The commotion lasted for nearly ten minutes before a dark shadow leaped from the water into the air.
“Hmm?”
Seeing the shadow, Billy’s pupils contracted slightly.
It was a massive Divine Dragon! However, it wasn’t a physical body but a soul consciousness.
“Is this the soul consciousness of a Divine Dragon?” Billy asked White Feather.
“It’s not really a Divine Dragon, at best it’s a branch of the Divine Dragon lineage,” White Feather replied calmly.
“Divine Dragons have direct and branch lineages?”
“Look at its claws, it only has three. True Divine Dragons have five claws, like the one you saw in the Nine Dragons Cauldron. That is a real Divine Dragon!” White Feather continued.
“Alright,” Billy said, his mouth twitching slightly.
“What are you doing here again?” The phantom divine dragon approached them, its eyes blazing as it glared at White Feather.
It could speak human language, which wasn’t surprising. As it spoke, a powerful spiritual force spread out, seemingly sensing something.
“Don’t bother looking; there’s no one else here,” White Feather said calmly.
“What do you want?” the phantom divine dragon asked.
“I’m here to save you,” White Feather replied without any fear.
“Save me?” the phantom divine dragon said coldly. “Do you think I would believe that?”
“This is your only chance. If you don’t need it, I’ll leave immediately,” White Feather responded.
“You came all this way just to save me?” the phantom divine dragon asked again. After a pause, it seemed to notice something and stared at White Feather. “Why has your power decreased so much?”
“You should worry about yourself,” White Feather said. “Do you want my help or not? If not, I’m leaving.”
Turning to Billy, White Feather said, “Billy, since it doesn’t want our help, let’s go.”
“Wait!” The phantom divine dragon looked at Billy. “Who is he?”
“He’s the one who can save you,” White Feather said. “In this star domain, only Billy can save you.”
“Are you joking? A human in the Prime Source Realm can save me? Do you think I’m a child?” the phantom divine dragon retorted.
“Believe it or not,” White Feather said.
“Even if I believe he can save me, why would he? What do you want from me?” the phantom divine dragon asked.
“Finally, a sensible question,” White Feather responded. “He can save you, but you have to let him stay in your Dragon Saliva Pool for a day.”
“Dragon Saliva Pool?” The phantom divine dragon was taken aback. “Do you think he can survive in there for a whole day?”
“That’s none of your concern. Just answer whether you agree or not,” White Feather said again.
“If he can truly save me, I agree,” the phantom divine dragon said after some thought. “But I warn you, don’t play games with me. You know you’re no match for me in your current state.”
“Enough talk, let’s go,” White Feather said, turning to Billy. “Get on my back.”
“Okay,” Billy said and climbed onto White Feather’s back.
White Feather formed a protective shield and dove into the lake. The phantom divine dragon also submerged, and the lake surface returned to calm.
Once underwater, Billy realized how deep the lake was. By his estimation, they had descended nearly a thousand meters without reaching the bottom.
“White Feather, do you know it? Why is it trapped? How do you know I can help it escape?” Billy asked.
“It belonged to an eighth-tier star domain. Arrogant and troublesome, it hurt many people,” White Feather explained. “One day, it crossed paths with my master who was on a mission in that star domain. It foolishly provoked my master.”
“The result was that my master chased it here, severely injured it, and imprisoned it.”
“My master intended to kill it, but someone pleaded for its life, so it was spared.”
Billy didn’t know the exact strength of the man in white but was sure that even a branch Divine Dragon was no match for him.
“My master used Billion Year Ice to trap it at the bottom of this lake and reinforced it with an array,” White Feather continued. “Even at its peak strength, it couldn’t escape.”
“You mean my blade can break that ice?” Billy understood her implication.
“Yes,” White Feather nodded.
“Got it,” Billy paused before asking again. “What’s the Dragon Saliva Pool?”
“As the name suggests, it’s where dragon saliva is stored,” White Feather replied. “It’s mixed with its Essence Blood. If one can withstand the pool’s baptism, it greatly enhances physical defense.”
“But not everyone can endure it. Those without special constitutions or bloodlines will be melted away.”
“That extreme?” Billy’s mouth twitched. “Do you think I can do it?”
“I don’t know,” White Feather shook her head. “But if my master says you can, then you can.”
After chatting for a while longer, they finally reached the lake bottom.
Billy saw a bright cave entrance ahead with a barrier blocking it.
“Follow me,” the phantom divine dragon said and passed through the barrier. White Feather followed with Billy on her back.
Passing through the entrance, Billy was surprised.
Inside was an icy world with no end in sight.
Ice mountains and pillars of various sizes filled the space. The extreme cold made Billy shiver involuntarily.
As they walked further, Billy noticed a large Divine Dragon sealed in an ice mountain ahead.
Except for its head, its entire body was encased in ice.
At the foot of the ice mountain was a pool of water that emitted steam despite the freezing environment.
“Let me see what he has to help me escape!” The phantom divine dragon looked at White Feather.
“Billy, show him your blade,” White Feather said to Billy.
“Alright,” Billy presented his blade to the Divine Dragon.
“Are you kidding me?” The Divine Dragon took the blade with one claw and examined it. “This broken blade can break my seal?”
It swung the blade at the ice mountain, but after a crisp sound, there wasn’t even a scratch where the blade struck.
Seeing this, Billy was secretly amazed.
Though he couldn’t gauge the phantom divine dragon’s strength exactly, he estimated it to be at least Supreme Source Realm or higher.
Such power couldn’t even leave a mark on the ice!
This ice mountain was extraordinary!
“Explain,” The Divine Dragon tossed the blade back to Billy and spoke calmly.
