Simon and his two companions formed a semicircle, raising their Angel Wands high above their heads. Their faces were devout, as if they were about to perform a monumental task.
Just as Leo was about to make a sarcastic remark, an ethereal chant began to resonate.
With the chanting, countless beams of Holy Light shot out from the three Angel Wands, creating a vast screen of light that filled the entire sky.
In Leo’s astonished gaze, a thunderous explosion suddenly erupted from the depths of the light screen at the zenith of the sky.
After the explosion, a radiant cloud churned above Leo’s head, rolling and surging. A group of holy figures appeared, riding on the luminous clouds.
Among them was a figure with bare feet and a magnificent robe, a halo above his head. His expression was serene yet majestic, his demeanor calm and sacred-it was the image of God.
Surrounding him were a host of pure and holy archangels. Their expressions were devout and solemn, with snow-white wings and various holy artifacts in their hands. They respectfully accompanied God, gazing down upon the earth.
“O merciful Lord, grant us the power to eradicate all evil in the world, Deity Extinction!”
With Simon’s shout, God and the archangels within the radiant clouds became enraged. They wielded their holy artifacts and directed a massive beam of light towards Leo.
In an instant, wind and thunder roared, and the enormous Holy Light emitted a scorching and terrifying energy. It seemed to condense the light of the entire universe, with a formidable momentum that threatened to incinerate Leo to ashes.
The Church’s forbidden technique was indeed powerful!
Leo reached out with his right hand, and the Dragon Sword appeared in his grasp. He let out a long roar and unleashed a stunning strike.
A crimson lightning bolt split the void, soaring upwards like a ferocious Red Dragon. Torrents of flames joyfully accompanied the Red Dragon, clawing and biting towards the Holy Light.
With a terrifying explosion, a massive crimson cloud mass erupted in the sky. Light and flames shot out in all directions, transforming into countless fiery meteors that fell towards the surrounding mountains and forests.
The power of the Dragon Sword was shattered by the formidable strike of the Holy Light, scattering into unknown directions.
In a flash, the unstoppable Holy Light surged forward.
A cold gleam flashed in Leo’s eyes. He formed a hand seal with his right hand and summoned a Talisman with his left. A massive shield appeared before him.
Crimson flames rapidly spewed out, covering the surface of the shield.
The next moment, the terrifying Holy Light beam struck the shield head-on.
After a brief resistance, a tremendous explosion shattered the shield into pieces.
Leo’s expression changed drastically as the scorching and violent light beam engulfed him in an instant.
Immediately, a series of continuous and violent explosions ensued. The sky churned with wind and clouds, rolling like a vast ocean.
Simon and his companions were overjoyed.
When everything cleared up, Leo’s figure was nowhere to be seen.
Could he have been obliterated by the Holy Light? Was it really that easy to end him?
Simon and his companions exchanged puzzled glances.
Deity Extinction was the Church’s most terrifying secret forbidden technique. Besides the pope, only Simon and his two companions could barely activate it using the Angel Wands’ power.
Its fearsome power was nearly invincible.
However, it was hard for Simon and his companions to believe that such an attack could have eliminated Leo so easily.
After all, Leo had defeated Cedric; he shouldn’t be so weak.
As the three old monks were still in doubt, they suddenly heard a loud shout from the ground: “You old men, I’m here!”
Simon and his companions looked towards the ground in surprise. On a shattered half-mountain stood a proud figure.
“He’s unharmed? How is that possible!?” Simon and his companions were shocked, their faces filled with disbelief.
If Deity Extinction couldn’t kill Leo, they were mentally prepared for that. But seeing Leo completely unscathed was something they couldn’t accept.
In fact, what Deity Extinction had struck was merely an illusion of Leo.
“Damn it! Let’s do it again!” Simon shouted angrily, looking at Stanley and Terrace.
The three immediately became solemn and began chanting loudly, preparing to unleash another Deity Extinction with their remaining strength.
This time, Leo wouldn’t foolishly wait for the attack to come. He instantly dove underground, causing a large explosion of rock fragments.
Under Simon and his companions’ astonished gazes, the ground shook violently as if an earthquake had occurred.
Then they saw a massive boulder rise from the ground, crashing towards them with a thunderous roar.
The boulder was as large as a small mountain. How much strength would it take to hurl it into the air!?
Simon shouted urgently: “Quickly, activate it again!”
In the sky, God and his angels wielded their holy artifacts once more, sending down another massive beam of light.
The enormous beam struck the colossal boulder with earth-shattering force, shattering it into pieces!
At that moment, Leo appeared like a ghost.
But he wasn’t on the ground; he was above the heads of the three old monks.
With a long roar, Leo unleashed terrifying flames that instantly covered the entire sky.
The overwhelming momentum of the flames frightened Simon and his companions out of their wits.
Two uses of Deity Extinction had nearly exhausted their Holy Power. Facing the flames made them feel powerless.
But surrendering was not an option. Simon roared: “Fight to the death!”
“Deity Extinction, third strike!”
The three old monks roared in unison. Spitting blood from their mouths, they overexerted their life force to launch a third Deity Extinction.
A powerful beam reappeared in the sky, its destructive power aimed fiercely at Leo, disregarding the flames entirely.
Leo gathered his spiritual power. While protecting himself with spiritual energy, he summoned Purple Radiance.
Purple Radiance transformed into a purple beam that clashed with the Holy Light beam.
No massive explosion occurred; both beams seemed to annihilate each other simultaneously.
The reason why this third Deity Extinction was so easily neutralized was that it was already at its limit, far less powerful than the first two strikes.
In Simon and his companions’ despairing expressions, the flames engulfed them like an ocean swallowing floating debris.
In the end, everything returned to dust and ashes.
On the battlefield below, during an unexpected fierce assault by orcs, the cult suffered heavy losses. Four of the weakest black-robed Archbishops died on the spot.
The remaining twenty were severely injured. Only Owen and two Cardinals remained largely unscathed due to their immense strength.
Seeing the cult members in tattered clothes and disarrayed states, members of the dark clan laughed triumphantly, making Owen and his companions’ faces turn pale with anger.
“To the skies! We’ll fight them to the death.” Owen roared. The surviving cult members ascended into the air, glaring at the Vampire Princes.
They had no choice; lurking orcs underground gave them significant psychological pressure.
Essex led White Robe Archpriests into flight. Together with vampire princes, they surrounded the cult members.
Orcs emerged from underground. Unable to fly well, they formed formations on land to assist in attacks.
