Chapter 2317: What is This Place?

The next day, Billy, with the help of Ivy and Stout, began to treat Jennifer’s injuries. Harleen, Casey, and the others entered the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space to continue their training.
Billy and his companions spent an entire day diagnosing Jennifer’s injuries. As she had described, her injuries were indeed severe.
The damaged meridians had mostly healed over the years, and other parts of her body had fully recovered.
However, two critical areas were still severely injured and recovering very slowly: her dantian and her soul.
For Billy, repairing the dantian was challenging but not impossible, as he had a prescription for it.
However, repairing the soul was not his expertise; otherwise, he would have already helped White Feather.
Fortunately, the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space was extremely beneficial for soul cultivation. White Feather’s soul had recovered quickly after entering the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
In the following days, Billy focused on refining the Solidifying Foundation Pill. Most of the necessary raw materials were in Stout’s storage ring. Ivy and Stout found the most crucial ingredient after searching Skyreach City for two or three days.
For Billy, refining the Solidifying Foundation Pill was no longer difficult. With the support of the Yin-yang Infinite Furnace, the pills he produced were of exceptionally high purity.
“You can really refine pills to repair the dantian?” Jennifer was surprised when Billy handed her the Solidifying Foundation Pill. Even in high-level star domains, repairing a damaged dantian was extremely complex and difficult.
Billy had managed to refine the Solidifying Foundation Pill in just a few days, which astonished her. “I have a formula for this kind of pill, so it’s not too difficult,” Billy said with a smile. “Try it and see how it works.”
“Alright,” Jennifer nodded and took the pill.
“Your soul injury is more complicated to repair,” Billy continued. “My bloodline can help with soul repair, but it’s not very effective. You should refine a few drops of my bloodline and then train in the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space; it will benefit your soul.”
“I’ll follow your arrangement,” Jennifer agreed without hesitation.
Billy nodded and gave Jennifer a few drops of his blood before sending her into the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space with the Solidifying Foundation Pill. Jennifer then entered a state of seclusion.
“Billy, the Harmon family and the two manors’ issues have likely reached the Heaven Alliance. They might send people to Skyreach City soon; we need to be prepared,” Ivy said to Billy one day.
Billy nodded slightly. “You and Stout should also train in the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space and improve your cultivation as quickly as possible.”
“What about you, Boss?” Stout asked.
“I have some matters to discuss with the head of the Harmon family. I’ll join you after that,” Billy replied.
“Alright, take care,” Ivy said before she and Stout entered the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
“Billy, are you almost done? Before the Heaven Alliance arrives, I want to take you somewhere,” White Feather suddenly emerged from Billy’s body.
“Where?” Billy was puzzled.
“You’ll see when we get there,” White Feather responded.
“Alright,” Billy nodded. He trusted White Feather wouldn’t harm him.
“Do we need a teleportation channel or a starship?” Billy asked.
“There are no teleportation channels to that place,” White Feather replied. “A regular starship would be too slow. Ride on my back; I’ll take you there.”
White Feather’s speed must be faster than a seventh-level starship, Billy thought. “Let’s go; the sooner we leave, the sooner we’ll return,” White Feather urged.
“Okay,” Billy agreed and sat on White Feather’s back.
As soon as he sat down, he felt a faint aura envelop him, likely a barrier of some sort. “Hold on tight!” White Feather said before soaring into the sky at an incredible speed.
Before Billy could respond, White Feather shot up like an arrow, leaving only a white dot in the sky within moments.
Billy couldn’t help but gasp. This speed was comparable to the quasi-eighth-level starship he had taken from The Wilderness to the seventh-level star domain. It was unbelievable!
He understood why White Feather used a barrier to protect him; without it, he would have been torn apart by the sheer speed.
White Feather had indeed surprised him; her abilities seemed to have significantly improved since arriving in the high-level star domain.
After about five or six hours, White Feather slowed down and finally stopped at an unknown star domain.
Billy looked around and saw a massive floating mountain range ahead, with occasional roars of fierce beasts echoing from within. White Feather landed on an open mountainside.
“We’re here; get off,” White Feather said as she retracted her barrier.
“What is this place?” Billy asked as he got off White Feather’s back and surveyed his surroundings. He released his spiritual power to scan hundreds of miles around but sensed no human presence, only fierce beasts.
“Do you remember what Master told you?” White Feather responded. “He said that when you arrived in the seventh-level star domain, I should take you somewhere.”
“Master?” Billy was momentarily confused but then remembered the white-robed man in the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space. “I remember now; he said you’d take me somewhere to temper my body.”
“Yes,” White Feather nodded. “This is the place.”
“This place?” Billy was puzzled. How could this desolate place help him temper his body?
“Follow me,” White Feather said and led Billy toward the highest peak in the area.
Along the way, several groups of fierce beasts emerged from the forest, intending to attack them. However, upon sensing White Feather’s bloodline aura, they all knelt down in fear, regardless of their level.
This made Billy even more curious about White Feather’s bloodline; what kind of bloodline could possess such deterrent power?
After about half an hour, they reached the mountain top. Billy saw a sizable lake not far away, its water clear and calm.
“White Feather, what is this place?” Billy asked as he turned to her.
Before he could finish his sentence, a massive disturbance erupted from the lake. The water surged like a tsunami, with waves reaching dozens of meters high. The ground beneath them shook violently, causing many towering trees to collapse and deep cracks to form in several places.
Clearly, something huge was lurking beneath the water!
Billy instinctively drew his blade…
