Andre’s POV
“I’m so sorry to interrupt your brooding, but the men and I are ready to leave, and we are awaiting your final orders.”
“Good,” I said, nodding my head slowly. “The men will have to wait a little longer. I am still waiting for a call and additional reinforcements.”
Pierre took a step forward and gave a sigh.
“Also, we found an update concerning Olivia’s father. Would you like to look at it?”
I whipped my head around and glared daggers at Pierre.
“I am not concerned about Olivia’s father at this point. Nothing right now matters more to me than my woman’s life. The update can wait; Olivia can’t.”
My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I took it out immediately and saw the name scrawled across the screen. Finally, he called back. It was about time. Relief washed over me, and I answered the call.
“Hello?”
“Alpha Andre, my men are ready. When do we move out? I’m a little agitated if I do say so myself.”
I raised an eyebrow.
“You’re coming with them? I thought…”
The man laughed.
“No, no, no. I’m just eager for the stories that come with adventures. My men will relay it to me when they get back. I just want to know how soon they will be moving out.”
I grunted.
“We are moving out stealthily. I do not want an open confrontation. I don’t want to draw too much attention to myself, and I want to lure him out of his facade.”
“Honestly, I think you’ve got a little soft, Alpha Andre. I was hoping for a little tussle. But anyway, I have sent you the hidden floor plan, and we are certain that the Luna is down there in one of the cells.”
“Thank you,” I said with a soft sigh. “I didn’t expect you to come through for me like this.”
“You seem to underestimate me, Alpha Andre. I might be a little older than you, but I assure you, I haven’t gotten soft. I have also sent about fifty of my men to aid you. They should be coming any moment from now. They’re looking for action, Andre. Be sure to give it to them.”
I gave a little chuckle, and the line went dead.
I stuffed my phone back into my pocket and opened my laptop.
I began searching the email and finally found the hidden floor plan that I was sent. I perused it and also found the coordinates for Olivia’s last scene location. If everything went according to plan, she should still be there.
Pierre also looked at the floor plan, and he nodded his head in satisfaction.
“It seemed like your friend really came through for you. With this, we have enough evidence to pin Jonas for her kidnap. That bastard is going to have the shock of his life.”
As Pierce spoke, my mind drifted to Olivia. She had been there for two days now, and I was worried sick. Had she eaten? Had she had anything to drink? What were they doing to her? Was she even still alive? What if they had…
No, no, no. I couldn’t think like that.
My worry intensified every second. I could only imagine the horrors and torture that she was going through. It nearly broke my resolve. I only hoped that she and the baby were alright.
But if they had even laid a finger on a single strand of her hair, I was going to rain down hell.
I banged my fist lightly on the desk.
No. I couldn’t lose her and my child. She was everything I had, and I wasn’t going to give up now. I would never give up.
Pierre soon broke my train of thought.
“Jonas and his family refused to open the front door for us but we don’t have to worry about that. There’s a secret back entrance. We can come in through there and then make our way down to the lower cells. I expect it to be heavily guarded; Jonas seems very protective of this place, so I wouldn’t be surprised. After all, it is a ‘secret’ inner sector.”
“And what if Jonas finds out that we infiltrated the place? And what’s what they said was true? What if there are dire consequences for non-members of the pack who venture inside there?”
I rolled my eyes and shook my head slowly. Did Pierre really believe that preposterous story that they told? Waa he that gullible?
“They dragged Olivia down into that room. She isn’t a member of the pack. If they really believed in the dire consequences, they wouldn’t have taken her there. It was just a story to keep us from going in there. Mysterious consequences or not, I am going to get my woman.”
“And what about Jonas? I am certain that he’s going to come after us. We are going to meet a lot of resistance.”
“He can come from me for all I care. The sooner he blows his cover, the sooner all this will be over for us, and we can leave this wretched place. Seeing him and his family makes me uncomfortable. My patience for them is running out. His little sister seems to be the only sensible person there.”
I immediately forwarded the floor plan with the outlined route that we would take to all the men who were going with me. Jonas was going to get the shock of his life. It would be in his best interest that he confessed and let Olivia go.
“Alright, they’ve all gotten it. Let’s head out; Olivia is waiting…”
