“No more!” Duskreaper shook his head.
“A thousand years ago, in the battle where I was sealed, all the treasures except this Demonhide were destroyed!”
“You can’t defeat the opponent even with this Demonhide?” Billy asked.
Duskreaper’s mouth twitched. “That bastard, I don’t know where he came from, but he’s unbelievably strong. Even if I wore ten pieces of Demonhide, it wouldn’t make a difference…”
He stopped speaking because the fury blade moved, embedding itself two inches into his forehead.
“Mr. Blade, spare me…” Duskreaper trembled as he spoke.
After a brief pause, seeing that the fury blade didn’t go any deeper, he looked at Billy. “Is this blade his?”
“Hmm?” Upon hearing this, Gideon Muir and the others behind him were also taken aback.
They hadn’t considered this possibility before, but now that Duskreaper mentioned it, it seemed plausible!
Otherwise, why would the blade suddenly react this way?
“You just realized?” Billy replied, though he himself wasn’t confident.
He had no idea who had sealed Duskreaper back then, nor did he understand the fury blade’s behavior!
“Is it really?” Duskreaper seemed genuinely terrified of the person from back then.
“If I let you go today, how can you guarantee you won’t attack the Muir family again?” Billy asked. “What if you strike when I’m not around and then run away? How would I find you?”
“I promise I won’t!” Duskreaper, guessing the origin of the fury blade, became even more submissive.
After a slight pause, a beam of energy shot from his forehead and entered Billy’s.
“That was my soul mark. As long as we’re in the same star domain, you’ll always know my location.”
“Get lost!” Billy waved his hand.
Whether or not he had Duskreaper’s soul mark was no longer important. He believed that after today, if Duskreaper wanted to stay alive, he wouldn’t dare cause trouble again!
“Thank you!” Duskreaper said, staring at the fury blade. “Mr. Blade, goodbye!”
He tried to retreat a few meters. Seeing no reaction from the fury blade, he retreated another hundred meters.
Seeing that the fury blade remained still, he fled at full speed, disappearing in an instant.
Strangely enough, after Duskreaper left, the fury blade returned to Billy and reverted to its previous state.
Billy’s mouth twitched slightly as he took the fury blade. He was becoming increasingly curious about it.
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” After Duskreaper left, Gideon Muir and his group bowed to Billy.
“Old Muir, you’re too kind. I didn’t really do much!” Billy responded.
As he spoke, Sanaa’s image flashed in his mind again!
He had a strong feeling that Sanaa might have known this would happen from the beginning, which is why she sent him!
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have sent him to his death!
But how did she know the fury blade could subdue Duskreaper?!
“Mr. Billy is too modest. Without you, we would have been doomed!” Gideon Muir continued.
“We owe you a great debt. If you ever need the Muir family’s help, just ask.”
As he spoke, he handed Billy something resembling a sound transmission stone. “Mr. Billy, please take this reverse transmission stone.”
“Reverse transmission stone?” Billy was puzzled.
He had heard of transmission stones that could instantly return to a set point when activated.
Recently, in the Silent Ruins Sky Realm’s blood domain, he had used a transmission stone given by Sanaa to leave safely.
But this was the first time he had heard of a reverse transmission stone.
“Yes!” Gideon Muir nodded. “If you encounter danger in the future, destroy it and I will come instantly!”
“So amazing?” Billy responded after a brief surprise. “I’ll accept it then. Thank you!”
Though Gideon Muir seemed weak compared to Duskreaper, one must remember that Duskreaper was one of the top figures in the seventh star domain.
Gideon Muir might be slightly inferior but was still a powerful Returning Source Realm or even Dry Source Realm expert. Having his help could be life-saving!
“Mr. Billy, you’re welcome!” Gideon Muir smiled.
After chatting for a bit more, Billy returned to the small courtyard in Whitecloud City with Charity’s guidance.
“Thank you!” Charity said to Billy upon their return.
“Miss Charity is too kind!” Billy smiled. After a brief pause, he continued, “Miss Charity, do you know Cloudhaven Sect?”
He intended to go to Cloudhaven Sect for the Heaven Book!
The Wilderness’s Harmon family elder had told him that the Heaven Book was with Cloudhaven Sect’s leader and had given him a token to retrieve it.
“Cloudhaven Sect?” Charity was slightly surprised.
“Yes!” Billy nodded.
“I know!” Charity paused before continuing.
“It’s some distance from Whitecloud City. To get there, you need to go to Skyreach City first and then use the transmission channel from there.”
“Got it!” Billy nodded and asked again, “Which city does Cloudhaven Sect belong to?”
“Strictly speaking, it doesn’t belong to any city. It’s an independent place.” Charity responded.
“The nearest city to Cloudhaven Sect is Forest City. From Skyreach City, you can use the transmission channel to get to Forest City and then it’s only tens of thousands of miles away.”
“Understood!” Billy nodded again.
“If you’re returning to Skyreach City, be careful of the Harmon family; they might be looking for you!” Charity warned.
“Thank you for the reminder!” Billy responded.
After chatting for a while longer, Billy took his leave.
After leaving the courtyard, Billy flew to a primeval forest.
Then he summoned Nine Dragons Cauldron outside his body and entered its space himself before shrinking it to fist size and hiding it.
“Boss!” Inside Nine Dragons Cauldron Space, Casey and others gathered around. “Billy, are you okay?” Harleen examined him closely.
“I’m fine!” Billy smiled.
“Were you being chased by Duskreaper? What about the Muir family? Are they all dead?” Stout asked.
The others also looked at Billy with similar thoughts.
“Duskreaper ran away!” Billy smiled again.
“Ran away?” Everyone was stunned.
“Yes!” Billy nodded and briefly recounted what had happened.
“Ah?” After hearing Billy’s story, everyone was shocked and speechless.
“Boss, have you tried activating the fury blade again? Is it still that powerful?” Bob asked.
“No use!” Billy shook his head. “It’s back to its original state!”
“So amazing?” Everyone found it hard to digest this information immediately.
