“What would you like to drink?” the woman in the cheongsam asked.
“What do you have?” Stout inquired.
“Is this your first time here?” The woman paused.
“Yes!” Stout nodded.
“We have over a dozen different types of drinks, each priced differently,” the woman replied.
“What’s the price of the cheapest one?” Stout pressed.
“The cheapest is Cloudmist Tea, which costs one thousand-year Spirit Fruit per cup,” the woman explained.
“Are you robbing us?” Stout exclaimed. “A cup of tea for a thousand-year Spirit Fruit?”
“You must be joking!” The woman smiled. “Everything at Heaven’s Tea House is clearly priced. You have the freedom to choose.”
“And the most expensive one?” Billy asked.
“The most expensive is Lifespring Dew,” the woman replied with a smile. “It costs one hundred ten-thousand-year Spirit Fruits per cup.”
Stout was so shocked that tears welled up in his eyes.
Billy and his companions were also taken aback by the exorbitant prices.
“Give us each a cup of Cloudmist Tea,” Billy said.
Although he wasn’t short of ten-thousand-year Spirit Fruits, he saw no reason to be wasteful. Spending a hundred ten-thousand-year Spirit Fruits on a cup of tea seemed excessive.
“Very well!” The woman smiled again and asked, “Do you need anything else?”
“How much do you charge for information?” Ivy asked.
“The price varies depending on the type of information you seek,” the woman replied.
“I heard that as long as we can pay, you can find out anything?” Ivy continued.
“As far as I know, that’s true,” the woman nodded. “What information are you looking for?”
“Bring your manager here,” Casey said. “What we need to know is beyond your authority.”
“Can you give me a hint?” the woman asked.
“Heaven Alliance,” Billy said calmly.
“Heaven Alliance?” The woman was momentarily stunned.
“Yes,” Billy nodded.
“If you want information on Heaven Alliance, it won’t be cheap,” the woman warned.
“Go get someone. Price is not an issue,” Billy insisted.
“Please wait a moment,” the woman said, bowing before leaving.
“Billy, this place is not simple. There are at least four Supreme Source Realm experts here,” Harleen said after the woman left.
“Yes,” Billy nodded.
He had already scanned the entire building with his spiritual power upon entering. As Harleen mentioned, there were four Supreme Source Realm experts on the third floor, one of whom was at least fourth-rank Supreme Source Realm. Additionally, there were nearly ten late-stage Returning Source Realm practitioners. And this was just one branch of Heaven’s Tea House!
After a few minutes of idle chat, a waiter brought in five cups of Cloudmist Tea.
“This must be no ordinary tea,” Ivy remarked after taking a small sip.
“What do you mean?” Stout asked, puzzled. “Let me try!”
He downed his cup in one gulp.
Casey’s mouth twitched slightly. “Stout, this tea costs a thousand-year Spirit Fruit. You’re drinking it like regular tea…”
“You know, this tea is quite something!” Stout smacked his lips.
Billy and the others each took a sip and found it quite pleasant. The tea warmed their bodies, eventually gathering in their dantian, leaving them feeling refreshed and clear-headed. Clearly, this tea had significant benefits for martial artists.
This piqued their curiosity about the Lifespring Dew even more.
A few minutes later, they heard footsteps approaching. A tall woman appeared before them. She looked to be in her forties, with dignified features and an air of elegance despite her age.
“Sorry to keep you waiting,” she said, bowing slightly as she approached. Her gaze lingered on Billy for a moment before she spoke again.
“And you are?” Casey asked.
While Casey spoke, Billy assessed her cultivation level and narrowed his eyes slightly. She was a first-rank Supreme Source Realm practitioner.
“Allow me to introduce myself,” she said with a smile. “My name is Cheyanne Stark, and I’m the manager of this teahouse.”
Before Billy and his companions could respond, she continued with a smile. “I heard you’re looking for information on Heaven Alliance?”
“Are you willing to provide it?” Billy asked.
“If you don’t mind, could we discuss this in another room?” Cheyanne suggested.
“Sure,” Billy agreed.
Soon, Cheyanne led them to a private room.
“What should I call you?” she asked Billy after they were seated.
“You’ve probably already recognized me, haven’t you?” Billy replied calmly.
Cheyanne had indeed recognized him from the moment she saw him. Given that Heaven’s Tea House specialized in intelligence, it wasn’t surprising that she knew who he was. Even Yama King’s Palace had seen his portrait; Heaven’s Tea House certainly had as well.
“Mr. Billy, your reputation precedes you,” Cheyanne admitted without hesitation. “I’ve seen your portrait before.”
She couldn’t believe Billy would appear so openly here, seemingly unaware of the danger he was in. She had checked his cultivation level and found him to be only a half-step Returning Source Realm practitioner-a level far from impressive in the Upper Realm.
“You flatter me,” Billy said with a faint smile.
“It’s an honor to meet you in person,” Cheyanne continued. “I admire your courage in coming to the Upper Realm.”
“Mr. Billy, are you aware that many people covet your Nine Dragons Cauldron and Heaven Book?”
“Yes,” Billy nodded and smiled. “Is Heaven’s Tea House one of them?”
“You must be joking!” Cheyanne was momentarily taken aback but quickly responded. “We know our limits. Neither the Nine Dragons Cauldron nor the Heaven Book is something we can possess.”
“Even if we obtained them, it would only bring disaster upon us.”
“I was just joking,” Billy chuckled. “How much do you know about Heaven Alliance?”
“That depends on what aspect of Heaven Alliance you’re interested in,” Cheyanne replied.
“Heaven Alliance seems to have encountered some trouble recently,” Billy said calmly. “I want to know what happened specifically.”
“You must have just arrived in the Upper Realm. How do you know Heaven Alliance is in trouble?” Cheyanne asked, surprised.
“Your reaction suggests you know something,” Billy responded. “Name your price; the more detailed, the better.”
