Chapter 46
POV: Tamara Davis
Her heart was pounding so hard inside her chest like it was hurting her a bit but giving her a tickling sensation in return. She was totally nervous, but she was also excited to be with him.
Tamara remembered King Hades in her dreams before everything happened. And after her accident on that cliff some of her young memories visited her dreams.
Although, some of it was still unclear whether it was reality or just a pigment of her imagination, she didn’t know. All that was on her mind right now was the man in front of him walking proudly like he didn’t care about anyone in the place.
Tamara mentally let out a deep sigh as she took a glimpse at his road shoulders, then to his muscular broad back. His golden crown didn’t even falter in its place as he walked arrogantly with his head held so high.
His aura was a bit lighter at the moment but no one dared to great him or sort of.
Everything that was happening in her life right now was just too fast for her. Luckily, her wounds were already healed faster than she thought.
Until now, she still couldn’t believe that it happened just like that. She thought that it would take her some time to heal and visited her parents well, real parents at that.
But she was glad that she was already doing fine.
But then her real parents were in critical condition.
And Shahara…
She bit her lower lip as she thought of her. Shahara was still nowhere to be found. And that was making her heart clenched with intolerable pain making her wolf at bay. She needed to find out what had happened to her.
Maybe it was the perfect time for her to talk to the King himself now. She needed to know what the progress of her whereabouts were.
Tamara pursed her lips together as she thought of Shahara.
Maybe she also needed to talk to Prince Raven about it. She mentally said to herself.
Due to her deep thoughts, she didn’t realize that the king had already stopped his tracks and faced her.
Her breathing hitched as she bumped her face against his strong and broad chest. She was about to fall down, but the king’s reflexes were too fast that he caught her waist and pulled her towards him.
She swallowed hard as her mouth turned slightly agape letting her breathing take over in her mouth.
It was like volts of electricity were creeping into her entire system and giving her sensations that were foreign to her making her eyes slightly bulge.
Her light shaded brown eyes locked to his pitch-black ones which were now turning into a dark shade of gray.
It was so lovely and mesmerizing she mentally thought as she felt herself being lost in his serious gaze.
Tamara couldn’t believe how their faces were just a few inches from each other and her heart stared to pound hard and fast inside her chest.
Her cheeks turned pale pink as she thought of the King hearing the fast and loud beating of it well, she hoped not.
She saw his jaw clenched and his eyes dilated while staring at her intently as if he was suppressing unwanted thoughts inside her. Whatever it was whether it was about her or not, she clearly didn’t mind now.
All that was running into her mind was how he made her his dummy just by his glistening eyes.
She unconsciously raised her hand to reach his jaw, and he saw the King’s surprised expression, but he didn’t stop her making her more determined to touch him.
Tamara was beyond lost.
She knew that she was.
However, it was the kind of being lost, that was bringing her to the brim of both anxiety and anticipation.
There was a strong feeling that was burning inside her, and it was such far more intensifying as seconds passed them by keeping her inner wolf at bay and giving her multiple displays of fireworks around her.
Her breathing became unevenly fast as she held his face with her soft hands. It was firm and slightly tickling to her because of the growing whiskers on his face.
King Hades’ jaw moved as it clenched, and it made her flinch a bit but her hand remained on him.
That simple gesture already sent her various kinds of emotions that were tickling her stomach and making her toes curl involuntarily.
She knew that she wanted more and she could feel that the King shared the same feeling as hers.
Well, she deeply hoped, he was for he could truly hold his feelings remained unreadable, regardless of how affected she was now that they were this close.
But she was shaken by surprise when he moved his face closer to her that she could already smell his addicting mix of wood and forest scent. It was making her inner wolf growl in too much anticipation.
She clenched her jaw as she felt her canines slightly trying to free itself.
“What are you doing to me?” King Hades stated with his heavy breathing making her astonished as well as proud of herself, that she wasn’t indeed the only one being lost in their emotions.
She didn’t know that he was affected too much at the close distance that they had right now.
Tamara instinctively felt his grip tighten around her bringing her closer to him, as if there’s so much closer that they could have.
Her br3ast slightly pressing into his chest awakening every sense that were sleeping inside her. She growled as she felt her canines slowly bare in her mouth.
But her breathing hitched as she felt their clothes more offending to her she wanted more.
Tamara wanted to feel embarrassed at how her mind was running inside her, but she just couldn’t control it anymore.
All that she knew was she wanted more more of the King.
“And what are you doing to me, either?” She seductively replied causing the king to purse his lips and licked it using his tongue afterwards.
It was too sensual and too sexy that she unconsciously let out a soft groan making the king curse out loud, and she flinched a bit.
But before she could even react, the king let out a lowly small snarl, and without any more words or warning given by him, he tilted his head and moved his face closer to her so their lips would finally meet.
It was a feathery kiss like it was playfully teasing her.
Their lips touch a bit like a light smack, but too light and too electrifying for her to even thing straight.
Tamara gasped for the intensity it brought to her system with that simple gesture of his.
However, the King didn’t give her time to process the shocking emotions that he was giving her, he attacked her lips for a passionate kiss it was so passionate like there was no tomorrow anymore.
It was such a sweet kiss and she already had lost it.
She felt her world turned upside down like it was literally spinning inside her head. She was stunned as the king moved his lips and inserted his tongue inside her.
Her inner wolf growled because of the escalating and scorching feeling that he was giving her.
Tamara clenched her hands that were holding the King’s cape creating a tousled part of it.
She was breathing heavily, but she didn’t want to stop. She didn’t want to end these fiery emotions that wanted to explode inside her.
And as much as she wanted to deny it she just couldn’t, especially with the tickling sensation that was building inside her, inside her stomach and down to her very core.
She had never been kissed by anyone. She had never had a relationship. And she had never been attracted like this towards any opposite sex.
Tamara knew that it wasn’t just because she was destined to be the King’s mate the sacred emissary. But it was because she had been longing for this man.
The man that her young heart was longing to have since the very day that she had laid her eyes on him. From the very day that she had already known that he was so special. Since the very day that she discovered that she was meant to be with him making her fall for him more.
She reciprocated his intense kisses making him groan in frustration and already deepening their kisses.
King Hades was so lost like her.
And it made her anticipate more. It made her want more of him.
She wanted him.
Yes.
She was longing for him for a very long time now and she just didn’t want to stop now.
Not now.
King Hades moved his kisses to her jaw tickling her very soul. Then, towards her neck licking it and nibling it. She didn’t care whether it would leave her with his marks soon. She just lost her care already.
But they both suddenly stopped as their forehead creased. They knew that something was up. They knew that someone was watching them. They could smell whoever it was.
She saw that his eyes darkened as it turned its original color pitch black.
King Hades pursed his lips together as he moved his gaze at the particular side of the forest where she knew that he had also sensed it.
A particular smell that she couldn’t distinguish.
Someone was watching them from afar and its aura was darkened enough to taunt those who were near him, but the confusing thing was it could hide well.
The thing that was making her worried was whoever it was, it wasn’t a part of their pack nor any of the King’s men.
She had already been familiarized with those kinds of things. And she couldn’t deny the fact that her instincts were threatened about it.
Without a blink, the King looked at her with his fired up and furious eyes.
“Go back to the infirmary. Don’t argue or question me. Don’t be stubborn this time.” He seriously stated and gave her a warning look as if he was saying not to disobey him or else…
She swallowed hard, and before she could even say a word he already had vanished into thin air, leaving her with even no speck of dust at all.
Tamara blinked a few times as she stared towards where the King ran into.
For a few seconds, she instantly went towards the infirmary to alert the King’s men especially Arlan, who was already looking out for the King.
She wanted to go with him, but he warned her to stay.
Arlan reminded her that she was already the Luna Queen and she needed to follow the King’s orders. Besides, she must stay safe.
Tamara felt like she was totally worthless at that time but being stubborn to follow King Hades into the woods wasn’t a good choice to choose either.
She was nervous and worried. She didn’t know what the heck that was.
But there’s one thing that’s for sure it was screaming out of danger. And she didn’t like it one bit.

POV: Cessair Darkwood
“We are already doomed, Cessair. We need to move.” Lamina furiously stated.
Until now, she was still frantic about the result of the competition.
Well, he was, too. But he wouldn’t dare to put up his energy to worthless blabbering like his wife who was already walking back and forth in front of him.
“We must prepare, then.” His deep voice stopped her tracks and faced her with her surprised expression.
“Really?!” She felt like she was totally ecstatic about it.
Cessair boredly nodded his head as he stared at Lamina, sashaying her way towards the meeting room he guessed.
The moment the door was close, his clenched his jaw fiercely as he felt his canines bared.
He was already so close to the victory that he had been longing for for the last six decades.
But it all crumbled down just under his nose.
Cessair clenched his fist together.
He was left with no choice now. They were left with no choice.
They needed to move and fast. They needed to do their very last resort.
And he knew that whatever happened, they could be on the upper hand.
He smirked at his thoughts as he followed Lamina into the meeting room. He had been putting up to her for too long now. Maybe, it’s his time to rule and play the cards.
