“Kill!” Casey shouted as he charged forward, with the others following closely behind.
Just as the attack from the half-step Condensed Kun Realm elder was about to reach Harleen, a blade light flashed past him effortlessly. The elder looked down at the bloodline on his body, unable to utter a word before his body split in two and collapsed. To his despair, even his soul was crumbled. His soul was utterly annihilated.
“Elder Darion!” Korbin Savage cried out in pain after a moment of shock.
He then turned to Billy and roared, “You bastard, you truly deserve to die!”
“If you’re going to make a move, do it quickly. I don’t have time to waste with you,” Billy replied.
As he spoke, he glanced at the others to ensure they were safe, then refrained from further action.
“You dare kill someone from the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion? You have no idea what death means!” Korbin Savage’s expression twisted with rage.
“I promise you, from now on, you will find it impossible to take a single step in the eighth-tier star domain!”
He wanted to strike but lacked the courage. He knew well that if Billy could easily kill a half-step Condensed Kun Realm elder with one strike, he would stand no chance against him.
He finally believed the legends about Billy; he was indeed a monster capable of challenging realms beyond his own.
Since he couldn’t provoke him, he decided to retreat. Better to live another day and seek revenge later.
Though Billy’s combat power was terrifying, compared to the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion, he was still just an ant. There would be plenty of opportunities to settle this score in the future.
“Anytime,” Billy responded.
Billy was concerned about Sanaa’s safety and had no interest in entangling with the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion. Otherwise, given his nature, none of them would have survived.
As chaos erupted at the scene, a man from Zenith Sect swiftly darted into a nearby street. The ongoing melee provided him the perfect escape opportunity, which he intended to seize.
“Do you think you can get away?” A voice rang out behind him just as he had run less than a hundred meters.
A figure appeared not far ahead of him-it was Stout.
“Hmm?” The man was momentarily stunned.
“Considering you brought us to the eighth-tier star domain, Boss intended to spare your life,” Stout said again. “But unfortunately, you chose to court death yourself.”
Without waiting for a response, Stout continued, “Boss already guessed that you deliberately led us to the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion’s doorstep, hoping they would recognize him. Because if they did, they would certainly stop us, giving you a chance to escape.”
“Your plan was clever, but unfortunately, you outsmarted yourself and got yourself killed.”
Before Stout finished speaking, the man gathered all his strength into an imprint and hurled it at Stout with thunderous force.
Although he was only at the ninth-rank Returning Source Realm, he refused to sit and wait for death and decided to fight with all his might.
However, he soon despaired. Faced with his attack, Stout neither dodged nor countered; he simply let the imprint hit him. After a loud crash, Stout slid back a hundred meters but remained unscathed except for a slight disruption in his breath.
Stout was just one step away from breaking through to the Supreme Source Realm and was already two levels higher than his opponent. Coupled with his incredibly resilient body, there was no way the man could harm him.
“Hmm?” Seeing Stout unharmed after taking his full-strength attack, the man’s pupils contracted in fear. Without thinking further, he darted into an alley on the left.
But it was too late! A punch from Stout sent him flying into the air, shattering all his bones and meridians. His body fell lifelessly. His soul tried to escape into the sky but was quickly obliterated by a second punch from Stout.
As he drew his last breath, he regretted his cleverness that led to his demise.
After dealing with the man, Stout returned to the front of the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion where the battle had ceased.
“Boss, it’s done!” Stout reported to Billy.
“Good,” Billy nodded.
Stout had been watching the man from Zenith Sect on Billy’s orders. From the moment they were outside Star City’s gates, Billy had noticed something off about him.
When members of the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion appeared, Billy understood his intentions. Since the man had a death wish, he would grant it.
The woman from Zenith Sect opened her mouth as if to say something but then thought better of it.
“If you want revenge, feel free to come find me anytime. But next time, it won’t be so easy,” Billy said to Korbin Savage before leading his group away.
“We will meet again soon!” Korbin Savage called out coldly after Billy’s retreating figure, his face dark with anger. As a director of the Gathering of Immortals Pavilion, he had never been so humiliated, especially by a young man in the Supreme Source Realm. He would not rest until this insult was avenged.
Two quarters later, Billy and his group arrived at a modest estate under the woman’s guidance.
“This is your Zenith Sect branch in Star City?” Judge asked her.
“Yes,” she nodded.
“What are you doing here?” A guard at the gate began to question them but stopped midway when he recognized her. “Mia Harris? You returned from the seventh-tier star domain?”
“Call your branch leader out,” Stout instructed.
“Mia Harris, who are these people?” The guard ignored Stout and continued questioning her.
Before he could finish speaking, Ian Blade struck him down with a single palm strike, knocking him unconscious on the ground.
“Ian, we should talk sense into them instead…” Stout muttered with a slight twitch of his mouth.
“Courting death!” The other seven or eight guards roared in anger and charged at them.
“Ian, you handle this,” Stout said with a smirk.
Ian Blade stepped forward and after a series of thuds, all seven or eight guards were lying unconscious on the ground. Then Billy’s group strode into the estate.
Hearing the commotion, four or five hundred people surrounded them from all directions.
“Tired of living?” An elder at the forefront scanned Billy’s group before turning to Mia Harris. “Did you bring them here?”
“Mr. Townsend, they are…” Mia Harris began but was cut off as the elder struck out with a palm strike aimed at her. Even though it was only at seventy or eighty percent strength from his half-step Condensed Kun Realm level, it would be fatal if it hit her.
Sensing his killing intent, Mia Harris despaired knowing she couldn’t evade it. Just as his attack neared her, Harleen intercepted it with her own…
