Before Victor could hit Grace on her face, Alpha Nelson was very much in time as he held his hand, causing Victor’s hands to be hung in the air.
“What the fuck do you think you want to do?” Alpha Nelson barked at Victor.
Alpha Nelson dropped his hands fiercely to his side and he faced him.
Grace was so bittered, like Victor was about to slap her? For what reason? He was really stupid to have tried to do that.
“Don’t you have shame, huh, young man? You want to hit my wife? In fact, don’t you have fear?” Alpha Nelson was yelling now; he couldn’t understand the audacity Victor had.
“Excuse me!” Victor said to Alpha Nelson and walked away, Cindy following him behind.
Alpha Nelson was not really a man that could stoop so low to fight with Victor, but he could order boys and he would be thoroughly beating, but he knew what he was doing.
“Hi love, I hope you are okay?. Alpha Nelson asked Grace, pulling a strand of her hair at the back of her ears.
“I am okay; I will deal with him.” Grace still dares to say.
Alpha Nelson couldn’t help but let out a loud laugh. Grace was indeed it so funny.
“You have to be careful around him; he is a man, you know?” He said, rubbing her shoulder.
“That doesn’t matter; I will make sure I do what I have in mind; he dared to slap me. You saw this, right?” Grace was really boiling in anger.
“I will take care of him; just be fine and avoid anything that has to do with him.” Alpha Nelson said to Grace.
“I will__” Before Grace could even construct her statement, Alpha Nelson kissed her on her forehead, leaving her speechless as a cold chill ran down her spine.
“It is fine,” he assured her.
She smiled widely; she was afraid she was falling in love with Alpha Nelson already; he had strictly told her no to.
“Let’s go into the meeting board now; the meeting is starting in three minutes.” He said and held her hands as they walked and entered the elevator.
Alpha Nelson inputed the floor the elevator was to whisk them to, and within less than one minute, the elevator flung open, and they stepped out, walking to the main board room.
Their outfit was really very matching, and they look like a very real couple. Grace was really an enchantress, and her bold step gave her a unique personality.
Immediately they got to the boardroom, the door flung open, and just then all eyes were on them.
The men that were already inside the boardroom couldn’t help but keep staring at Grace, while the ladies were all staring at Alpha Nelson.
Their eyes lingered on them as they took their every step; their eyes also followed them until they sat down on their respective chairs.
Grace could hear some murmurs in the crowd; they knew her, and she knows. Though she knew no one in there, apart from Victor and Cindy.
They might have seen her on media; that was while she was sure they knew her.
The meeting started in less than two minutes; immediately they arrived, the board had been waiting for Alpha Nelson to step in before the board meeting could kick off.
This was due to the levels he has in society and the country at large.
“Good day, everyone present here. Today, the board head members decided to introduce to you all the members with the second biggest shares.” The man who was dressed in a very beautiful Armani suit and his black trousers, making his looks awesome, said.
“What ? The board already knows I have the second highest shares.” Victor interrupted the man who was speaking.
The boardroom went into a murmuring section as the shareholders were all surprised by what they were hearing.
Grace was just smiling; she couldn’t wait for the man to reveal her name.
Each time her eyes met Cindy, she saw how Cindy winked at her with hate, but instead she returned a smile to get, and Cindy was really suffocating by Grace present.
When the noises died down a bit, the man who was speaking continued.
“The shareholder with the first largest shares, as we all know, is Alpha Nelson, while the shares are Alpha Nelson’s wife, Mrs. Grace Valdes Nelson.” The man revealed, and just then some of the board members applauded, while some were having a scorn on their faces.
Grace sluggishly stood up to her feet, her face in a very wide genuine smile, the murmuring calm down after she was on her feet.
She could see the daggers in Cindy’s baby blue eyes and also the threat in it. She was more than happy for her achievements, and now she wanted to make a speech.
“Permit me all to introduce my amiable self. I am Grace Valdes Nelson, the only wife to Alpha Nelson, the King of all. I appreciate all who would have welcomed me with delight, and also my special thanks go to my lovely husband Alpha Nelson, who had assisted me to be where I am now.” I paused and rolled my eyes on the board.
I could see the smile emanating on Alpha Nelson’s face and that of some other board members, while my enemies’ faces were dark and gloomy, as though happiness and joy were extracted and squeezed from them.
“I am very happy to meet you all; thanks for listening.” With this, Grace ended her warm statement, and to her surprise, every other person on the board was clapping.
Just Victor and Cindy were unhappy, and she was glad she had won their hearts with her sweet introduction.
With this, she was ready for her next mood. This was just the first bold step.
After the meeting was done, Alpha Nelson and Grace exchanged pleasantries with some of the board members and headed for home.
When they got home, Alpha Nelson and Grace were inside the room when he said.
“You have to prepare; we are going to see my parents tomorrow.”
“Parents? Tomorrow?” Grace couldn’t help but ask.
“Yes, they are expecting us.” Alpha Nelson said to her.
This was the first time she would be meeting with them, and she prayed they would be nice.
