The rest of the task was simple.
After Billy and his group entered the city, some people still attempted a final struggle.
However, with their combined strength, they were no match for Dark Puppet, Purple Spirit, and White Feather, let alone Billy and Sanaa who had regained some of their power.
In about a quarter of an hour, half of the people were dead or injured, and the rest were completely subdued, begging for mercy on their knees.
Two hours later, Billy emerged from the transmission channel on White Feather’s back.
Everyone else, including Sanaa, entered the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space to heal their wounds.
Billy’s injuries had mostly healed after a few hours of recuperation with the help of his bloodline power. White Feather had only suffered minor injuries and recovered easily.
During these two hours, Stout didn’t even take care of his own injuries. He led Judge and others to search every corner of the Heaven Alliance headquarters.
They filled storage rings with items from two enormous warehouses, making Stout laugh so hard he almost choked.
The warehouses were indeed filled with countless treasures! Spirit Fruits, elixirs, beast cores, herbs, weapons, techniques, teleportation stones-everything one could imagine! The resources they acquired this time would last them a long while.
Billy did not kill off the remaining members of the Heaven Alliance. Those people no longer posed a significant threat to him, so he couldn’t be bothered.
As for David Roth, his dantian was destroyed, and he had lost the will to live. Sanaa gave him a swift end.
With that, the Heaven Alliance was essentially finished! Even though there was still a group at Boundary River, once they heard the news from here, their morale would collapse.
Back at Universe Palace, everyone, including Billy, went into seclusion. They all knew that The Hallowed Court would soon enter this star domain.
Without the Heaven Alliance’s restraint, they might become even more reckless. Moreover, with The Hallowed Court’s Young Lord killed, they wouldn’t let it go easily.
The urgent task was to quickly improve their strength.
Fortunately, they brought back a large amount of cultivation resources from the Heaven Alliance.
After a month, everyone’s cultivation level had significantly improved. Billy, Harleen, and Opal all advanced to ninth-rank Returning Source Realm!
Ivy and Amber reached eighth-rank Returning Source Realm, while Casey and Stout advanced three minor levels to fifth-rank Returning Source Realm!
During this month, everyone faced Thunder Tribulation and broke through to Returning Source Realm. Azure Dragon and Azure Fang advanced to third-rank Returning Source Realm, while White Tiger and Vermilion Bird reached first-rank Returning Source Realm.
Sanaa and Jennifer’s injuries also healed quickly within this month. Jennifer’s power recovered to late-stage Supreme Source Realm.
As for Sanaa, even Billy didn’t know her exact level but estimated it to be at least first-rank Condensed Kun Realm.
White Feather and Purple Spirit’s combat power also improved significantly during this period. Especially White Feather; according to Jennifer, even she wasn’t confident in defeating White Feather now.
Besides improving their cultivation levels, everyone spent a lot of time honing their martial skills. After a month, they made considerable progress.
After coming out of seclusion, Sanaa brought some news. As expected, after the news from Heaven Alliance headquarters reached Boundary River, the Heaven Alliance forces there couldn’t hold out for ten days before being completely defeated by The Hallowed Court.
With that, the Heaven Alliance was entirely driven out of this star domain! Meanwhile, The Hallowed Court crossed Boundary River and officially entered the seventh-tier star domain Upper Realm!
One day, while Billy and his group were chatting in the courtyard square, Sanaa approached them.
“Miss Sanaa, any movements from The Hallowed Court recently?” Ivy asked.
“Quite a few!” Sanaa nodded. “Ten days ago, they sent invitations to all first-class and super first-class forces!”
“Invitations?” Everyone was puzzled.
“Yes,” Ivy nodded. “They invited the leaders of these forces to Decadent City for an alliance conference to discuss the future governance of the seventh-tier star domain. The conference is scheduled for five days from now.”
“An alliance conference?” Azure Dragon frowned slightly. “Are they trying to become the rulers of the seventh-tier star domain like the Heaven Alliance?”
“Even more ambitious than that!” Sanaa responded.
“What do you mean?” Everyone was confused again.
“The Heaven Alliance merely considered themselves managers of the seventh-tier star domain, mainly maintaining order without interfering too much in internal affairs.” Sanaa explained. “But The Hallowed Court learned from past events and clearly has bigger ambitions.”
“Judging by various signs, they likely want all other forces to become their vassals.”
“In other words, The Hallowed Court’s goal is to have only one force and one voice in the seventh-tier star domain!”
“That’s quite ambitious!” Azure Dragon and White Tiger remarked simultaneously.
“But won’t other forces resist?” Judge pondered aloud.
“Whether they want to or not, once they reach Decadent City, many things will be out of their control!” Casey speculated.
“True!” Judge nodded.
“I guess many won’t attend the conference?” Soul Chaser suggested.
“From what we know, nearly sixty percent of the forces have already arrived in Decadent City, mostly led by their leaders!” Sanaa continued. “By all indications, at least ninety percent will attend the conference.”
“So many?” Soul Chaser was surprised. “Why are they so eager?”
“Partly because they don’t want to offend The Hallowed Court. After all, they’re only discussing governance plans and not declaring dominance.” Sanaa explained further. “Also, these forces want to see what plans The Hallowed Court has.”
Before anyone could respond, she added another crucial point: “And there’s another major reason!”
“What reason?” White Tiger and others asked simultaneously.
“A so-called rumor likely spread by The Hallowed Court.” Sanaa replied. “It claims that The Hallowed Court has obtained Kash Harmon’s Heaven Book and will reveal it at the alliance conference for everyone to study together!”
“This alone is enough to attract most people!”
“Is that even possible?” Everyone was stunned again.
“Miss Sanaa, did Universe Palace receive an invitation?” Billy asked Sanaa.
“Yes!” Sanaa nodded. “What’s your plan?”
“They’re holding this conference partly to deal with me!” Billy smiled faintly. “In that case, I might as well join in on the fun!”
He had guessed as much! The Hallowed Court’s first step was to control all forces in the seventh-tier star domain; their second step would undoubtedly be to come after him!
“Boss, are you really going?” Stout looked at Billy. “If The Hallowed Court incites everyone to demand the Heaven Book from you, won’t that be troublesome?”
“Not going would bring more trouble!” Ivy interjected. “Billy not only has the Heaven Book and Nine Dragons Cauldron but also killed The Hallowed Court’s Young Lord!”
“Once they control all forces, they’ll come after Billy!”
“So we must stop them from controlling other forces to reduce our pressure!”
