As three powerful attacks closed in, Leo’s face turned grim.
Around him, the dark clan members felt the terrifying turbulence within the barrier, but their emotions were vastly different.
The orcs and wizards hoped to defeat Leo, while the vampires wished for his victory.
Essex, with a stern expression, suddenly smiled slightly. “Will there be a change in the future of the dark clan? I can’t wait to see.”
Leo instantly channeled all his spiritual power to its peak.
He then summoned another talisman, taking the stance of drawing a great bow.
A massive crimson bow shadow flickered amidst the blazing light, emitting a piercing sound that could shatter a thousand silver bottles.
Within the barrier, all the dark clan members’ eardrums were nearly deafened by the explosion, their faces filled with shock.
Three Crimson Arrows, blazing with intense light, shot out like lightning, creating sonic booms as they sped towards the attacks of the three high priests.
These three Crimson Arrows embodied all of Leo’s peak spiritual power-this was a do-or-die moment!
First to clash was High Priest Zach’s Flame Shock.
The Crimson Arrow and the giant spear collided fiercely, creating two enormous arcs of light at a ninety-degree angle, exploding like a nuclear blast.
In a stunning display of brilliance, both the Flame Shock and the Crimson Arrow shattered into pieces, forming a fireball that blazed like the sun.
Next was High Priest Jacques’ Hell Ice Pillar.
With a thunderous crash, the searing Crimson Arrow and the icy pillars exploded into a spectacular display of ice and fire, making the barrier a breathtaking scene of extremes.
After a brief standoff, another loud bang occurred as the Crimson Arrow plunged into the ice pillars and blizzard, shattering them into countless icy shards with its fiery force.
Finally came High Priest Saiya’s Netherworld Wolf.
The wolves’ fierce claws met the Crimson Arrow’s fiery wind and flames. With an earth-shattering roar and a chorus of mournful howls, they dissolved into blue light within the defiant red flames.
For a moment, as Leo’s and the three white-robed wizards’ attacks detonated, chaotic light filled the barrier. The ground shook, and waves of impact rolled like an overwhelming ocean, threatening to destroy everything.
“Not good, defend quickly!” Essex shrieked as he saw things spiraling out of control.
Seeing the situation deteriorate, Leo hastily summoned a defensive talisman.
The dark clan members were also in a panic, their expressions changing drastically as they summoned their strongest defenses against the overwhelming force surging towards them!
Within the barrier, thunder rumbled and the ground quaked. Multicolored lights shot in every direction, making it seem like the end of the world.
From time to time, low-ranking members of both the orc and wizard clans screamed as they were torn apart by the chaotic light, their blood staining the dome red.
Finally, even the massive barrier couldn’t withstand the tremendous shockwaves and shattered with a thunderous crash, revealing the grand conference hall once more.
Seeing that Dark City might be destroyed at any moment, Essex had no choice but to act with full force. “Dimensional Rift!”
A gigantic black hole suddenly appeared above the hall, its immense suction power unmatched.
The raging shockwaves in the hall were instantly drawn towards the black hole like birds returning to their nests, disappearing as if into an endless sea.
In just a blink of an eye, calm returned to the hall; the terrifying shockwaves vanished without a trace.
Essex’s face turned pale; neutralizing everything had nearly drained all his strength.
But Essex wasn’t the worst off-Zach and his two companions were in even worse shape.
The three of them slumped on the ground, coughing up blood and barely able to speak.
Without the orcs’ naturally robust bodies, wizards suffered far more grievously from injuries.
“Congratulations, Master, on your ultimate victory.” Prince Fred approached Leo and bowed respectfully.
“Congratulations, Master!” The other twelve vampire princes also offered their congratulations in unison.
Leo nodded slightly and turned his gaze to Essex, smiling as he asked, “Lord Essex, what is the outcome?”
“Mr. Bloomer, you have won.” Essex’s face had returned to normal. His eyes held not sadness but rather anticipation.
In Essex’s view, the stronger Leo was, the more likely he could defeat the pope.
If Leo could defeat the overwhelmingly powerful pope, having a human as their leader wasn’t out of the question.
Leo saw much information in Essex’s changing expression and said leisurely, “Since I have won, may I assume leadership of this term’s Dark Alliance?”
As soon as Leo spoke, all eyes in the hall turned to Essex.
At this moment, Essex’s choice would determine the future and fate of the dark clan.
Led by Eugene, three orc representatives slowly stood up. The three wizard representatives led by Zach were also helped to their feet by their companions.
Their expressions were calm; regardless of Essex’s decision, they would support it.
Making a decision wasn’t difficult. Essex looked at Leo with a slight smile and then bowed. “I hope time will prove my choice right. I, Essex, greet you as our new Dark Alliance leader!”
Essex’s gesture indicated he was stepping down from his position as leader of the Dark Alliance and submitting to Leo.
According to tradition, a retiring leader automatically becomes the chief elder of the Dark Alliance.
After Essex’s declaration, the vampires excitedly bowed to Leo. “The thirteen vampire princes greet our leader!”
Leo maintained his composed demeanor and nodded slightly before turning his gaze to the orcs and wizards.
At this moment, Leo exuded an air of authority and solemnity befitting a leader.
Under Leo’s gaze, High Priest Zach lowered his proud head. “Greetings to our new leader. We wizards pledge our sincere allegiance to you.”
“What’s your orcs’ opinion?”
Eugene looked directly at Leo and gave a thumbs-up. “Defeating six top-tier wizards and orcs single-handedly is unprecedented in Dark Alliance election history. Mr. Bloomer becoming our new leader-orc clan submits!”
Raising his head proudly, Eugene declared loudly in an oath-like tone, “We orcs pledge our allegiance to our new leader and will obey any command!”
As Eugene finished speaking, the other five commanders simultaneously performed their submission salute to Leo.
“Excellent. Since you have chosen me, I will repay you with glory and honor!” Leo’s eyes shone with unwavering confidence.
