” Rejection!! ” The audience murmured and sat well for drama that’s about to take place.
” Come closer” Lorienta’s voice snapped Mavana out of her consuming thoughts as she dragged her feet towards them and stood still with her head bowed.
Alpha Carlos cleared his voice and began the rejecting process.
“Today, I, Alpha Carlos Vert of Crest Pack, reject you as my mate, Mavana.” With a harsh and icy voice, Alpha Carlos said, generating mutters from the assembly.
Mavana was confused and sad but all of a sudden, her face broke into a disparaging smile as she clapped back boldly, “I reject your rejection, Alpha; you can not do that.”
As the most despised Omega in Crest pack, Mavana shocked the assembled crowd. An Omega who has always been despised and detested. How could she respond to the Alpha with words of her own? What made her so fearless?
Mavana grinned and grinned, rolling her eyes at the people’s shocked expressions.
“Rather, I, Mavana Fae of Crest Pack, decline your offer to be my mate, Alpha Carlos Vert.” She sensed the mate bond being severed the instant the words left her voice cord. She clutched on to her chest in pain and same goes to everybody from Crest pack.
After a while, the pain subsides and the audience began murmuring about the twist of event.
” I don’t have any business in this pack again, I’m so worthless” Mavana smirked and walked out of the hall feeling fulfilled but her mind started wallowing in regret, She doesn’t have anywhere to go neither can she continue staying in the pack.
She began regretting her actions until her wolf spoke up for the first time since she clocked 20. ” You don’t have to leave stupid, Getting rejected isn’t parallel to banishment, You can still love in the pack” Karina, Mavana’s wolf spoke up which light up her face.
Without waiting for anything, she ran towards the pack house, into her room and arranged her bed. ” I love you Karina and I appreciate who so ever helped me pray for the sudden confidence that took me back there, I’m very grateful” She mouthed and closed her eyes to enjoy a very nice and relaxing sleep.
************
The event finished earlier than expected and everyone left immediately, it was time for the newly mated couples to mate.
” What the hell do you think you are doing? ” Alpha Carlos hollered at his Luna who was already burning on heat.
She has been feeling like that since they finished the Nate rituals but Alpha Carlos keeps rejecting her advances.
” Please” She begged as she struggled to get out of her clothes, Her mind was trying to figure out what made her Alpha angry but her body was yearning for something else.
” How can you think of mating after that bitch humiliated me in front of everyone?, Are you this shameless? ” He muttered as he stood up, Roaming around the room while thinking of how to deal with Mavana.
Lorienta sighed in pain, Her body was slowly becoming weak as the heat was draining all her strength. Without replying Alpha Carlos, She ran out and stopped abruptly at an entrance, looking left and right, she ran into the entrance and shut the door.
Alpha Carlos didn’t even think of his own pain as his thought was clouded with unsure feelings, he doesn’t know whether he feels sad about his mate rejecting him instead or because of how humiliated he felt during the rituals.
He sat on the bed and called on his Beta, Drake. Drake rushed into the room almost immediately, He knows what his lateness could cost him due to the situation on ground even though he is like Carlos best friend.
” What’s the problem?” Drake asked strolling towards the window.
” What did the elders talk about after the rituals? Do you have any idea?” Curious Alpha Carlos queries.
” I’m not so sure but I overheard their leaked discussion from the maids, The elders were discussing on how to punish you for bringing in disgrace into our pack” Drake muttered and bowed his head, He knows what Carlos is capable of doing when angry and he doesn’t wish to be part of it.
Alpha Carlos groan as anger took over him, he picked up a flower vase on the bed stand and threw it across the room, Luckily for Drake, he was able to dodge it quickly.
That wasn’t enough for Carlos as he stood up from his seat and threw a fist at the door, The room shook in terror due to the force. Alpha Carlos has always been trained as a warrior since he was little, it was not surprising if his fist shook the entire room.
” Get out ” He yelled and picked up another vase to throw at his Beta, Drake quickly ran for his life not minding if Carlos kills himself or get injured with the amount of broken vase on the ground.

” You are a thief who finds Joy in making people cry”
” That was why your parents died in the hands of their own warriors because of your badluck”
” Why are you bent on disgracing our pack, You Worthless Omega”
Those were the words forced into Mavana’s ear as she walked down the street. Her body was crumbling under the weight of their harsh words, her mind was spoiled, and her emotions and mental state had been traumatized. Even small children cursed at her and threw various objects.
“Get away from our pack; you started the fight between the Alpha and the Luna. You are a disgrace to your parents in the grave” The final word pierced deeply into her. Her legs trembled as she crashed to the ground, tears streaming down her cheeks. She held her head and covered her ears to keep from hearing, but their murmurs only grew louder.
” Arrgh” She screamed and awoke from her nightmare, covered in sweat and with dried tears on her cheeks.
She looked around and realized she was still in the room, which helped her body calm down. She stood up from the floor she had slept on and was about to fold her tattered spread when three guards barged in.
Mavana’s heart skipped as she quickly assessed the situation and realized trouble had ensued.
“Take her to the town square right now.” The Pack House’s head guard issued an order without emotion and walked out of the room.
“Come here, you thief.” One of the guards mouthed and grabbed her with one of his hands.
” Thief,” she said, her mind flashing back to the dream she had earlier. Her mind quickly succumbed to fear as she begged the guards and tried to pull herself back.
“Stand straight.” The head guard spoke up and delivered a hard kick to her stomach.
Pain radiated from her stomach to her head, and she screamed aloud.
“I am sorry.” She whimpered like a baby, unaware of what or how she had stolen.
She was still lost in her thoughts when the guards released her shoulders rashly, causing her knees to strike the ground with force. A sharp yelp escaped her lips as she looked up to see thousands of people waiting to see the verdict.
She wondered how serious the sin was to make the people appear this much. She was not even afraid of the judgment or the lies told against her. The only thing she was afraid of was being killed without finding her parents’ killer, which is why she stayed in this pack even though they died in the war that led to Crest Pack freedom. She still believed that it was the job of an insider, and she has been with the vow since the day they died, despite the pain she has endured.
“Without wasting much time, this Omega here committed a grave sin that cannot be forgiven even by the moon goddess,” Alpha Carlos declared, clutching a sheathed sword and smiling.
The audience murmured, curious to learn what she did.
“She stabbed Crest’s Pack Luna out of vengeance,” Alpha Carlos announced, and Luna Lorienta was wheeled in right away, her stomach bandaged and blood stains visible on her bandage.
The crowd murmured and grew increasingly curious as they demanded to know when it happened.
“After yesterday’s incident, I and the Alpha went into a heat session and mated, only for me to come out and get something from the kitchen and be stabbed with a dagger that was only accessible to the kitchen maids,” Luna Lorienta coughed as she finished her statement.
The crowd became agitated and began throwing stones at Mavana, who was more devastated and curious than them.
“I was not outside at all yesterday after the incident, I…” Mavana tries to explain, but there is no room for her as everyone yells in rage and demands that her judgment be pronounced immediately.
Mavana’s eyes were clouded with tears as she returned her gaze to Lorienta, only to notice a smirk on her lips as she was wheeled back inside.
“This is my judgment.” The Crime Elder’s voice came up, silencing the audience.
“You, Mavana Fae, have been banished from this pack and should be sent out without anything before sunset,” he announced.
