Chapter 1716: Speaking with Strength

Seeing Leo’s resolute attitude, Prince Fred was at a loss for words.
After a brief silence, a vampire shouted, “How can noble vampires bow to a human? I don’t agree with having a human as our representative!”
Leo looked towards the voice and saw it was Prince Amos of The Sacs.
After Prince Amos spoke, the vampires began to voice their objections one after another.
With the crowd growing louder, they seemed to forget Leo’s formidable reputation.
“Everyone, shut up!” Leo roared.
His shout carried immense Spiritual Power, startling the vampires into silence.
“I just said, if anyone disagrees or has objections, they can challenge me. If I lose, I’ll leave immediately!” Leo’s powerful killing intent surged again.
Some of the weaker vampires were so overwhelmed by Leo’s killing intent that they could barely breathe.
Prince Fred felt utterly helpless and stammered, “Mr. Bloomer, you… you…”
Fred knew he couldn’t possibly defeat Leo, but he was also unwilling to submit.
Leo looked at Fred and smiled, “Prince Fred, House Lessane has already supported me. I think you should too, right?”
“I…” Fred didn’t know how to respond.
“Your Highness, no need to be shy. If you support me, just say it bravely,” Leo teased.
“No, no, I didn’t say I would support you,” Prince Fred quickly shook his head. As the leader of The Covenant, agreeing would likely get him scorned to death by other vampires.
Leo’s smile turned cold instantly, “What, Prince Fred, do you want to fight me?”
Prince Fred decided not to back down and said firmly, “For the dignity of vampires, if a fight is necessary, then let’s fight.”
“Very well. Anyone who isn’t afraid of death can come at me!” Leo said arrogantly.
“Prince Fred, let me teach him a lesson first!” A burly vampire duke stepped forward.
“Duke Ferdinand, don’t be rash!” Prince Devon stepped forward and addressed the vampires again, “For over a thousand years, we vampires have been oppressed and slaughtered by Ecclesia. This has always been our shame.”
“I believe that if anyone in this world can stand against the Pope, it’s Mr. Bloomer. Choosing such a powerful leader is not a disgrace.”
“Trust me, under Mr. Bloomer’s leadership, the dark world will defeat Ecclesia. Only with Mr. Bloomer can we wash away our shame!”
Devon’s words quieted the restless vampires.
If they could truly defeat Ecclesia, having an Atrarian lead the dark world wasn’t entirely unacceptable.
Duke Ferdinand scoffed dismissively, “The Pope is God’s representative on earth. Thinking a lowly human can defeat him is a joke!”
Clearly, Duke Ferdinand held deep contempt for humans.
Leo looked at Ferdinand and sneered, “You’re Duke Ferdinand, right? Since you don’t believe in me, I’ll send you to meet Satan.”
Duke Ferdinand had long disliked Leo. With a roar, he turned into a shadow and lunged at Leo.
A chilling wind swept through the hall.
Leo stood still and waited for the shadow to approach before throwing a punch without any fancy moves.
There was a loud thud followed by a scream. The shadow fell to the ground, revealing Duke Ferdinand’s true form.
Duke Ferdinand’s chest was caved in, his eyes rolled back, and blood gushed from his mouth. He lay motionless on the ground, clearly dead.
One punch-just one punch had killed a vampire duke!
The undeniable fact made the vampires reassess Leo and fear him even more.
Leo looked around arrogantly and asked, “Anyone else want to die?”
“A lowly human, don’t be so arrogant!” A vampire stepped forward. “Let me, Prince Amos, teach you a lesson!”
Prince Amos of The Sacs had been the first to object earlier.
Leo sneered, “Prince Amos, are you sure you want to meet Satan?”
Prince Amos roared in anger as black energy emanated from him, forming into a dragon’s head that shot a black beam at Leo.
Amos was indeed stronger than Duke Ferdinand.
Leo waved his right hand and conjured a fire blade with his Spiritual Power.
The fire blade tore through the air and burned through the black beam before slicing towards the dragon’s head.
The fire blade shattered the dragon’s head and continued towards Prince Amos.
However, the fire blade didn’t kill or seriously injure Prince Amos because it shattered against a strange blood-red long knife he held.
Leo could feel an intense killing intent emanating from the blood-red knife.
Leo’s eyes flashed with surprise as he praised, “Nice knife!”
Prince Amos gripped the knife and said proudly, “This knife is called Butcher! It’s an honor for you to die by it!”
With that, Prince Amos raised the Butcher knife to strike Leo.
“Wait!” Leo suddenly said.
“What, scared?” Prince Amos sneered.
Leo looked at Fred and said, “Prince Fred, I suggest you set up a barrier. Otherwise, if our fight destroys your castle, don’t blame me.”
Prince Fred realized they were on his turf and quickly summoned a black jade-like object.
Black mist spread from the jade and soon enveloped the entire hall.
The vampires retreated to the edges of the barrier to avoid getting caught in the fight.
Once the barrier was set up, Leo pointed at Prince Amos and said coldly, “Whether you have Butcher or not, I can still kill you. Come on!”
Such arrogant words nearly drove Prince Amos mad with rage.
With a furious roar, Prince Amos swung Butcher at Leo with immense force.
The blood-red energy from Butcher surged towards Leo like a tidal wave of destruction.
Leo summoned a talisman that conjured a flaming spear in mid-air.
Boom!!
The blood-red energy clashed violently with the flames from the spear.
