Callie Pearce was equally shocked.
She was aware of the tragedy at Cloudgate Mountain and knew Flynn was involved.
Like Rose and the others, she believed that Flynn had contacted General Cruz.
Then General Cruz had approached Yves Yancey.
In the end, Yves Yancey killed thousands.
Unexpectedly, the horrific phenomena at Cloudgate Mountain were actually caused by Flynn!
How powerful must Flynn’s martial arts be?
Power that shakes the heavens! A figure of celestial might!
It appeared that Flynn’s role as the chief instructor of the Blade Special Forces was a blessing for the team, The Edge, and the Pearce family!
With him present, The Edge was invincible!
“Snap!”
General Cruz knelt on the ground, pleading with tears, “Mr. Clark, Devin Donovan deserves death for offending you, a thousand deaths wouldn’t be too harsh.”
“But his mother did a favor for the Brooks family, please show me some face and spare his life.”
Boom!
Devin Donovan finally understood General Cruz’s painstaking efforts.
He had offended Flynn, a colossal figure, and if left to Flynn’s mercy, he would surely be torn limb from limb, or even reduced to ashes.
Knowing this, General Cruz first broke Devin Donovan’s limbs to seal Flynn’s wrath.
Though now a cripple, Devin Donovan at least retained his life.
“Someone! Smash all these women’s teeth!”
At Devin Donovan’s command, his men grabbed the faces of several women, recklessly slapping them.
Slap, slap, slap!
The sound of slapping echoed through the woods, powerful enough to resonate through the forest and even cracking bones.
The influencers’ jaws were all broken!
Watching his women scream in agony, teeth flying, Devin Donovan was heartbroken.
Yet Devin Donovan knew that if he didn’t do this, their fate would be even worse.
After all, at Flynn’s level, his words were law.
“Mr. Clark, I was blind not to recognize Mount Tai, I was wrong.”
“If you spare my life, I’m willing to sell my properties and donate to society, then leave Niarak and never bother you again!”
“Oh, and about Jade Dragon Mountain, I’d like to offer it to you as a gift, please accept it! I was wrong…”
Devin Donovan lay prostrate on the ground, crying profusely and completely subdued.
The tyrant of Niarak, now like a chick drenched in rain for ten days, only wanted to live and dared not bully anyone again.
If Flynn spared him, he would do anything.
“Get up, what kind of sight is this for a God of War? Let them leave, they’re ruining my mood,” Flynn said, waving his hand dismissively.
Today was indeed a good day; he had received much news through Callie Pearce and discovered a spiritually rich treasure site.
General Cruz immediately thanked him, “Thank you, Mr. Clark, thank you!”
After getting up, he kicked Devin Donovan, shouting, “You scum, hurry up and scram!”
“Remember, draft the transfer contract for Jade Dragon Mountain right away and send it to Orco Real Estate, got it?”
Devin Donovan nodded hastily and left Jade Dragon Mountain with the help of his subordinates, looking half-dead.
It was even worse for Danna McGuire and the others.
Their teeth were forcibly broken, their jaws fractured, and nasal cartilage collapsed; no plastic surgery could save their appearance now.
Three offenses against Flynn, each time slapped in the face, totaling thousands of slaps.
Even an iron face couldn’t withstand it!
They would live the rest of their lives in regret.
Flynn sighed, somewhat speechless.
Devin Donovan went from a nobody to an underground boss with billions in assets, all thanks to a little help from the Brooks family.
In the end, they got into trouble, and for various reasons, their master had to come forward and save these beasts’ lives, which was also hateful.
Of course, Flynn didn’t need to give face to anyone.
But today, he was in a good mood and had accepted a favor, so he let it go.
After all, Devin Donovan was already a broken man, and Danna McGuire wasn’t worth mentioning, living as a monster was the best punishment for them.
“Boss, how did you become the chief instructor of the Blade Special Forces?” General Cruz asked with a smile, his gaze fixed on Callie Pearce, the implication clear.
No wonder the boss was unwilling to go to the cold regions of the west; surrounded by so many beauties, who would want to stay in such a harsh place?
“When are you and Yves Yancey leaving?” Flynn frowned slightly, his tone indifferent.
Flynn knew what General Cruz meant, but he couldn’t be bothered to chat or explain.
“There’s a gathering tomorrow, planning to go back in five days,” General Cruz replied.
Flynn frowned and said coldly, “Finish up and leave. I get annoyed just seeing you two!”
“Uh… okay!” General Cruz almost choked, having planned to invite Flynn for a drink tomorrow, not expecting such displeasure and urgency to send him away.
But there was no helping it, since he had brought Yves Yancey to Niarak.
Yves Yancey was like a sitting duck, and if Lyra Whitaker became suspicious, Flynn would be exposed.
Kendal Roy was hosting a banquet the day after tomorrow, with Flynn on the guest list; he might as well join the boss for a few drinks before setting off.
General Cruz left Jade Dragon Mountain, feeling somewhat forlorn.
Watching everything unfold, a storm surged in Callie Pearce’s beautiful eyes.
General Cruz was behaving like a child in front of Flynn?
And Flynn?
Younger than General Cruz by over a decade and without any official title, he still managed to intimidate him thoroughly!
It was utterly baffling!
“Montgomery Crane mentioned that all the major military zones are changing their chief instructors this year, do you know why?” Flynn asked.
Callie Pearce nodded, “The Imperial Center selects ten people every five years to enter Camp Auston.”
“Technically, next year should be the selection year, not sure why it was moved up.”
“So, each military zone wants their people to make the top ten, bringing out their best and appointing stronger chief instructors.”
“What is Camp Auston? Is it that impressive?” Flynn inquired.
“Very impressive, only the best of the best soldiers, the cream of the crop, get selected,” Callie Pearce explained.
“Camp Auston, a place countless men dream of.”
“The instructors there are of the caliber of military deities, having created numerous legends!”
Flynn nodded and said, “Only ten slots, right? Good! You go back and tell Brandon Pearce that I will visit The Edge Facility tomorrow, then pick ten people for special training!”
“Mr. Clark means…” Callie Pearce paused, her eyes shining like stars.
Flynn’s expression remained calm. “Right, since I’m coaching at The Edge, this year’s team first place and the top ten individuals will definitely be from The Edge.”
He spoke as if it were a matter of fact, his eyes unfluctuating.
Yet to Callie Pearce, these words were like a thunderclap, exploding in her mind and stirring up a tempest in her heart.
If this had been said yesterday, Callie Pearce might have believed it only 30%, considering the other zones were too formidable.
The chief instructors were formidable, and the students’ progress was frightening.
But after everything that had happened at Jade Dragon Mountain, Callie Pearce was filled with hope.
Perhaps under Flynn’s coaching, this wish might indeed come true.
By then, The Edge would be renowned nationwide, shocking all the military zone chiefs.
Flynn and Callie Pearce had not been strolling on the mountaintop for long when he received a call from Harriet Hamilton.
“Flynn, I’m hosting my birthday banquet at the Chateau Hotel tomorrow morning. Will you come?”
Hearing Molly’s hopeful words, Flynn’s eyes narrowed slightly, a trace of coldness crossing his face.
Zion was hosting the birthday banquet for Harriet Hamilton, where he would publicly acknowledge her as his daughter.
Then Harriet Hamilton would marry Stellan Wallace as a concubine on behalf of the Hussain family.
Since Flynn considered Harriet like a sister, he would naturally go.
Tomorrow, huh?
Good!
It was time to meet with Zion!
