Sophia on the floor screaming

Book:A NIGHTSTAND WITH THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA Published:2024-11-9

Sophia was on the floor screaming and shouting, all to no avail. No one came to help her or even care about what was happening to her.
It was all a setup, and she knew it, because damn what will a huge quantity of groundnut oil be doing on the floor, not just on the floor, in a very room that the maid had just told her that her bag had been taken to.
“Damn!” Sophia yelled in both annoyance and frustration. She had been trying to get up from the messy ground, but she kept slipping and she couldn’t.
Having nothing else to do, she recalled she had brought the bouncers to the estate the previous day, even though Alpha Redford was not aware yet.
Her phone was with her, so she quickly dialed the contact number of one of the bouncers, and after three rings, he picked up.
“Hello Ma.” The man said at the other end of the line.
“Come into the building right away, at the second floor, the right corner of the line-up rooms. I mean, come right away, I am in a mess!” Sophia cried.
“You mean, I should come into the building, Ma?” The bouncer asked again.
“Are you dumb? Or you just want me to repeat myself, eh? Don’t you dare waste my time and do what I asked you to immediately.” Sophia said and ended the call as she continued to slip up and down even while sitting helplessly on the floor.
Just immediately after Sophia was done with the call, she heard footsteps approaching her, and then she thought it was the bouncer she had called, even if she reasoned it was too early for him to get to that place.
When she flipped her head in the direction, she found out it was no other person but Grace coming closer to her, and instantly she started barking.
“What the hell? What is going on here? You did this right? You are a silly lady! Before you make me more upset, just get things done and get me out of this mess, lady!” Sophia kelt on barking.
Grace, who was just looking at her smiling, managed to smile before proceeding to say what she already had in her heart.
“Why are you barking? No, tell me the exact reason you are yelling, huh?” Grace asked not to take more steps to avoid being cut in the mess.
“You would hear from me!” Sophia said immediately she noticed Grace would not even dare to fix the rubbish she had caused.
“Why are you so lazy? What is the big deal in getting up from the floor? You always have strength and energy when it comes to talking, but you are weak in other important aspects. You added a lot of salt to a meal a chef prepared, right? Then I am sorry to struggle on your own till you get up! Bear in mind that no one is coming to either help you or otherwise!” Grace countered.
“Are you kidding me? You are joking around with me, right?” Sophia asked.
“Kidding?” Sophia scoffed and chuckled.
“This is a lesson for what you did earlier today, and you know what it means if you don’t know your place in this house. Annoying Bitch!” Grace cursed, and with this last statement, she sighs after giving Sophia a wink and leaves, her slippers slapping the ground marble floor tiles.
“Bitch! You think this is the end of the game? There are more to come; just get ready for me!” Sophia said the frustration in her was evidenced in how she was acting as if everything was on.
Just as she was still on the floor, she received a call from Alpha Redford with immediate effect; she ended the call; she had no idea why he would be calling though.
The bouncer arrived some minutes later; he was the only one that had come into the building. Sophia was a little bit relieved when she saw it was him.
“Get me up right now! I mean right away.” The bouncer nodded, understanding what had happened, even if his boss, Sophia, had not said anything to him.
Carefully, he extended his hands to Sophia, still staying far away from where the groundnut oil was heavily on the floor.
Sophia was quick to take his hands, and just then he slowly drew her out of the pool of oil. It was spreading to every corner, but not really; they had professionally poured the oil on the ground.
“Get one of the estate maids right now! Get any!” Sophia growled at the bouncer, and now she was transferring aggressions.
She started saying all this after she was brought out of the oil, though she was completely in a mess-a very huge mess-her clothes, her long hair that swam on the oil too.
The bouncer rushed out to get one of the maids, and immediately a call came in again; it was Alpha Redford.
“What the hell? Why does he keep on calling me as though we have something urgent or so?” Sophia said the truth was that she was boiling in anger.
Meanwhile, she picked up the call to gear what he has to say at least rather than ignoring.
“Hello!” It was his husky, sweet voice that sounded first.
“Hello? Just Hello?” This was what Sophia said inside her head; she also had no idea what she wanted him to call her.
“Hi,” she said to him, trying not to show the anger in her but to sound calm.
The anger in her fuel was due to how he had started the conversation earlier.
“Please, if you don’t mind, I would love to meet you at an eatery today, so we can talk.” Alpha Redford said again and paused, waiting for her positive response.
At first, what pained her was the audacity of the approach-not even how are you doing? And he was already talking about seeing her in a hotel.
“Ohhhhh!” Sophia said, This was the only positive thing her mouth could voice out at the very moment.
“I don’t want to understand, lady!” Alpha Nelson said, feigning confusion.
“Sorry, you want us to meet at what eatery?” Sophia asked, itching her hair.
“I hope it is for something really very important.” Sophia wanted to say this out, but she found herself saying it inside her head.
“I will send the location right away, and please be there by 3:00 PM.” After Redford was done pronouncing his last statement, he ended the call before Sophia could say anything else.
“Damn! What an asshole? I guess he really has no idea who the heck I am. Sophia murmured to herself and let out a sigh.
Just as she was doing that, the bouncer returned with one of the maids, who followed him loyally and the back as though she was very scared of him or anything.
“Tidy up this place; I give you just one minute to do so, so I can have access inside the room.” Sophia said to the maid.
She still had not forgotten the aspect that Grace and the whole estate maid did her wrong, but she was not saying anything; she would act cool in the meantime.
But you know what was making her worried? It was the maid that the bouncer had brought earlier; she could swear she looks familiar; apart from the maid she knew, she knew this particular one as her enemy.
But she quickly waved the thought; she was just an ordinary maid, but still the thought lingered in her mind as she gave the lady a last stare before leaving.
Read and find out what happens next! Was the maid truly one of the estate maids or otherwise? Will Alpha Nelson take it lightly on Sophia for bringing in those bouncers that had harassed him?
