Hannah’s POV
Epilogue.
I sat outside at the picnic table with the gentle wind whipping through my hair. It felt wonderful.
Autumn was drawing close, and the leaves on the trees were already turning a beautiful orange.
I heard the giggles of children playing.
I smiled warmly.
My children.
Jasper ran around, and his little sister chased after him. Their delightful giggles filled the air and brought smiles to my face.
“Jasper, be careful. Your sister might not be able to keep you with you.”
He slowed down a little bit and his sister caught up with him. He embraced her and she smiled and played with his hair.
“Hello, beautiful.”
I felt two big, strong arms wrap around me, and I was enveloped with warmth and love.
I raised my head, and a kiss was gently planted on my lips.
Andre lowered himself beside me, and we watched our beautiful children prance around the garden.
“It’s getting a bit chilly. You should come inside.”
Andre ran his hand seductively over mine. I bit my lower lip and rolled my eyes at him.
“With the way you are going, we should be expecting baby number three on the way.”
He planted a kiss on my cheek.
“You make it sound like it’s a bad thing.”
He pulled me into his chest, and his musky perfume made me purr with delight. Now that I thought about it, a third baby was such a bad idea.
I rested my head on his chest, and we continued to watch out for beautiful kids, our pride and joy, bringing life to our garden.
“Do you have any regrets?”
“What?”
Andre’s question threw me off guard. I was stunned.
“Regrets about what?”
“About our son.”
I fell silent. I was thrown into deep thought.
Alvida had told me that no males were born into the Royal Solvan bloodline because they always turned out badly.
I didn’t think much about it until I was stunned to find out that my first child was a boy.
His grey eyes mirrored his father’s, and his smile was beautiful and innocent when he was born. My eyes searched his soul and I couldn’t find any evil in him.
He was the perfect child.
“Just because he is a baby doesn’t mean that he can’t show signs of an evil child later in his life. If you choose to keep him alive, it is a risk that you chose to take on.”
Those were Alvida’s words. Andre and I didn’t even think it over. He wasn’t going to kill our child, and neither was I. He was the perfect boy. Who was I to destroy a gift that the Goddess had given us?
“I do think about the things that Alvida said. If I say that I haven’t, I’d be lying. It worries me every now and then, but Jasper has shown promise. He is a wonderful child who loves his sister very much.”
We watched him zoom around the garden while his sister watched in delight.
“Your scent is stronger in him, you know. He takes after you. Strong, energetic…stubborn.”
Andre looked at me as if I had just accused him of a crime. I laughed and rested my head on his shoulder.
“I’m not stubborn,” he said with a huff and a smile.
I raked his hair.
“You never agree that you are. That’s your problem.”
He chuckled and planted a lot of kisses on my head. It soon began to tickle. My inner child burst forth, and I giggled, almost like our daughter.
Andre smirked.
“I thought our daughter’s laugh sounded familiar. Maria is lucky to have you as a mother.”
We turned to our beautiful children and saw that Maria’s smile had faded, and she was grabbing her finger in pain.
I was about to dash to her, but Andre grabbed me and held me back.
“Wait. Look.”
We watched Jasper go over to her and inspect her finger.
“It’s just a cut from a blade of grass. You will be fine. Papa said that injuries heal really quickly.”
The tension on Maria’s face gradually disappeared, and she was happy and jolly again. Her cut had healed up, and her brother kissed her formally injured finger.
I felt my heart swell with pride. Tears came to my eyes as I sat back down.
Andre drew me close. I couldn’t help the tears. I loved them so much.
“My kids have the most amazing mother. You have no idea how proud I am of you, Olivia. I’m glad that I waited for you for all those years.”
I smiled.
“I noticed that Jasper has your mannerisms.”
Andre grinned and looked at me as if he didn’t know what I was talking about.
“Really? Enlighten me,” he said with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes and slapped his arm lightly.
“Who else do I know that would kiss an injured finger like that?”
“Maybe he watches Daddy make mummy feel good.”
My cheeks filled with color. I was horrified
“We should really lock our doors at night.”
“Mum! Dad!”
The kids came running to us with grins on their faces. Jasper was first, and Maria crashed into me as she was already exhausted.
I picked her up, and she rested her head on my bosom.
“Exhausted already?” I teased. “I thought you two were going to wait for Aunt Sephora and Uncle Pierre.”
As soon as I mentioned their names, my kids sprung back to life.
“Aunt Sephora is so cool. I want to be just like her when I grow up.”
I picked Jasper up, and he nuzzled in my chest as well. Andre was impressed by my strength and gave me a wink.
I chuckled and turned back to the kids.
“Well, we need to get clean and well-rested. You won’t be able to keep up with Aunt Sephora if you are all tried and sluggish.”
“But we’re not tired yet, Mom. Right, Maria?”
Maria always agreed with her brother and gave a fast nod.
I could do nothing but smile.
I had everything. A perfect life, a perfect mate, and two beautiful kids. They were my all, and I wasn’t going to let anyone or anything take them from me.
“Well, let’s get you two cleaned up first. You’re both filthy.”
We all went inside, and Andre seized the opportunity to spank my butt.
We were probably going to make our third baby tonight.
