Groaning, I turned on the bed, looking towards the clock by the bedside. It had been four days since I returned to their house, and they had yet to let me go. You would think it was a punishment for me, but that wasn’t the truth. It was a dream come true as I got to experience pleasure unlike anything else.
And the icing on top? I got a leave from work. The director was quick to give me a week off after he got a call from my lovers.
Yawning, I got down from the bed, wincing the moment my feet touched the ground. Now, that was the price I had to pay for what happened these past few days.
Limping, I strode into the bathroom to have my bath, knowing it was time for me to step out of the room and face reality. I had been in my fantasy world for over 24 hours. It was time to leave the room.
I soaked in the bath until the water ran cold before I got down from the tub, and took the black towel on the rack, trying not to think of how odd the brothers were. Most of the things they owned came in black.
After drying my body and putting on the gown Blue got the day before, I was ready to leave.
Though my thighs still hurt, I wasn’t leaping as much as I did before I had a bath. Smiling, I walked towards the door.
My lovers weren’t in the room, which meant they were either in the sitting room or the kitchen. Blue told me Fred was learning to cook. That was what kept him busy during the week I wasn’t with them.
Though I hadn’t tasted the meal he made, I was certain it would taste delicious. The amount of dedication he put into it – Blue informed me about it – I bet it would taste great. However, he was yet to allow us to taste his meal, claiming he wasn’t that perfect, and needed to make sure his food tasted wonderful before he allowed any of us to taste it.
Smiling at that, I exited the room, my gaze going towards their playroom. My cheeks turned a bright red at the thoughts of all that took place there. I bit my lower lip as I tore my gaze away from the door.
It wasn’t time to be thinking about their room. At the moment, I just wanted to get downstairs for dinner, since it was too late for lunch.
I had just taken a step forward when I heard voices. Puzzled at the unfamiliar voice, I tiptoed towards the stairs and looked down.
Blue and Fred stood with their backs towards the stairs, and their arms folded as they peered down at two men kneeling on the floor.
I frowned at that, wondering what was happening. Who are those men? Could they be the helpers Blue spoke about? Why were they kneeling?
“My kings, your servants are at fault,” one of them said, shivering in fear.
Kings?
I blinked, wondering if I heard right. Why did he call them that? Last I checked, they weren’t royalty. Otherwise, they would have told me about it.
“Oh? You know you are at fault, yet you show your stinking face to us?” Blue growled, his voice deeper than ever.
Goosebumps materialized on my skin at the sound. This was the first time I heard him use such a tone. His growls were nowhere near the darkness that was in his tone at his question.
“Pardon us, my kings!” The other one placed both of his hands on the ground and bowed, shivering in fear. “Please have mercy on us!” He cried out, sounding like someone kneeling in front of the grim Reaper, knowing it was over for him, but still asking for forgiveness.
“Pardon? What the hell do you mean by that?! The elders were causing a damned uproar, but you didn’t bloody tell us!” Fred roared.
My heart skipped at that. I would have screamed out in fear, but I closed my mouth before I could do that, shivering.
If I thought I had seen them in their worst state, it was nothing compared to what I was witnessing at the moment.
“Pardon us! Please spare our lives!” the first man cried out as he joined the second guy in bowing, with his hands in front of him.
“Pardon you?” Blue asked as he leaned down and took the man up.
My eyes widened when he raised the man with just one finger. Yup. You heard that right. The man I was referring to wasn’t a dwarf. He was freaking tall, with muscles and all that. Yet Blue raised him as if he weighed nothing.
I rubbed my eyes, blinking to be certain I wasn’t imagining anything. Blue sure as hell was holding him up with his index finger hooked on the man’s shirt.
“Please,” the man cried out, his eyes wide in fear. “Please, my king. Please!” He begged.
“Why? Do you know the fucking problem you caused?!” Blue growled. “There are fucking werewolves roaming around, stalking humans, all because of you!”
“Please!”
Werewolves? My ears rang as I looked around, to be certain there weren’t cameras anywhere. What the hell was going on here?
“What do you think, brother?” Blue asked Fred, still staring at the man he raised. “What punishment do you have in mind?”
“Others’ blood doesn’t do it for us anymore. There’s no need to suck him dry. His blood will only taste blank,” Fred replied, his voice as dark as Blue’s. “Let’s just get this sorted out before our bunny wakes.”
I watched in shock as he reached for the man Blue was holding. I didn’t know what I expected, but not that. He fucking snapped the man’s head off before I could place my head around it.
This time, I wasn’t able to hold my scream, not when he thrust his hand into the man’s chest and ripped his heart off.
“Bloody hell!” I screamed.
And when they turned, the world stood still. All the blood drained from my face when I beheld the true looks of my lovers.
“Beasts!” I screamed, drawing a step back as my body shivered in fear. My heart thumped loudly in my chest, like a pestle pounding on a mortar.
The men I thought I knew, the ones I had been with for over two months now, weren’t human. At least, no human would look like a monster.
Their fangs were elongated, and their eyes… Fucking hell. It seemed like I was staring into a bloody, dripping fire.
“Bunny,” Blue whispered as they fully turned.
And what did I do? I freaking took to my heels.
