“I was not even talking to you; what is your problem with me?” A young woman hollered, ruffling her hair in frustration. Her gaze was fixed on the other lady, who was dressed in a boxed red maid uniform.
“You think because you will be assigned as the Luna’s maid, you now dare to barge into every conversation you see.” The other lady frowned, her eyes filled with disgust and envy. She clicked her tongue against her teeth, anticipating what else she would say.
“What have I done wrong? You were insulting this girl simply because she was new, and I confronted her with some encouraging words,” she said, his eyelashes batting in confusion.
“Shut the hell up!! I wonder who you fucked between the beta and gamma that convinced the Alpha to pick you for his Luna.”
“I am still better than you, you asslicker who follows those stupid elders around, you fucking spy!! Davina, you are a disgusting bitch.” She screamed, her body jerking in rage. If looks could kill, Davina would have been six feet underground.
Words stuck in Davina’s throat, and the outburst caught her off guard. She had no idea anyone would be aware of her job and relationship with the relation elder. Her mouth quivered in fear, fist clenched as she parted her lips to make a statement. Nothing came out because her thoughts were disorganized.
She remembered the warning given to her: nobody should know she is a spy, and even if they do, the elder’s name should not be revealed. She rushed out of the kitchen in panic, nearly tripping over her hasty steps.
“Why would you say that? Can not you see how hurt she is?” The older lady among them spoke up; she purposefully remained silent during their conversation.
“You were deaf when she slut shamed me for the position I worked so hard to get, right? Evil supporters, I will continue to insult her with her evil actions… She stated and walked out of the kitchen without regret.

Gamma Loan was seen rushing back into the office from which he had previously exited. He pushed the door open and hurriedly approached the table, which was covered in unattended files.
He approached the table and placed his hands on it, her eyes scanning each file. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the specific file he was concerned about.
He pushed off the ones covering it and picked it up, his gaze fixed on the italic initials. He squinted his eyes to read, and a sharp pain ran through his head as he realized the significance of the initials.
“To your Alpha,” he read. The initial was spiked in the middle with a red dried liquid, which he ran his fingers over before placing it on his nose.
The raw metallic smell permeated his nostrils.
“That bastard,” he called, not knowing who dared to send the file even though Silverado Pack’s traditions state that no message should contain any form of blood.
He summoned the courage to open the file, hoping to find out where it came from.
His hands hover over the file, his eyes squinting in anticipation of the unknown contents.
His thoughts and mind were filled with a combination of fear and curiosity.
He pulled the cover open to reveal the most terrifying sight.
Every word and letter was gruesome.
His mind curled up with horror. The messages were scribbled with blood.
As he moved his gaze up and down the ghastly pages, he realized that the message was intended for him rather than the Alpha.
His secrets were spilling out, and his quivering hands gripped the edge of the file.
“The truth will destroy you…”
“Your entire reason for existence will crumble.”
Each phrase pierced deeper, slicing through his facade.
He understood what it meant; those were the words spoken by the late Alpha, Alpha Damian’s father when he poisoned the latter.
Panic took hold, threatening to consume him as his mind raced.
He could feel the room shrinking around him, trapping him inside.
He flipped the file cover and brought it closer to himself, glancing around.
“Who else knows about this besides me?” He thought, clutching the file to his chest.
He felt exposed; the secret was no longer his own, so he needed to act quickly. Before looking for the messenger, he needed to destroy the file, burn it, and ensure that no pieces remained.
He approached the cabinet and yanked open the drawer, revealing a lighter.
With quivering hands, he placed the file on the cabinet, the words still fresh in his mind.
He flicked the lighter and placed it in the corner of the file, watching the flames engulf the pages.
The bloodstained words curled and blackened.
He felt a temporary sense of relief as the fire burned quickly.
“Your entire reason for existence will crumble…. ” He sneered as the word lingered in his head.
He was startled out of his reverie by the vibrating sounds coming from his pocket. He tossed her lighter back into the drawer and pushed it shut before inserting his hands into his pocket to retrieve his phone.
His eyes widened in shock as he saw the message notification appear on the screen. It came from the relation’s elder.
“I hope you received the message… Your presence is required in my abode; otherwise, you want your favorite Alpha to know about your involvement in his father’s death.”
As he finished reading the message, his breathing came to a halt, suspended in mid-air.
His lips quivered with a mixture of fear and anguish. His attention was focused on the message.
His lips parted slightly, indicating impending doom.
He reminisced back and squeezed his face in regret, despite having an issue with the late Alpha and also having a mission. In Pack House, he has never wanted to interact with the Elders.
He understands how evil and cunning they are.
His face turned pale as the weight of regret overwhelmed him.
His gaze shifted to the door as he heard a creaking sound.
He turned off his emotions and presented a serious facade.
“Let us see what he has to say…”He thought, his fist trembling as he walked out of the room.
