there definitely had been problems between them. Now, with Rosalind presenting herself as married with children and Ulric announcing his marriage, Lion really couldn’t see any reason for them to still be connected.
Imagine his surprise to find out Ulric was in Jingtown for Rosalind!
Most importantly, Ulric knew about the incident where Rosalind was forced to drink, which meant he must still be in touch with her, or he had someone planted by her side.
If it was the latter, then sooner or later Ulric would find out about Rosalind’s daughter…
Lion dared not think further.
Now that Rosalind was claiming to be married, Ulric was still protecting her. What chance would he have if Ulric learned that the child was his?
“He just announced it, but none of us have seen the bride,” Johnny said cautiously, fearing trouble if he misspoke about Ulric’s private matters.
“Maybe he didn’t really get married?”
“I don’t know about that! He’s his own person; he doesn’t consult me on everything,” especially regarding Rosalind.
Ulric figured he was part of Sirena’s crew and naturally wouldn’t share too much with him.
“So… when you left Wayer City last time, did you tell him about Rosalind having a child?”
“No, didn’t you tell me? You said it would only make him sad, and I thought so too. It’s not his child, knowing would only hurt him. But seeing him still not giving up, I’m planning to tell him. Let him know how happy and lively Rosalind has been without him,” Johnny said, his tone full of indignation.
His dear friend hadn’t moved on, while Rosalind quickly did-not only getting married but also having a child!
Poor Ulric, still waiting in the same place, for what, a miracle?
“Stop!” Lion immediately intervened, “Don’t tell him.”
“Why so nervous?” Johnny’s voice suddenly grew louder, startling him.
“As a man, I understand that feeling. I’m also in unrequited love. Putting myself in Ulric’s shoes, I definitely wouldn’t want to hear that news; it would be too painful.”
Johnny sighed, “Alright, then let’s not talk about it. You’re here in Jingtown for Rosalind, aren’t you?”
“I am here for Rosalind, true, but it’s not the same situation as Ulric! Rosalind was sent by me on a business trip to Jingtown, and now that she’s in trouble, I have to intervene. But with the Zenith partnership falling through and Zenith itself gone, we’re also planning to leave.”
“Ha, Rosalind, a director on a business trip, gets forced to drink, and here you are, the big boss coming in person. You say you have no ulterior motives-who are you kidding?”
