“They’re here to find someone!” Ralph Sanford briefly introduced.
“Miss Sanaa, isn’t it a bit too much?” Reece Sanford frowned at Sanaa. “What makes you so sure the people are in my Rainbow Manor?”
“Do you think I have nothing better to do than waste time at your Rainbow Manor?” Sanaa glanced at him.
“I can assure you, Rainbow Manor hasn’t captured your people. Please leave!” Reece Sanford frowned again and waved his hand.
“You’re quite humorous!” Sanaa’s tone shifted. “If you don’t want trouble at Rainbow Manor, let us in to search for ourselves!”
“Don’t push it!” Reece Sanford said sternly. “Though you’re strong, you’re injured. If we really fight, I might not fear you…”
“Idiot!” Sanaa interrupted him impatiently.
In an instant, she disappeared from her spot, and a sharp sword shot towards Reece Sanford like lightning.
“Don’t be arrogant!” Reece Sanford didn’t retreat. He shouted angrily and reached out to grab the sword.
The sword’s speed slowed down and stopped in mid-air, distorting the space around it.
“I told you, you’re injured. I might not…” Reece Sanford began but his expression suddenly changed, his pupils shrinking rapidly.
The next moment, the sword tore through the air again, moving so fast that he barely had time to react, only managing to shift half his body aside.
The sword flashed by, severing an arm that floated into the air, blood spurting out. Reece Sanford retreated a thousand meters away, his face pale.
“How is this possible?” He stopped the bleeding and looked at Sanaa in shock. “Your injury is healed?”
He knew well that even though he was only defending passively just now, he wouldn’t be a match for her even if they fought head-on!
Sanaa’s skills were clearly superior!
“Can you step aside now?” Sanaa asked calmly.
Reece Sanford opened his mouth.
“Sir…” At this moment, an old man in a blue robe hesitated before speaking.
“I remember now, Elder Terrell did bring four strange women back to his courtyard yesterday…”
Everyone turned to look at him upon hearing this.
“Are you sure?!” Reece Sanford frowned.
“Yes!” The old man in the blue robe nodded. “I saw it with my own eyes. I even asked Elder Terrell who those women were, and he said they were his new female disciples…”
“Go get Elder Terrell!” Reece Sanford frowned again.
“Okay!” The old man in the blue robe responded and left.
“Now you know I’m not here to cause trouble?” Sanaa looked at Reece Sanford.
“If Elder Terrell really captured your people, I’ll give you an explanation!” Reece Sanford took a deep breath and responded.
“Good!” Sanaa replied.
About a quarter of an hour later, the old man in the blue robe returned alone.
“Where is Elder Terrell?” Ralph Sanford asked him.
“Can’t find him!” The old man in the blue robe shook his head. “People said he wasn’t at his place since this morning. No one knows where he went. I tried contacting him but got no response…”
“Send out orders to find him immediately!” Reece Sanford said angrily.
“I’ve given the orders.” The old man in the blue robe responded.
“Miss Sanaa…” Reece Sanford exhaled and looked at Sanaa.
“Step aside, I’ll search myself!” Billy interrupted him.
“That might not be appropriate,” Ralph Sanford frowned slightly.
“You can try stopping me!” Billy glanced at him and walked towards the manor.
“You’re too much!” Ralph Sanford shouted angrily and was about to make a move.
“Stop!” Reece Sanford shouted. “Let him in!”
“Father…” Ralph Sanford looked at Reece Sanford.
“Step aside!” Reece Sanford repeated.
“… Fine.” Ralph Sanford opened his mouth but said nothing more, stepping aside with the others behind him.
“You better pray those four women are unharmed, or Rainbow Manor will be wiped from the seventh star domain!” Sanaa glanced at Reece Sanford before following Billy with Casey and Stout.
Soon, Billy and his group arrived at Elder Terrell’s courtyard and searched inside and out but found no one.
Then they went to the central square of the manor.
“Billy, stop searching. Harleen and the others aren’t in this manor!” Purple Spirit’s voice sounded in Billy’s mind. “If they were here, I’d be able to sense their presence!”
“Alright,” Billy replied.
He had actually scanned the entire manor himself and confirmed they weren’t there!
Years ago, he had placed a biological mark on Harleen. If she were within his spiritual power range, he would sense it to some extent.
“Miss Sanaa!” At this moment, Reece Sanford approached with Ralph Sanford and others.
“Have you found Elder Terrell?” Sanaa asked him.
“No, but we confirmed he’s dead!” Reece Sanford responded.
“What?” Billy and his group were stunned simultaneously.
“What do you mean?” Casey asked.
“All elders of Rainbow Manor leave a trace of their soul in the manor. If someone dies, their soul trace disappears!” Reece Sanford explained. “I just confirmed that Elder Terrell’s soul trace is gone…”
“What are you trying to say?” Sanaa continued before her sound transmission stone activated. She listened briefly then turned to Billy. “Your wife and the others are in Skyreach City!”
“Skyreach City?” Billy was taken aback.
“Yes!” Sanaa said before flying off. Billy and his group followed closely behind.
“Father, things are more complicated than we think!” Ralph Sanford said as he watched them leave. “Could someone be framing us?”
“It’s very likely!” A cold glint flashed in Reece Sanford’s eyes. “Whoever it is will pay for this!”
Meanwhile, Billy and his group rushed towards the teleportation channel at full speed.
“Sanaa, how do you know Harleen and the others are in Skyreach City?” Stout asked.
“The message was from Charity,” Sanaa replied. “She did another calculation half an hour ago and found they went to Skyreach City!”
“Boss, doesn’t this seem off?” Casey looked at Billy.
“Yes,” Billy nodded.
“It’s likely someone is trying to mislead us. First to Whitecloud Manor, then Rainbow Manor, now Skyreach City!”
“Damn, it does seem like that!” Stout cursed and turned to Sanaa. “Miss Sanaa, is Heaven Alliance’s headquarters in Skyreach City?”
“No,” Sanaa shook her head. “But Heaven Alliance has a branch there.”
“Then it’s probably Heaven Alliance behind this!” Stout responded. “Only they have such power…”
“Don’t forget there’s another force in Skyreach City!” Sanaa interrupted him.
“Miss Sanaa, are you referring to the Harmon family?” Casey asked after a brief pause.
“Yes,” Sanaa nodded. “Both Heaven Alliance and the Harmon family are possible!”
“Oh right, I forgot about the Harmon family!” Stout smacked his lips.
“Miss Sanaa, did Miss Charity mention where exactly Harleen and the others are in Skyreach City?” Casey asked again.
“She could only track them to Skyreach City. Once there, their traces vanished, likely erased intentionally,” Sanaa replied.
“We’ll check Skyreach City first,” Billy said before speeding up.
