After walking for what seemed like an eternity, the Royal doctor came to a halt at a door, tilting his head sideways to ensure that no one was nearby.
Seeing how clear the coast was, he pushed the door slightly, which opened with a creak. He slipped in and slammed the door shut.
The relation elder paused what he was doing and raised his head to see who had entered. His curiosity faded after he saw who it was.
“I believe we are starting to be suspected.” The royal doctor said,
“You are starting to be suspected? For what purpose? Was there anything you did wrong?” Daniel inquired, his curious gaze focused on the man in front of him.
The Royal doctor turned, startled by the voice of a man he had never noticed was there. His gaze shifted to the relation elder, who had a neutral expression on his face.
“Oh, You are the Royal Doctor!” Daniel spoke, a mischievous smirk gradually appearing on his lips.
The Royal Doctor took a deep breath and turned to face the door. He will keep whatever he wants to say to himself.
“He is a part of us now, and I have told him everything.” The Relation Elder disclosed.
“You did what? Why would you spill a top secret that is supposed to be kept between us only, a secret that should be taken to the grave? Did you share it with another person? What the heck were you thinking?” The Royal Doctor growled, his eyes glaring with rage and his folded fist trembling.
“We can not recruit more people if we do not reveal the secret. Plus, he is the Alpha’s cousin and despises him as well. Calm down.” The Relation Elder answered,
“Oh my goodness! Are you aware that I am the most important figure in this? If this is discovered, I will be the one who receives the most criticism.” The Royal Doctor yelled,
“Shut the fuck up and sit your ass down!!! Why are you upset because I shared the secret with someone else when you could have just killed him earlier? Did you give him poison?” The Relation Elder lost patience immediately and stood up to the Royal Doctor, ready to strangle him to death.
” Who dares to question his decisions? A typical royal doctor.” His surprised thoughts fueled his rage, and he pushed the royal doctor, landing a fist in his face.
” Do you think I am unaware that you poisoned him? You have been envious of the Royal family since you became the relation elder. You exude no shame.” With a shocked glare directed at the relation elder, the royal doctor vented in his head.
He stood up from the ground, holding his lower lips with his teeth, his expression neutral, as if he was not angry or intimidated.
“Is there anything else you want to say to me? And how sure are you that he is one of us?” The Royal Elder stated, shifting his gaze to Daniel, who was grinning mischievously.
“Excuse me; I have a prey to catch,” Daniel smirked and walked out of the relation elder room.
Daniel walked towards his room but came to a halt when he heard his cousin’s angry voice. His inquisitive self diverted his attention and approached them.
” What happened?” He inquired in an apologetic tone, which was likely a facade.
” You have no business here, Daniel.” Alpha Damian moaned, his enraged eyes blazing, “Get your butt out of the pack’s business.”
” Chill cousin,” Daniel smirked and was about to say another thing when he noticed Mavana exiting a room. His lips curved into a smile, and various thoughts raced through his head.
“What a piece of shit!” He sneered underneath and stormed away from their view. He purposefully snuck after Mavana until she reached her room and entered.
” Hello, baby!” Daniel entered before the door closed behind them. Mavana’s body jerked with surprise as she turned to see who it was.
“What are you doing here?” She questioned, pulling her clothes tighter around herself.
“I miss your soft lips and skin,” Daniel smiled, slipping his tongue out to lick his lower lips. He started moving forward in slow strides, his sly grin never leaving his lips.
“Get the heck out of here!” Do not come any closer!!” Mavana yelled, slowly moving her legs back until she reached the wall.
“You are stuck with me, baby!” “Just relax and let me take care of you,” he proposed.
Mavana’s face contorted with disgust at his tone and smile.
” Your stupidity grows with the number of statements you make, Stuck with you? You are not even my Mate?!” She ranted, shaking the fear from her body, and stood straight against the disgusting man in front of her.
Daniel was taken aback by the abrupt change. “Oh wow, your sudden switch from fear to boldness is amazing,” he exclaimed, his hands flying to her neck harshly.
“Come over here.” He yelled and drew her closer with his hands on her neck, smashing his lips against hers and kissing her violently.
Mavana’s yells filled the room as she hit his chest with her hands, tears streaming down her cheeks as she became lost in her consuming thoughts.
“Is this how my life will end? If anyone enters now, I will die.” She cries and gains courage and strength. She hit his right eye with her fist, causing him to remove his hands from her neck.
He covered his hitched eyes, but he recovered quickly from the pain. His face was red from the anger boiling within him, and he landed a fist on her stomach, knocking her off balance.
It was an unexpected hit that sent pain throughout her body. She clutched her stomach and stood up.
Daniel pushed her onto the bed and quickly climbed her, pinning her down.
He swept his finger across her face and bent over to kiss every exposed part of her neck shamelessly.
” What are you doing?” She yelled, struggling to get him off herself, but all of her efforts were futile because they only fueled Daniel’s rage.
He yanked her hands away from her chest and grabbed the neck of the shirt, ripping it down.
Her perky boobs popped out of her dress, and she realized what his plan was.
“Please do not do this. She begged, unsure why her strength was not returning.
“You are beautiful both inside and out,” he said, grabbing her left boob and fondling it roughly.
“Leave me alone!” Mavana yelled, her hands flying to his neck, she wrapped them around it and pressed it, choking him.
Daniel yanked her head up with her hair and pushed her back into the bed, freeing his neck from her grip.
“Get off me,” she screamed, her screams echoing throughout the room and premises.
“What is that?” Alpha Damian inquired and dashed to Mavana’s assigned room, twisting the doorknob and hurrying.
His jaw dropped as his eyes scanned the room, and his blood ran cold instantly.
“You shithead!” He hollered.
