Purple Spirit had been helping Opal’s people fend off the Heaven Alliance. By now, the enemy was at their breaking point. Just as she was about to assist White Feather, she sensed that Billy was severely injured and rushed over quickly.
Her body had long been fused with Billy’s, so they could sense each other’s conditions.
Jordon Ponce was caught off guard by Purple Spirit’s sudden appearance. He reacted a moment too late and was slashed across the waist, blood gushing out. Before he could catch his breath, Dark Puppet struck him again, sending him flying and spitting blood into the air, his face paling.
Despite all his calculations, he had miscalculated!
He exhaled heavily and turned to flee, knowing that staying would mean certain death.
But Billy wasn’t about to let him go! With a narrowed gaze, he sent Dark Puppet after Jordon Ponce, with Purple Spirit following closely behind.
“Miss Sanaa, you rest here. I’ll check on things,” Billy said to Sanaa.
“Go ahead, I’m fine,” Sanaa nodded. “Since we’ve started, let’s finish it. Letting him escape will only cause more trouble.”
“Understood,” Billy replied.
The outcome was predictable. In less than fifteen minutes, Purple Spirit’s sword pierced through Jordon Ponce’s heart, ending his life. His soul tried to escape but was quickly absorbed by Dark Puppet.
The Hallowed Court Young Lord had fallen!
The battle in the sky was also nearing its end. The Heaven Alliance’s elite forces were exhausted; many had fallen from the sky, and the remaining few were barely holding on.
Half of The Hallowed Court’s ten members had perished. Among them, one ninth-rank Supreme Source Realm and two eighth-rank Supreme Source Realm had fallen, leaving only one seventh-rank Supreme Source Realm fighter.
Universe Palace’s four elite fighters were also in dire straits, with only two still able to fight, but they wouldn’t last much longer.
After dealing with Jordon Ponce, Billy led Dark Puppet and Purple Spirit towards The Hallowed Court members.
The Heaven Alliance was no longer a threat; it was time to deal with The Hallowed Court.
“You killed the Young Lord?” an eighth-rank Supreme Source Realm elder shouted at Billy in anger. “You are dead…”
Before he could finish, Dark Puppet charged at him with such speed that he had no time to react. Already weakened, the elder’s body was destroyed upon impact, and his soul was quickly absorbed by Dark Puppet.
“Retreat!” the ninth-rank Supreme Source Realm elder ordered, fleeing with the remaining two members. They knew staying meant certain death.
“Think you can escape?” Purple Spirit shouted as she and Dark Puppet gave chase.
“The leader has died! Run!” The remaining Heaven Alliance members scattered in panic.
David Roth was no exception. Battling White Feather had left him covered in wounds and devoid of fighting spirit. Hearing of his father’s fall, he fled for his life.
“Stop him!” Sanaa shouted, pointing at David Roth.
“Don’t worry, he won’t get away!” White Feather replied, chasing after him with Billy following closely behind.
The result was inevitable. Within minutes, David Roth was captured by White Feather and brought back, bleeding and despairing. He knew it was over for him and the Heaven Alliance.
After another ten minutes, the sky returned to calm. The Hallowed Court members were annihilated, and the remaining Heaven Alliance members either fled or returned to their base.
The battle had concluded!
It had been a brutal fight. Although Billy’s side had killed many from The Hallowed Court and Heaven Alliance, they were also on the brink of death. Apart from the two fallen Universe Palace elders, everyone else was severely injured, except for Dark Puppet and Purple Spirit.
Jennifer and Jamal Clarke were also covered in wounds.
“Miss Sanaa, what should we do with him?” Billy asked, pointing at David Roth after a brief rest.
“Did you ever think you’d end up like this?” Sanaa asked David Roth.
“You’ve made a grave mistake!” David Roth took a deep breath. “Do you think destroying the Heaven Alliance will bring peace to the seventh-tier star domain?”
“You don’t understand The Hallowed Court at all. Bringing them to the Upper Realm will only cause more suffering!”
“I know what The Hallowed Court is like; you don’t need to worry,” Sanaa replied calmly.
“You’ll regret this!” David Roth said before exhaling deeply. “For old times’ sake, give me a quick death.”
His dantian and meridians were destroyed; he couldn’t even take his own life.
“So eager to die?” Sanaa asked. “Not so fast! First, take us to the Heaven Alliance base.”
“Do you really want to wipe us out?” David Roth asked after taking a deep breath.
“That depends on their choice,” Sanaa replied.
She then turned to Billy. “Let him lead the way!”
“Alright,” Billy nodded.
Knowing resistance was futile, David Roth cooperated and led them towards the Heaven Alliance base.
After about fifteen minutes, they arrived at a void thousands of miles away and stopped.
A black hole several kilometers in diameter lay a thousand meters ahead of them.
“What is that place?” Stout asked David Roth.
“The entrance to the Heaven Alliance teleportation channel,” David Roth replied.
“Is this entrance always open like this?” Stout asked again.
“Of course not,” David Roth shook his head. “The entrance is protected by a formation. Normally, you wouldn’t notice it even if you passed right by.”
“It’s open now because those who fled didn’t have time to close it.”
“Got it,” Stout shrugged.
“Let’s go,” Sanaa said, leading the group towards the black hole.
After about two minutes through the teleportation channel, they arrived in an alternate space with blue skies, white clouds, lakes, forests, and occasional flying creatures. Roars of beasts echoed from the surrounding forests.
In the distance stood a medium-sized city-the Heaven Alliance base.
Billy’s group landed in an open area in front of the city…
