Aaron kept glancing up at Davine every once in a while, and though Zera noticed, she said nothing about it. Maybe he was putting together his theory like she had, and there was no problem with that.
After the last staff member, Mrs. Shelly Green, shared her work and home experiences in the last year, they called it a wrap on the talk experience. The next plan of the night was the mingle section and getting to know each other better. Aaron asked if she wanted to leave, but she didn’t want to; for some strange reason, she felt the urge to stay.
A few staff members approached them and said hello. While some were acquainted with Aaron from the fund-raiser over three years ago, others knew him from the news.
Zera moved to say hello to a few staff members she knew as well. After a few fake smiles, she decided she had done enough for the night and instead returned to stand with Aaron. She came with two glasses of wine and handed one to Aaron, and they watched the show from a distance.
“Do you want to leave?” she asked, taking a gulp of her glass and raising a brow.
“I’m fine as long as I am here beside you, though, so that’s my answer.” He said this and leaned in to kiss her lips slowly. Aaron wasn’t one to censor affections in public; he’d smack her butt and tongue kiss her in the face of the world and not feel bad about it. No, he hadn’t done anything overly sexual in public, but he had thought about it. She had seen him undress her many times, and his desire has still not grown cold. He was a proud lover, even after many years.
He wrapped his arms around her waist as she pulled away. “We shouldn’t take it too far.”
“Why? You don’t want to make anyone jealous?” He cocked his brow at her.
She bit her lips. “Maybe?”
He grinned and took the empty glass of wine from her hand. “Too late. You’re the most gorgeous woman here, and I don’t mean to brag, but you bagged yourself a billionaire and hauled him over to this meet and mingle. In the contest of looks and power, I say you’ve won in both.”
It was quite noble of him to brag about his wealth and not about his looks, even though he was the most gorgeous man present here tonight.
“Yeah, you’re extra cocky tonight; you want sex,” she called him out.
He smirked and said, “Oh, you know my game so well, my love.” He leaned closer and licked the side of her face.
She knew his games, and she loved his games.
He returned the empty glasses to the tray of the server passing by, reached for the two glasses with wine in them, and handed one to her. She collected it, took a gulp of the red wine, and wished it was stronger.
Davine, the last person Zera expected to approach, did, and he also had a glass of wine in his hand.
Her heart skipped in panic, and she had no idea why, but there was something that left her weary at his closeness.
Aaron read every reaction her body gave, and she knew he might have a few questions at the end of the night, unless he shrugged it off.
“Mrs Hart.” Davine smiled.
“Mr Yate,” she answered, her tone flat and unfriendly.
“I saw you two over here and thought to say hello,” he said in a polite tone.
“Well, say it and leave,” she said harshly, and she felt Aaron’s grip tighten around her. He wasn’t being all mean, and when she turned to him, she saw his warm eyes. This was his way of telling her to be nice.
She was trying, but hostility always came at the sight of Davine.
“I see you’re still as hostile as ever, and it would make much sense to me if you told me what I did to deserve it. Perhaps then I’d understand.”
She stayed silent because she didn’t want to say anything that would come off as mean anymore. Davine’s eyes left hers and wandered to Aaron, who stood silently beside her. “You must be Aaron Hart. I am Davine Yates,” he said, stretching his hand out to Aaron for a formal shake.
Before she could speak and ask how he knew Aaron’s name, Aaron did. “I don’t remember us being introduced. How did you know my name?”
Davine nodded. “Yeah, we weren’t. I know your name because Ms. Raymond spoke about you earlier to a few professors, and I was one of them.” He answered in an awkward tone of voice.
Aaron took his hand and said, “I hope she spoke well about me.”
Davine chuckled and nodded. “Yeah, she said you were the biggest donor at the fund-raiser three years ago and have been a part of the committee for charity since then. It’s quite admirable.” He commended.
“Oh, thank you. I just do it because it’s the right thing to do.” Aaron answered, and if Zera didn’t know better, she would say he had made a new friend at the university.
She cleared her throat, and they released each other’s hands. Aaron wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to himself.
“Your husband has a very big heart.”
It’s not big enough to accommodate you, though; she wanted to bite out but bit down on her tongue to keep it in. Aaron must have read her mind and what was going on in there, because he chuckled and tightened his grip around her.
She forced a smile. “I will get one next time I go to the store,” she said sarcastically.
Davine turned to Aaron and nodded before taking his leave without another word.
“He doesn’t seem so bad,” Aaron muttered as they made their way out of the hall.
She scoffed, “That’s because he has bewitched you.”
That made him crack up. “You’re so protective, and that’s super hot sometimes,” he said, adding, “Your crankiness tonight is because you’re deficient in vitamin D.” He smirked, pushing her against the hood of their car.
She knew what the “vitamin D” was.
She wanted to roll her eyes and push him off, but her body lit up when his lips met her exposed collarbone, and he littered kisses there.
“And if there is anyone who has bewitched me, then it’s you,” he mumbled between kisses on her neck. “Your charms, your seduction, your eyes, and those eye rolls you do when things don’t go your way-you turn me on even without trying. That’s magic; you’re an enchantress!” The touch of his soft lips on her skin, accompanied by his words, sent tingles down her spine, and her legs grew weak. She arched into him, her breast pressed against his chest, her nipples hard and visible to anyone who wanted to see them.
He pulled back and stared into her eyes, his flaring with dark shades of red, hinting at his desires. “I don’t know if I’ll make it home in one piece, Zera.” He growled and captured her lips between his for a deep and hard kiss that knocked her breath away.
She couldn’t stop him. Usually she would keep them both in check, but now she wanted him, and it felt surreal. Then she remembered that there were both adults and children at the meet and mingle. The last thing she wanted was for a child to find them this way. Aaron didn’t think about that; he didn’t always think far, but she did.
She pulled back and stared into his eyes. “You will have to.”
They could have driven home, but they knew that would take much longer. So Aaron called Mattias, the beta in his pack whose first duties were to him, and told him to take charge of the car. He left the keys in it, and they raced home.
Sweaty and panting, they didn’t make it into their room before they began undoing each other’s clothes.
She grabbed his belt and quickly undid it before unbuttoning and unzipping his trousers while they were up the stairs.
This is crazy, she told herself as she reached in and slowly stroked him there.
He throbbed and grew in her hand, and she wanted him in her. She didn’t even care if they were still on the stairs; she just wanted to have him.
“Davine was right,” she said between sharp breaths.
He doesn’t stop kissing her but asks, “About what?”
“You’ve got a big heart,” she said, and a grin appeared on her face. “But your heart is not the only big part of you.” She pulled his cock out of his pants and touched him gently.
His lips met her neck, and she moaned and picked up the pace.
“I want to feel your walls around me, my love,” he moaned, kissing her lips.
“Not here,” she said, and summoning enough strength, she pulled him into the bedroom. As soon as they stepped in, he pushed her against the door and kissed her lips.
He turned her around so that her back faced him and kissed her neck down to her exposed back. He gathered her dress into his hands and moved her pants to the side before sliding into her with ease.
She moaned and arched into him to get more. He didn’t relent, ramming into her with speed and passion.
Moans and lust-fueled grunts filled the room, and thrust after thrust got them closer to the edge.
He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and picked up the pace, dragging her to the edge and pushing her off it. She saw stars as she reached her peak, calling his name and losing control of her legs. His breathing became frantic, and she knew he was drawing close.
“So close,” he moaned, pulling out of her to stroke himself.
He released his grip on her and turned around to face him. He was chasing his release with fast strokes and pumps. Something about watching him seek his own release made her jealous. The moans he made and the grunts he made while he touched himself didn’t help. It was her job to make him feel this good, and she didn’t feel right that he had to seek satisfaction from himself.
“Let me,” she said, reaching out to wrap her hand around him, and he glanced up at her with a narrowed gaze. “Let me give you your release.” She clarified, and he didn’t argue; his hand fell away, and hers replaced it.
He drew his bottom lips between his teeth, and the pleasure was visible on his face.
She high-fives herself, knowing she was responsible for it. She leaned in and kissed his lips tenderly before moving down his neck. He was a few seconds away, and she could tell.
“Cum for me now!” she commanded, and he did as he was told.
As he regained his strength, he kissed her lips again. He was right; the “vitamin D” was all she needed. Aaron, her love doctor, always gave it to her.
