The ghost quickly chased after the old man’s soul, moving so fast that it left the old man in despair. Meanwhile, an attack launched by an old woman swept rapidly towards Sanaa.
Just as she thought she would succeed, she was horrified to find her long whip stopped in mid-air, unable to move forward.
In the next moment, the whip disintegrated into dust, and a strong gust of wind blew her a thousand meters away.
As she tried to catch her breath and escape, a phantom hand grabbed her by the throat.
Crack!
With a crisp sound, the old woman lost her breath, and a soul emerged from her body.
Without hesitation, she quickly retreated, sensing an extremely chilling aura approaching her.
Despite her quick reaction, it was still too late. Dark Puppet had absorbed the old man’s soul and then turned towards her, taking a deep breath.
“Damn it…” the old woman involuntarily exclaimed. Before she could finish her sentence, her soul was sucked into Dark Puppet’s body. Billy then stored Dark Puppet back into his storage ring. Absorbing the souls of two sixth-rank Returning Source Realm individuals was quite a gain!
From the moment Derick Greer and his companions attacked to the end of the battle, it all happened in the blink of an eye. As Derick Greer caught his breath and looked around, he saw that his two companions were already dead.
“You destroyed their souls; you deserve to die!” Derick Greer shouted at Billy with a twisted expression. Losing a physical body could be remedied, but losing a soul meant complete annihilation. He never expected Billy to have something that could devour souls.
“Do you still want to fight?” Sanaa asked calmly.
“Your injuries… are they healed?” Derick Greer asked after taking a deep breath. He had thought that with the combined strength of the three of them, they could take down their opponent. But now, he realized he was a joke. They couldn’t even last one round against Sanaa despite their full strength.
“You overestimate yourself,” Sanaa glanced at him. “If I were fully healed, you’ll turn into ashes in a blink of an eye.”
Derick Greer remained silent.
“Alright, if you don’t dare to fight anymore, then leave!” Sanaa waved dismissively. “Tell your superiors not to cause trouble again, or I’ll pay your base a visit next time!”
“And by the way, I didn’t kill Liam Boyle. Find out who did before blaming me.”
“You killed so many from the Heaven Alliance; this won’t end here…” Derick Greer started to say.
“Leave!” Sanaa interrupted him sternly.
“We will meet again soon!” Derick Greer said before turning and leaving.
Sanaa then descended to the ground with Billy and the others.
“Let’s go. I know who took your wife and the others,” Sanaa said to Billy.
“The Harmon family?” Billy asked.
“Yes,” Sanaa replied and led the group towards the Harmon family estate.
“Miss Sanaa, how did you suddenly know it was the Harmon family who took Harleen and the others?” Stout asked as they walked.
“In Skyreach City, only the Heaven Alliance and the Harmon family have the power and audacity to frame Whitecloud Manor and Rainbow Manor,” Casey explained for Sanaa. “Since we’ve ruled out the Heaven Alliance, it must be the Harmon family.”
“Why is the Heaven Alliance ruled out?” Stout asked but then seemed to realize something. “I get it. If it were the Heaven Alliance, Liam Boyle wouldn’t be dead, right?”
“You’re not too dumb,” Casey replied.
Stout’s mouth twitched slightly as he continued, “Why would the Harmon family frame Whitecloud Manor and Rainbow Manor?”
“The Heaven Alliance wants to cultivate a puppet to manage this star domain for them. It will likely come from one of these three forces,” Sanaa responded. “So for the Harmon family, it’s beneficial to use us to eliminate potential rivals.”
“I see,” Stout nodded. “The Harmon family seems quite hypocritical.”
He then looked at Sanaa again and asked, “Miss Sanaa, can we kill members of the Harmon family at will?”
“You can,” Sanaa replied. “If you can beat them.”
“Are they strong?” Stout asked.
“Many of them are stronger than you,” Sanaa replied again.
The Harmon family estate was located in the west of Skyreach City, similar to how Rainbow Manor dominated Blackrock City. Nearly half of the western part of Skyreach City belonged to the Harmon family.
Half an hour later, the group arrived at the entrance of the Harmon family estate.
“Are you Miss Sanaa and Mr. Billy?” An elderly man who looked like a steward quickly came out from inside as they approached.
“Are they waiting for us?” Stout muttered.
“Please come in; the master has been expecting you,” the elderly man bowed and responded.
“Interesting,” Sanaa narrowed her eyes slightly.
Following the elderly man’s lead, they walked into the estate. The Harmon family estate resembled a small city with bustling crowds comparable to those outside.
After walking for half an hour, they arrived at a beautiful garden at the back of the estate.
“Miss Sanaa’s presence brings light to our humble abode!” A man’s voice greeted them as they entered.
A group of people appeared in their view, led by a man who looked about forty or fifty years old with handsome features and a robust build. He wore a gray robe and had a faint smile on his face. This man was Kash Harmon, the current head of the Harmon family and their most talented genius in millennia.
“I’ve heard you’re friendly on the outside but scheming on the inside; seeing you today proves it true,” Sanaa glanced at him.
“How rude!” An elderly man beside Kash Harmon shouted sternly. “Miss Sanaa, watch your words…”
“Be quiet!” Kash Harmon scolded before smiling at Sanaa again. “Miss Sanaa might have some misunderstandings about me…”
“I’m not here for small talk,” Sanaa interrupted him. “Tell me why you took those four women and what it will take to release them.”
“Miss Sanaa misunderstands; I merely invited them as guests,” Kash Harmon smiled again.
“You better not waste words,” Billy said sternly. “You have one minute; if I don’t see them by then, I’ll flatten your estate!”
“I’ve heard Mr. Billy is confident; today I see it’s true!” Kash Harmon smiled. “Mr. Billy, please be patient; your wife and the others are fine and well. You will see them shortly.”
He then turned back to Sanaa. “Miss Sanaa, let me introduce someone to you.”
“Not interested,” Sanaa replied. “Stop wasting time; if you don’t bring them out now, I’ll destroy your family!”
“Siena, it’s been a while; your temper hasn’t changed,” another man’s voice sounded.
A middle-aged man emerged from behind a rockery with an old man in a blue robe following him.
“Greetings, Miss Sanaa!” The old man in blue robe bowed upon seeing her.
“Hmm?” Sanaa ignored him and looked at the middle-aged man with a slight frown. “What are you doing here?”
After a brief pause, she continued, “Are you behind this?”
