Adrian chuckled, “Then I’ll speak with the boss as soon as possible!”
After saying this, he handed over another parchment bag, “Oh, take a look at this! This contains performance data from other companies that had previously processed agricultural products. You can see this sector is very promising. Helping farmers is currently a national priority, and many things can easily get the green light, if you know what I mean.”
She understood! How could she not? As long as those above gave their approval, many things were easy to handle.
Mainly because the weather could change in an instant; she feared that what was sunny a moment ago could turn gloomy the next. Who would bear the responsibility then? “Hmm, I’ll take a good look! Eastsun Corporation also values this sector, which is why we wanted to join this project.”
As their first meeting came to an end, Rosalind prepared to leave. Suddenly, Adrian spoke from behind her, “Didn’t Miss Ruell just say she planned to invite me to dinner?”
“…”
Having said that, what could Rosalind add? “Oh my, look at me! I was so focused on getting back to review the materials that I forgot all about it! What would Mr. Wong like to eat? It’s my treat.”
“You’re in Jingtown, and you think I’d let you pay? I just thought it would be good to foster more of a connection since we’ll be working together in the future!”
Rosalind didn’t reveal that she was just there to perform due diligence. She was afraid that it might seem like Eastsun Corporation wasn’t showing enough commitment.
“I insisted on treating this time, next time it’s your turn!”
After saying this, Rosalind called Natalie and Brandon, telling them to go directly to the restaurant, “I’ll introduce you to my two assistants.”
“Sure!”
Adrian agreed without any objections.
“Later, my boss might come over; he’s currently in a meeting. He told me to keep you here so he could meet you once he’s free.”
Rosalind wasn’t afraid of crowds, only the lack of them. Meeting Zenith’s boss could also give her a chance to gauge their intentions.
“That would be an honor!”

In the hotel, only the living room light was on in the presidential suite. The computer screen displayed a video conference with W Group, but Ulric, the president, couldn’t focus on his work. His dark eyes occasionally glanced at the phone set aside.
“Mr. Walters, the growth figures for the new quarter are very pleasing,” the shareholders said with uplifted tones.
Ulric nodded slightly, showing little joy. The shareholders couldn’t guess Ulric’s thoughts and moderated their enthusiasm, “So, what’s next, Mr. Walters? Are you considering expanding into Scandinavia? The market there is still open.”
“Let someone check it out first. Without at least a 70% certainty, don’t rush into it,” Ulric replied, which made all the shareholders nod in agreement. Just as Ulric was about to speak again, his phone screen lit up! The next second, Ulric coughed lightly and said, “Let’s call it a day. Dismissed.”
The shareholders looked at each other, but with the president having spoken, what could they say? Exiting the company software, Ulric immediately picked up his phone to return the call.
“Mr. Walters, I checked Eastsun Corporation’s recent projects. Apart from the resort development in Wayer City, they have a few real estate projects-”
“What projects do they have in Jingtown?”
Ulric interrupted in a low voice. Cedric paused for a second, “Let me see… Ah, there’s a deep processing project for agricultural by-products, in collaboration with Zenith, though not yet signed. The investment is not large, under fifty million! Are you interested in this project?”
