“Cedric, give up!”
Amidst the blood-red sky, the giant wolf’s attacks grew even more ferocious and wild.
Gradually, the cross-shaped light shield became thinner and thinner, on the verge of breaking.
With a howl from Cedric, the light shield shattered, and the giant wolf’s immense power struck Cedric without any resistance.
Explosions erupted around Cedric, and he let out a pitiful scream.
In the air, the fire dragon roared mightily, swinging its powerful claws to shatter the power of the King’s Blade.
But it wasn’t over yet. After breaking the King’s Blade, the fire dragon let out a long cry and dove down towards Cedric.
Poor Cedric was engulfed by the overwhelming firepower.
The chaos in the air intensified, with Cedric at the center of a riotous blaze, shining brightly with chaotic light.
After more than ten seconds, the fire dragon dissipated.
Cedric was still standing in mid-air, but he looked extremely disheveled.
His clothes were almost completely torn apart, his face was ashen, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He could barely stand, hunched over pathetically.
The sheath of the King’s Blade was broken!
Leo laughed loudly, “Cedric, it’s a pity your sheath is broken.”
Cedric’s expression was one of desperate ferocity. “Do you think you’ve won?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” Leo replied confidently.
“Don’t be so smug. Even if I go to hell, I’ll take you with me.” Cedric’s face turned terrifyingly grim as he suddenly began to chant loudly, “Burn, blood of the gods. I pledge my life and loyalty to defend the glory of the gods.”
With his loud chant, Cedric gripped the King’s Blade tightly, and his entire body began to glow brilliantly. His darkened face turned resolute and fiercely courageous.
Leo sensed danger and rapidly increased his spiritual power, staying on high alert.
Cedric shouted, “Let’s destroy each other! Ultimate forbidden move: God’s Destruction!”
Cedric’s entire body ignited and disappeared into a rising white holy fire.
For a moment, Cedric and his King’s Blade seemed to transform into a blazing sun.
Cedric was burning his own life to make a final stand against Leo.
Leo was shocked. “Cedric, are you trying to kill yourself?”
“To kill you, any sacrifice is worth it. Come to hell with me!” Cedric roared and launched his final attack.
With a terrifying explosion, Cedric and the King’s Blade turned into a massive beam of light.
“This guy is insane,” Leo’s face changed dramatically. Since he couldn’t dodge, he had no choice but to face it head-on.
The Dragon Sword flew out of Leo’s hand, rapidly enlarging into a roaring fire dragon that charged at the terrifying beam of light.
With a loud bang, the beam of light tore through the blazing fire of the Dragon Sword, sending it flying who knows where.
Leo was stunned. Covered in cold sweat, he made one last effort, “Purple Radiance, Nine-Petal Ice-Soul Lotus!”
A purple light flashed…
An extremely cold chill spread out…
Purple Radiance tried to weaken the beam of light’s power.
Nine-Petal Ice-Soul Lotus tried to freeze the beam of light.
Just as the beam was about to hit Leo, a golden-bronze figure appeared in front of him.
On the ground below, members of the dark clan watching the battle in the sky screamed in terror, “Leader!”
The massive beam of light crashed down towards the ground.
“Quick, defend!” Essex reacted first and shrieked.
The dark clan members hurriedly raised their strongest protective shields.
Finally, the massive beam of light struck the mountain peak with an earth-shattering explosion, sending up a towering mushroom cloud.
Minutes later, as the aftermath of the explosion faded away, the mountain top was almost flattened.
Thick smoke filled the ruins, eerily silent as if everyone had vanished.
Suddenly, a blinding green light burst from the rubble, scattering debris everywhere and revealing Essex’s somewhat disheveled figure.
Immediately after, loud bangs echoed as one by one, dark clan members emerged from the rubble.
They looked disheveled and covered in dust, lacking any semblance of dignity.
Fortunately, aside from four orc leaders who died from knights’ last-ditch attacks, none of the dark clan members perished in the explosion.
They exchanged relieved glances, feeling fortunate.
After a brief rest, Prince Fred’s face changed as he shouted, “Oh no! Where’s our leader?”
The dark clan members remembered and Essex’s face changed. “Quickly, find our leader.”
“It seems our leader fell over there,” Prince Devon pointed urgently to the west.
The dark clan members rushed westward to search for Leo in the rubble.
Just as they began their search, a loud bang erupted from a large crater in the western ruins.
They rushed over and shouted joyfully, “Leader! You’re okay! That’s great!”
Leo climbed out of the rubble with a grimace, holding his waist and barely able to stand. He grumbled, “Cedric was crazy enough to self-destruct. Poor puppet general!”
At the last moment, Leo had summoned his puppet general for protection, saving himself from harm.
Unfortunately, the puppet general was severely damaged and would need extensive repairs back home.
“Thank Satan you’re okay,” Essex sighed in relief as his tense expression relaxed.
Leo laughed. “Cedric’s desperate power was terrifying, but luckily I have plenty of treasures. Aside from looking disheveled, I’m fine.”
“Heh heh heh, same here,” The dark clan members laughed too. They looked at each other and saw they were all equally disheveled.
“Cedric is dead. How did everyone else do?” Leo asked his disheveled subordinates.
“Leader, we all won! A complete victory,” Prince Fred said proudly.
“We orcs lost four leaders,” Eugene said sullenly.
“No other losses?” Leo shrugged. “That’s an acceptable price. Eugene, don’t worry. We’ll help you regain your strength.”
“Thank you, leader,” Eugene brightened up.
“Leader, we should leave quickly,” Essex suggested urgently.
Leo nodded. “Let’s go!”
That night in Dark Underground City, Leo enjoyed the vampires’ attentive service to his heart’s content.
“Leader, feeling good?” A vampire beauty gently massaged Leo’s temples with seductive eyes.
