“Why is she not out yet?” Alpha Nelson growled as he stood up from the couch he sat on and was checking his golden wristwatch.
It has been twenty minutes now, and Grace was not yet out of her room. Alpha Nelson was running out of time; he was really so furious.
“I will get her now, Alpha; forgive her lateness.” Grace’s mother said to Alpha Nelson as she bowed and rushed in to get Grace.
Letting out a very annoying sigh, Alpha Nelson paced the room; it seemed as though he was going to some very important meeting.
Alpha Nelson was dressed in a very expensive Turkish suit; his look was mesmerizing, his chestnut brown hair a fitting to his clothes, his well-ridgid jawline face, and his long pointed nose made him look so handsome.
But one could see the anger in his eyes as he waited for Grace; he was growing very impatient.
Grace was inside her room; she had decided not to go with Alpha Nelson, unsure of what the future holds for her-what was his plan of getting married to her?
But when she recalled what she passed through in the hands of her ex-boyfriend Victor and the bitch Cindy, she couldn’t help but rethink her actions.
Not just that she knew what would befall her; the deal was signed and nothing could be done.
“Arrrggghhh! Mom.” Grace growled in pain; she had just collided with her mom, who was going into her room to get her.
“Mom, why are you walking with so much intensity? You just hit me.” She said to her mother, holding her stomach.
“What the hell are you doing in your room for such a long time, huh? Alpha Nelson is really furious right now; you have taken so much of his time.” Her mother said, trying to study her face.
“Mom, as you can see, I am going to meet him now; I was busy inside with some things.” Grace said, walking to the sitting room.
“Give me a few minutes. I have something to tell you about Alpha Nelson, so you can be very smart in dealing with him.” Grace’s mother called out to her.
“Mom, I know what you are about to say.” Grace said to her mom, She really thought her mom was about asking her to extract money from Alpha Nelson Divine and bring it to her and Elvis. Knowing how wealthy he was.
Not knowing her mother really had something important to share with her.
Just as Grace ignored her mom and kept walking in the direction leading to the sitting room, she felt something weird; she felt like throwing up.
Just then she rushed to a nearby restroom and emptied everything into the sink as she washed her mouth and flushed where she had emptied the content in her stomach.
What the fuck! This had happened twice to her, and she really doesn’t know what was wrong with her.
Just as she washed her mouth and used her hands to wipe her mouth and was about to walk out of the bathroom, she saw her mother at the entrance staring at her with an eye she couldn’t really understand.
“Mom.” She scoffed.
“Yes, what is wrong with you? Why are you throwing up?” Her mother asked about her suspiciousness in her tone and her eyes too.
“Nothing, mom, I am good, just symptoms of malaria.” Grace said she was walking to the sitting room, not wanting to have more conversation with her mom.
When she got to the sitting room, the first thing she observed was the anger in Alpha Nelson pacing; he was really looking furious, just like her mother had said.
Even if he was now her husband, she was scared of him most of the time, so she walked quietly to where he stood.
“I am here; we can go now. Sorry for the delay; I had to do something important before leaving.” She said her heart was racing violently.
Alpha Nelson flipped his head to her; his eyes could show how angry he was. As soon as their eyes met, she cut the gaze and immediately bowed her head, facing the ground.
“Let’s go.” Alpha Nelson said calmly, though his true emotions were evidenced in his calm voice.
Just then he walked out of the house, and Grace followed him as though she were one of his bodyguards assigned for him.
Just as she got to the outside part of their building, she saw her brother Elvis; he seems to be walking back into the main building.
“I am leaving love; take care of yourself.” She said to Elvis that she could see in his eyes that he was both happy and sad that she was leaving.
“Bye big sis, I will miss you.” Elvis said and hugged her so passionately, which she reciprocated.
Elvis was really a sweetheart, unlike her mother; that was why she didn’t bother bidding her a goodbye.
She had nothing to do with her; she was sure her mother was happy that she was leaving, and mostly she was married to a wealthy Alpha Nelson Divine.
That was why she didn’t bother to hear what she had to say.
“I will send you money for your school fees.” Grace assured her brother with a broad smile as they broke from the hug.
Just then she bade him goodbye and went to the car where Alpha Nelson was waiting for her.
Now she realized how she was going to miss her home, just because of her brother.
“It was one year, not really forever.” This was her everyday assurance.
When she got to the car, she noticed that the chauffeur had already ignited his engine, and she was really the one they were waiting for.
She climbed into the car and sat down next to Alpha Nelson.
“Don’t you realize you took all my time just to get ready? I thought I informed you on time.” He sneered at her slightly.
“Sorry, Alpha Nelson, my apology.” She said it straightly, just not wanting him to say anything else.
She was really not in the mood for any of his possessiveness or ranting; she had no better word for it.
“Stop with the Alpha Nelson.” He growled.
She gulped down the saliva in her mouth.
“Sorry love.” She corrected; this was really going to be tough.
Just then they drove quietly to his estate. Now, this was a new phase of life for her. She didn’t know what the future held, but she hoped for the best.
But what was bothering her was the kind of symptoms she was getting these few days; she hoped it was not pregnancy.
