Gio got off me when he realized there was nothing else he could do but explain.
“I was always here when there were meetings or days when I couldn’t go home due to work. Back then, there was no reason for me to go home. Whether I spent the night in the condo or here at the hotel, it was fine because I knew no one was waiting for me at home. It was back when I was still single, Millie. Now, when was the last time I didn’t go home without telling you? You think I have the time to fuck other women if I knew you were waiting for me at home? If I had no time to see women back then, let alone now that I’m married, Millie. I’m not fucking cheating; where did you even get that idea?”
I was left speechless by his words. He was right. If he wasn’t out of the country, he always came home no matter what time it was, just for me. It hurt me how quickly I was corrupted by what the manager had said.
I didn’t notice Gio had his hands on the bed, leaning towards me. He was so close to me that I widened my eyes in surprise.
“Should I fire the manager for letting you have these corrupted ideas about me?” he asked, his voice hoarse and deep. I swallowed hard at his words.
He brought his lips close to my ear. I felt his warm breath brush against my cheek.
“Aren’t I the one who should be jealous here, Millie? Why is it you now? Why are you even with Rory when I told you to ignore him?”
Now I was the one who fell silent. Wow, Gio changes positions so quickly. I shouldn’t feel guilty, but somehow Gio had this ability to make it happen. He was really skilled at controlling people.
I cleared my throat because it felt like there was an obstacle there.
“He’s an engineer assigned to our project for the expansion. I can’t just ignore him. There are times when we need to discuss project matters.”
“And that includes him inviting you to a lunch date, hmm?”
“No! Of course not. We’re just friends, so he thought it was okay. He doesn’t know that you’re jealous.” I spoke the last words with less conviction.
Gio chuckled softly at what I said. I didn’t like it. It sent shivers down my spine.
“Friends? As far as I remember the details vividly, Millie, he’s not your friend. He was your suitor.” He said the last word bitterly, as if he hated saying it but had no choice.
“I didn’t accept.”
“You almost said yes to him. You were about to tell me.”
I bit my lip. How much did this man know about me? He really knew a lot.
I took a deep breath and held his cheeks. I looked at him directly, as if I had nothing to hide. Well, I didn’t.
“Listen to me, Gio. You’re my husband, you’re the one I love. No matter what connection any man had with me before, they can’t replace you, okay? Whatever you see between me and Rory, it’s purely business. I can only offer friendship to him, then and now.”
I took another deep breath before adding to my words.
“Do you know why I almost said yes to him back then? Because I was desperate to be loved, Gio. I wanted to feel that I was being loved too. But you proved me wrong. When I married you, I learned that a relationship wouldn’t work if it’s one-sided. What we have, no one can replace. I love you. Please, trust me as much as I trust you.”
He looked at me for a moment before speaking. “I trust you, but I can’t promise I can stop being jealous. But I am going to restrain myself from killing anyone.”
That was enough for me. I pulled him closer to kiss his lips, and he eagerly returned the passionate kiss.
Gio slowly removed his clothes while we continued to exchange kisses. I lay on the bed, and my hands explored his body. Despite Gio being stronger than me, I managed to pull him on top of me.
I noticed the smirk on his face in response to my actions. I quickly shed my own clothes and returned to him. I unzipped his pants and brought them down along with his boxers.
His manhood sprang to life, fully ready for me. I licked my lips, teasing him before taking him into my mouth. Gio let out a deep groan as I moved up and down on him. I was accustomed to his size, and I could easily take him deep into my throat.
Gio growled when I began deepthroating him. I could feel him at the back of my throat. I was close to gagging, but I didn’t stop. Gio held my hair, guiding my head as he dictated the speed and pressure he wanted. I almost choked due to his considerable size.
Gio must have felt his climax approaching because he stopped me abruptly. “We still have work, Millie. Let’s do this quickly.”
He was about to get up, but I stopped him. I had a better idea. “Uh-huh, I want to be on top. So, stay there and let me ride you, Gio.”
I swiftly straddled him and adjusted my position. I moaned loudly as the tip of him slid into me. I teased myself with Gio’s shaft before slowly lowering my body onto it. I moaned loudly as I felt him penetrate me, fully and deeply.
“Oh, Gio…”
I began moving, feeling myself being consumed by him. I couldn’t get enough of this, and I intended to keep it forever.
This is mine. Gio is mine.
Gio held my hips and matched my movements. I collapsed onto his chest while he continued what he was doing. I couldn’t help but scream his name.
“Faster… Ahh! Deeper!”
Gio followed my instructions. He gave me everything I wanted. I once again took control of our movements, increasing our pace.
“I’m c*****g,” he groaned.
“Me too!”
We quickened our movements until we both reached the peak of pleasure.
I fell onto Gio’s chest, and he embraced me. He still hadn’t pulled out; he was still inside me.
“I love you,” I told him.
He kissed the top of my head and whispered, “I love you, Millie.”
I closed my eyes with a smile on my face. My heart was at ease.
