Everyone chuckled and Ava giggled. She raised herself off her mother’s shoulders and wanted to look elsewhere but Nancy pulled her into another long hug again.
Nancy wants to catch the affection of many years in just a few minutes. She doesn’t know how to explain it, but her heart yearns to hold her daughter for the entire day.
She’s not getting enough of her and when she feels Ava wants to go, she lets her go this time. She cupped her face and smiled broadly at her and the latter did the same with a tear filled face.
Ava shifted her gaze to her father, she didn’t need a formal introduction. Immediately she saw him, she felt an unexplainable familiarity with him. He is her father.
“Father” she said and walked into Simon’s arms too. She was short in height compared to her dad and she simply placed her head on his chest and he hugged her.
“Welcome home daughter” Simon Blake said. After twenty years, he has his daughter back. He thought he’d buried her, he thought he’d never get to see his daughter in this life, whereas destiny chose to play a fast one on him but gave him his daughter back.
Ava just sniffled. This is starting afresh. This is her real family but also the newest to her. She’s a Leon, she became a part of the Lester family and now, she’d found herself with the Blake’s.
“Can we go in now, everyone?” Santiago declared. There would be a lot of time for hugging and showing love. But first, they should go in.
Santiago led the way and Ava couldn’t believe the fleet of cars that was parked in the distance. She saw the entrance was decorated in a grand decor.
Is her real family royalty? Their wealth seemed to surpass the Lester’s. Nancy now held her hand firmly as she led her through the front door and they stepped in.
Ava held her breath. The sitting room was massive with an exquisite cushion. The walls were glittering and she couldn’t tell if they were glass like emulsion used on the wall.
The ceiling was beyond explanation, she found no words to describe them except that the ceiling had inbuilt lights and the golden chandelier was massive, emitting different lights. The entire sitting was sparkling with bright glowing lights and the centre table was made of pure transparent glass.
The letter “B” was embroidered on each of the sofas and the floor was made of the best marble that Ava had ever seen.
The giant Wall TV was hung at a strategic place that everyone could easily see. The stairs were made of spiral designs with beautiful golden rails.
She was still glancing at the beautiful architectural work of the sitting room when she heard a feminine voice “Hello everyone”
Santiago turned and smiled broadly. He stared at the woman descending the stairs with admiration. “My love” he said and walked over to meet her midway.
Ava watched as Santiago circled his hands around her waist and pulled her into a tight hug. He bent over and kissed her lips briefly. Next he caressed her hair and said “I missed you my love”
A sight that brought tears to Ava’s eyes. So much love is on display. It doesn’t seem strange or out of place before others that Santiago was all over his woman showering her with love except her.
Is this really possible, that a man loves his wife so much? How she wished that Adrian Lester would just spare her a glance, just a glance and nothing else.
“Come over, meet my sister” Santiago said, pulling her over, with his hand around her waist. He seemed to have missed her so much.
“Hi, my name is Charlotte,” She said, hugging Ava. She’s a beautiful blonde with a slim sexy body. She smiled broadly as she hugged Ava.
“My name is Ava” Ava introduced herself. Everyone in Blake’s house seemed to be addicted to happiness and smiles. Ava couldn’t help it, their smiles are contagious.
“She’s my fiance, Ava and we love each other” Santiago said, shifting his gaze on Charlotte, staring at her dotingly.
She’s beautiful Santiago. Nice meeting you Charlotte” Ava said. His fiance? They’re not even married yet and he was all over her. Why did her own life take such a turn?
Quickly, Ava and Charlotte formed a bond. Together with Nancy, Ava was taken to her room. When she stepped in, she knew indeed, she’d arrived home for real.

In New Jersey, Adrian Lester just stared at Alice in a daze. Why is he getting to know so much within the shortest time and when it was late for him to make an amendment?
His baby? Ava was pregnant with his child and she died with it. What has he done, why did he tread this path? Why did he let his emotions take over his reasoning?
“It’s late, Adrian. You can now see the extent to which you pushed that woman, until you ended her life? You forgot that she was someone else’s daughter and you were merciless towards her.
How does it feel now, to know that as you hurt Ava, you’re doing it to your own unborn child. It’s a pathetic situation for you Adrian, that you do not even know that you made love to your own wife.
Your hatred for her wouldn’t let you see correctly. And now, the deed has been done. You have satisfied yourself in your hatred. Go ahead with Lola, at least if for nothing, you’re happy that Ava Leon is dead and you can now be with her” Richard Lester snapped at him.
Anna Lester was quiet as if her mind had stopped working. All that just happened was all her fault. She was the one who got Ava arrested and not Adrian.
Now, her grandchild is gone. This is entirely not Adrian’s fault but chiefly her fault. If she hadn’t arrested her, perhaps Adrian wouldn’t do it because his grandfather hadn’t died.
“I’ll wait for your father to be a bit recovered and I’ll leave sir” Alice declared and left. She’s happy that she told Adrian about his unborn baby.
She saw the tears, the shock and the pain of realising that he lost an unborn baby. She’s happy that he’s like that, that’s how every parent feels about their child.
And that’s what made Clara Leon to be lying on the hospital bed unconscious at the moment. She hates him more than the devil himself. Anna Lester had raised a son after her evilness.
Karma is definitely going to visit everyone and pay them back for what they’ve done. Adrian Lester will pay dearly for what he’d done to Sam Leon and his daughter, sending them to their early graves.
“Aren’t we going to the burial again?” Richard demanded, glaring at his son with irritation. If Ava hadn’t been a responsible woman and respectful when she was alive, he would have left Adrian to handle the funeral alone.
Adrian Lester nodded. He would get her buried in a dignified way if maybe he would be able to atone for his sins a bit.
As they stood before the grave, Adrian Lester apologised “Please forgive me, Ava. I beg you, please forgive me”
