Odin’s cross sword emitted powerful holy light, protecting him and resisting the blood light.
Rupert’s face changed slightly, and he shouted hoarsely and deeply again.
The blood light intensified, eroding the holy light protecting Odin, layer by layer, almost reaching Odin’s body.
At this moment, Odin’s chant was complete.
With a loud bang, Odin’s crossbow transformed into a massive sword arc, slashing down with countless rays of holy light.
The blood light shattered instantly under the sword arc, and Rupert screamed, turning into a blood mist and disappearing.
Seeing this, Leo’s face darkened. It seemed he had to intervene personally.
In the air, a flash of black light appeared, and Rupert, looking disheveled with bloodstains on his chest, appeared beside Leo, seemingly heavily injured.
“Stay back and watch,” Leo said without scolding him, shaking his black robe as he stepped forward.
“Show yourself if you’re a man,” Odin pointed at Leo, his face arrogant.
“Hmph, defeat me first,” Leo’s Spiritual Power surged from his body, spreading outwards.
Instantly, the barrier became scorching hot, as if everything was burning. The oppressive force made Odin and the three knights’ faces change.
Such strong momentum!
Odin’s face grew serious, and he shouted, “Wrath of God!”
With a loud bang, another sharp sword arc shot up to the sky, seemingly ready to tear Leo apart.
Leo moved his hands, and two fierce Firedrakes shot out from his wide sleeves, flying upwards with bared fangs and claws.
Boom!
A loud explosion followed by a distant dragon roar echoed in the sky.
The sharp sword arc shattered into pieces, disappearing along with the fire serpents in the air.
“That’s all?” Leo sneered coldly under his black robe.
Odin’s face turned pale, his breathing rapid. Summoning powerful holy forces three times had exhausted him greatly.
The three knights beside him saw Odin’s dire state and feared Leo would seize the opportunity to attack. They swiftly moved to shield Odin.
“Come at me together,” Leo said arrogantly.
The four knights exchanged solemn glances. “Comrades, let these heretics witness the true power of God!”
After a brief chant, the four knights crossed their cross swords together.
With a crisp sound, holy light surged from the four cross swords like a breached dam, rushing toward Leo with destructive force.
Leo stretched out his hands, and his black robe slid off like burning paper.
As Leo clasped his hands together and pushed forward, an intense cold burst from him like a tidal wave, sweeping towards the incoming holy light.
In the next second, an astonishing scene unfolded. The holy light charging at Leo froze in mid-air.
To be precise, it was encased in ice. The soft holy light looked magical and splendid due to the transparent ice crystals.
In the stunned expressions of the four knights, Leo lightly clenched his right hand.
A sound like shattering glass echoed as the frozen holy light turned into ice shards.
At the same moment the holy light shattered, the four knights spat blood and were thrown backward, landing on the ground, barely alive.
With a mere gesture, Leo easily defeated the four knights. Rupert was once again shocked by Leo’s immense power and felt fortunate to have followed him.
At this moment, the barrier split from the top and disappeared, returning them to the church scene.
The Grand Elder suddenly appeared opposite Leo, his old face heavy with concern.
“Grand Elder, do you want to challenge me too?” Leo asked with a cold smile.
“Young man, my name is Adrian. Your ability to easily defeat four guardian knights is indeed shocking. State your name,” Grand Elder Adrian said solemnly.
Leo smiled. “Grand Elder, I’m just a nobody. King Solomon’s treasure shouldn’t belong solely to Rothschild. Don’t you agree?”
“The House of Rupert is the guardian of the treasure’s secret. No matter how you learned this secret, you won’t get the treasure from me,” Adrian said coldly.
Leo mocked him. “Is your House of Rupert really just a guardian of the treasure?”
“Of course. The descendants of Yeliel hold loyalty as their highest honor!” Adrian said firmly.
“I doubt it. Can you deny that your House of Rupert hasn’t embezzled from the treasure?” Leo retorted sharply.
Adrian’s expression changed slightly as he defended himself. “I won’t deny that we used a small part of the treasure out of necessity to better guard it!”
Leo sneered. “Grand Elder, do you think I’ll believe your high-sounding words? To me, you’ve already treated King Solomon’s treasure as your private property. In the face of immense profit, all loyalty is weak.”
“Nonsense! You’re slandering God’s most loyal servants!” Adrian trembled with anger at Leo’s words.
“Grand Elder, stop pretending. When your House of Rupert used the treasure for personal gain, you ceased being its guardians.”
“Now that I know this secret, shouldn’t you hand over the treasure so we can divide it?”
“You devil sent by Satan!” Adrian was utterly enraged. “You will be cast into hell by Almighty God forever!”
The more furious Adrian became, the calmer Leo remained. “Grand Elder, don’t get agitated; it’s bad for your health at your age. I don’t want to make things difficult for you. Just hand over the treasure willingly.”
“Wishful thinking!” Adrian roared lowly. “Great and omnipotent Lord, grant me healing power to strengthen your loyal knights!”
After Adrian’s chant, a gentle holy light shot from his staff’s tip and split into four beams that shone on the four barely alive knights on the ground.
Three seconds later, the holy light vanished. The four knights suddenly leaped up from the ground, looking vigorous with no signs of injury.
Leo raised an eyebrow; he hadn’t expected Adrian’s healing abilities to be so strong.
“Noble and loyal knights, use all your strength to cast your enemies into hell forever!” Adrian commanded with his staff raised high.
