Eugene was shocked and roared wildly, “Orc warriors, hold the line!”
Under the orcs’ desperate efforts, the electric net surged violently towards the Holy Light pillars once again.
A deafening explosion tore through the air as the six massive light pillars shattered the electric net. Amidst the chaotic light, the sky was filled with an eerie glow.
Eugene howled in fury, his face contorted. The six relentless Holy Light pillars descended from the heavens, crashing down on the orcs.
At the same time, realizing the dire situation, Zach and the others screamed, “Die, knights!”
Boom!
Another massive explosion sent debris flying and light cascading like a waterfall, engulfing the orcs in the Holy Light pillars.
With another thunderous blast, the knights were also consumed by a violent surge of dark magic.
Moments later, the battlefield fell silent.
In a huge crater, the figures of six knights had vanished, leaving only blood-stained fragments of their clothing and shattered sword pieces.
In another large crater, Eugene and six orc commanders were nowhere to be seen, buried under layers of charred earth.
“Could all the orcs be gone?” Zach’s face turned pale.
As the wizards’ hearts pounded with anxiety, a thick, muscular arm emerged from the scorched soil.
Then, with a burst of dust, Eugene’s battered figure appeared before the wizards.
The once-mighty Eugene had been blasted back to his human form.
Two more figures, Dwayne and Lidam, also emerged from the dust, covered in wounds and looking equally disheveled.
As for the other four commanders, there was no sign of them.
Eugene’s heart twisted with rage as he howled furiously, “Damn knights, I’ll skin you alive!”
“You won’t get the chance; they’re already ashes,” Zach said coldly.
The final battlefield.
Seeing the heavily injured but still standing Anchorites, Essex’s pupils narrowed.
Prince Fred sneered, “Anchorites, give up. You can’t win.”
“Yes, surrender now and spare yourselves some pain,” Prince Lance’s voice dripped with seductive power.
Ambrose, pale-faced, made a cross on his chest with unwavering devotion and determination. “No matter how evil our enemies are, we will fight to the end.”
“Very well. A tenacious enemy is worthy of respect,” Essex smiled leisurely. “But unfortunately, this time, you are doomed.”
Ambrose had long been prepared for death. He smiled calmly, “To die for our Lord is an honor. Vile creatures of darkness, even if we perish, you do not deserve to exist in this world.”
Essex’s anger flared. For centuries, the Church had hunted them as heretics, leading to countless dark wars and rivers of blood in the dark world.
“If you wish to die, so be it,” Essex gritted his teeth. “Vampire brothers, for centuries we’ve bled at the hands of the Church. Today, let’s reclaim some interest.”
Essex raised his hands to the night sky as a strange black fire erupted around him.
The black fire formed a massive storm that rushed towards the Anchorites with destructive fury.
Seeing Essex unleash his full power, the Thirteen Vampire Princes also unleashed their strongest attacks.
Ambrose laughed freely despite his injuries. “We are fearless warriors. Evil creatures of darkness, let’s perish together!”
The sky was filled with lightning and thunder as clouds roiled.
The Anchorites began chanting loudly with serene faces as a huge light shield surrounded them in preparation for their final stand.
Essex and the Thirteen Vampire Princes’ combined attack was overwhelming. The magical onslaught shattered the Anchorites’ defenses and engulfed them completely.
In less than ten seconds, the Anchorites vanished from this world.
But the battle wasn’t over yet.
Essex and the vampire princes looked up sharply.
From the depths of the sky descended thousands of massive iron chains burning with holy fire, like the wrathful thunderbolts of a god aimed at Essex and his companions.
The terrifying sense of danger made Essex and his allies shudder.
“Everyone be careful! If we withstand this attack, we win,” Essex shouted.
Essex raised his staff and shot out a burst of fierce black light.
The black light spun rapidly towards the sky, covering the thousands of holy fire chains.
The Thirteen Vampire Princes also launched their fierce counterattacks with all their might.
In the sky, chains intertwined with blood-red light and thunder rolled like an apocalyptic scene that left all dark clan spectators in awe.
The thousands of holy fire chains were finally intercepted by the Thirteen Vampire Princes’ efforts and exhausted their energy just a hundred meters above ground.
Though they had won, Essex and the vampire princes were drenched in cold sweat.
If their interception had been slightly weaker or slower, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
“Truly a tenacious opponent worthy of respect,” Essex sighed leisurely.
High above, Leo grunted as he was blasted away like a fiery comet.
Cedric didn’t fare much better. Though his sword sheath’s Holy Light barely withstood the explosive force, he was still sent flying backward by the shockwave.
Cedric spat blood onto his sword sheath as they both hovered in mid-air again.
“Good. You’ve gotten stronger,” Leo said coldly.
Cedric didn’t respond but quickly used his sword sheath to heal himself.
Once healed, Cedric said arrogantly, “Show me your strongest power.”
“Just what I intended,” Leo roared as he swung his Dragon Sword fiercely.
A terrifying stream of fire transformed into an invincible holy dragon that roared and lunged at Cedric with bared fangs and claws.
Cedric roared back and swung King’s Blade with all his might.
Leo’s face tensed as the holy dragon clashed with King’s Blade’s power in mid-air.
The sky exploded with dazzling fireworks as their powers collided and stalemated.
Leo shouted again, “Cedric, take this!”
Three talismans flew out as a blood-red light shot into the sky and transformed into countless giant blood wolves.
The wolves howled and charged at Cedric together.
Cedric’s heart skipped a beat as he roared and formed a cross-shaped light shield with Holy Light from his sword sheath.
The wolves relentlessly attacked the light shield with such ferocity that it trembled violently.
Cedric poured all his holy power into resisting but blood trickled from his mouth.
