Chapter 682 – Boatman with a Tear Mole by the Lake

Book:The Psychotic Girl's Revenge Published:2024-11-19

Tear mole? Middle-aged man?
How could Blanca know someone when the Davis family has been avoiding the world for so long?
Paige looked at the message and replied.
[Little Stepford Wife: Who?
[Bossy: I don’t know. You take off your earrings so I can look at you first.]
“…”
That was quite the bossy comment.
Paige takes off her earrings, holds them up to herself, thinks about disliking them too close and puts them farther away.
This was about right.
She smiled and waved her hand at the earring.
The cell phone vibrated and she picked it up to look at it.
[Bossy President: why is your face so white, what did he do to you? Are you hurt?”]
Seeing this, Paige looks at herself in the mirror, and sure enough, her face is white, and she replies by putting her earrings back on.
[Petite Petite: You’ve got your own filter on this camera, don’t you, I don’t think I’m white-faced. I’m not talking to you anymore, if I stay any longer, Jeremy is going to get suspicious].
After sending it, a voice over there pops up instantly.
Paige tapped it and opened it to her ear.
“Paige if you dare lie to me, come back and I’ll bust your ass!”
“…”
This man, addicted to spanking.
Paige silently turned her cell phone off and put it back, then ruffled her hair and washed her hands to leave the bathroom.
Once outside, Jeremy was standing across the street under a streetlight, looking at her with a grim face and scary eyes.
Paige walked calmly toward him.
“Taking so long?” Jeremy looked at her skeptically and handed her the brooch again.
“What can I do when I’m out of breath from washing my hands.” Paige replied calmly, pinning the brooch back on.
Jeremy, naturally aware of the power of his medication, grunted coldly and said nothing more, leading her onward, saying as she walked, “Don’t start a fight with the the Davis family when you get inside.”
“I have no grudge against THE Davis FAMILY people, there’s nothing to start a conflict with.”
Paige slowly followed him and suddenly asked again, “the Davis family avoids the world and has to rely on tokens to get in, so how did you and Enrico’s mother meet?”
“You ask too many questions.”
Jeremy didn’t even want to answer her.
Paige didn’t ask any more questions, just followed him quietly, and after a long walk along the road, Jeremy suddenly stopped and pointed into the distance, “Go there and take a boat ride, and let the boatman drive you to THE Davis family.”
More boat rides?
Paige looked in the direction he was pointing, and saw a small boat resting quietly by the side of a vast lake.
Jeremy pulled out a couple bills and offered them to her.
Paige glanced at him, took the bills and continued on her way.
Only to see the lake side of the flowers and grass, there is almost no trace of people walking past, obviously few people will come to this side of the boat, this fishing boat will not be a waste of it.
Paige thought, walking closer and closer to the lake, she realized that the fishing boat is not only not abandoned, there is really a boatman on board.
The boat was an automated fishing boat, not very clean, with thick nets piled up and a bunch of empty bottles of spirits.
The man was just lying on the boat resting with his hands against the back of his head, a visor clasped over his face, and his black clothes were dusty everywhere, looking very down and out and disheveled.
“Hello, I’m taking the boat.” Paige approached, uttering a soft shout.
The boatman wasn’t dead asleep, and when he heard her voice, he took off his visor and sat up from the boat with a jerk.
It seemed he knew some kung fu.
Paige stood at the edge of the lake and watched him as the boatman pulled his hat back on his head and sat up in the boat and turned around, the lowered brim of his hat blocking his eyes and revealing half of the same bearded face as Uncle Artie.
But the man’s beard wasn’t as smooth as Uncle Artie’s, it was just full of disheveled stubble that looked awful.
“Miss, this is the boat that goes to the private mansion, to cruise the lake to the Ming Xin Bridge side.”
The boatman lazily said, his voice had the thick and coarse voice of a middle-aged man, but his bite was very clear, kind of like an announcer.
Paige observes him for a couple of moments, takes two more steps closer, and hands over the bill in her hand, “I know, I’m just going to the Davis family, please.”
Looking at the bill in her hand, the boatman sat there in a pause.
Just as Paige was beginning to wonder if Jeremy had given her a fake bill, the boatman finally reacted, he took off his hat from his head and looked up at her, “Miss is going to the the Davis family?”
An extremely flat tone of voice.
As if it carried no emotion.
“…”
Paige, however, froze, and she looked straight at him, the
The boatman had a head of hair so bad it hadn’t been cut or washed in I don’t know how long, stubble all over his face, and yet such an unkempt middle-aged man had very deep eyes, none of that long-time alcoholic shriveling, probably thanks to the fact that his eyes were all pitch black.
And just below his right eye was a tiny black mole.
“Miss is going to THE Davis family?”
The boatman asked again.
Paige looked back and calmly said, “Yes.”
The man Blanca was talking about was him?
Had this man been specially paid by Blanca to help her?
The boatman sat there, looking her up and down, “No outsiders allowed in THE Davis family.”
“It’s my business if I can get into THE Davis family, you just have to get me there.” Paige said all but continuing to hand over the money, “Is this business?”
The boatman scrutinized her a couple more times, then took the bills as soon as he could, casually rolled them up, and stuffed them into his fish scale-stained pocket.
“Thanks.”
Paige nodded at him and lifted her leg onto the boat.
As soon as she got close, she smelled the strong odor of alcohol and fish, so strong it was sickening.
The boat stopped on the water, Paige was drugged and not as fit as she usually was, and once she was on the boat, she was filled with the unpleasant smells, which washed over her brain, and when the boat shifted under her feet, she fell unsteadily downward.
There was no pain as expected.
A slightly rough hand held her up.
Paige turned her head, and met the sight of the boatman, who looked at her with a look of disgust, “Miss, this boat of mine is expensive, if you’re seasick, go down, don’t vomit on me.”
Paige tries to stabilize her heartbeat, looks at the dirty fishing boat and reveals him, “You’re too lazy to clean it, right?”
Where was the gold in this boat.
She couldn’t even find a place to sit.
She reached out toward him, “Got any paper?”
Seeing this, the boatman snorted and pulled back the fishing net, pulling out half a packet of paper towels from underneath and tossing it to her, “Really sophisticated, from the city?”
“…”
The paper smelled like fish.
Paige forces herself to hold back the discomfort and wipes out a spot with the paper towel to sit on, and when she sits down, one is finally comfortable.
She looked to the boatman, “You may sail.”
“Oh.”
The boatman then slowly stood up, walked over to the steering wheel, and reached out to start it.
“Duk-duk-duk-woo-”
“Duk duk duk woo-”
The ignition clicked halfway, and the boat shook and shuddered, then returned to calm, not driving half a meter.
“…”
Paige was a bit speechless, this boat is how many years it must be ah, do not wash and do not maintain it?
Not waiting for her to question, the boatman had already picked up a pole out of habit and stood up, the pole tugged and tugged and tugged again and again, turning it into a long pole several meters long.
The boatman propped the long pole towards the lake and rowed the boat manually with ease.
“…”
Paige watched the maneuver in silence, completely losing her ability to speak.
