I looked around me, and everyone’s eyes were glowing.
I then faced Wendy, who was unconscious on the ground.
I took a step towards Wendy when my brother held me back.
“Not one step closer, redhead.”
“Soren.” I muttered as he stepped closer to me with a wicked grin. “She does not belong to you. Stop acting like she belongs to you, alone. Son of a bitch.”
“What-”
“You’ve always known she was ours to begin with.” Zane turned to me. “Give her to us. When she wakes up, she’s gonna fucking realize who she belongs to.”
“What are you guys up to? Why is she unconscious? What did you guys do to her?!”
“You said we should all wait till she turns 18. Have you forgotten so soon, Aiden?” Lykan walked up to me with a smirk. “I don’t want to hear any of your lectures about not fucking a pedophile. She’s of age. I can have her and fuck her to death. I hope her virginity is still intact, Aiden.”
I clenched my fist, ready to punch the hell out of him.
If I lose my cool, everyone would know what is going on immediately. Almost everyone in the clan is watching us. Can’t they see what is happening?
“This little shit is our mate.” Lucian came forward and walked up to her. “I can’t believe this.” He looked at her for a second and kicked her so hard beneath the stomach.
“Lucian! STOP!” I yelled and almost ran after him when Lykan grabbed my hair, pulled me back and punched me so hard across the face.
“Pull your shit together. I told you before, didn’t I? She belongs to all of us. Whatever we do to her, you have no choice but to stand by our side and watch the show. Playtime is over.” Lykan laughed and left me.
He went over to Wendy and also kicked her beneath the stomach.
Wendy cried out with a gasp and rolled to the ground in tears.
Riot stepped forward with his eyes still glowing. He carried Wendy up and slapped her hard across the face.
Lucian dusted his cigarettes on her neck with a smirk, ignoring Wendy’s screams.
“Stop! You guys should fucking stop.” I shouted and lunged at them when Donovan grabbed from my shoulders and gripped it with his claws.
He dug his claws into my shoulders and pulled me to kneel on the floor.
I gritted my teeth from shouting in pain, yet everyone had noticed what was going on.
They all stared at us and did nothing to help the situation.
“If you move an inch, I will dislocate your shoulders. Stay put or lose both of your arms. Choose one.”
“Donovan-” I murmured.
“Shut the fuck up. I don’t care if she dies. Don’t try it. Don’t tell me to save her. That’s not gonna happen.” He hushed and further pressed me down to my knees.
“Can’t you see they are about to kill her? Are you gonna stand there and do nothing? They are gonna kill her and you want me to stand by and do nothing?”
“I don’t care. You know if Sihwa was here, he would do worse than this. We all know that. Don’t tell me to stop.”
Lucian lit five of his cigarettes and pressed the five of them on Wendy’s neck with a grin. “This is not enough.” He muttered.
“We haven’t even started yet.” Soren hit her on her cheeks and brought out a dagger. He lit it up in a fire with the powers of magic for ten seconds and quenched it.
He then pressed the knife to Wendy’s waist.
I tried to move, but I couldn’t.
Zane also got to Wendy and was unbuckling his trousers.
“No! No! Don’t do it.” I screamed.
Gerhard stepped forward with a dark look and touched Donovan’s arm.
“If she dies, I will never forgive you.”
“Are you threatening me, Gerhard?!”
“No,” Gerhard shook his head. “I’m not. She’s an Omega and watching everyone maltreat someone like me is cruel. She’s screaming badly. Our father and our stepmother are not doing anything about it. They are just watching. Donovan.” His shaky voice called out to him as his tears dropped to the ground. “You are the only one that can stand close to them. You can stop them. Please, don’t let her die. She has a good heart. If she dies, I will never forgive myself.”
“What are you? 16?!”
“I’m 24 years old, Donovan. I’m not 16 anymore.”
“Gerhard, stay out of this.”
“I’m already in it. She’s my mate too and an Omega. I can feel every pain she’s feeling, Donovan. They are hurting me, too.”
“Gerhard, don’t guilt-trip me. I don’t have the time for-”
“Yes, you do, Donovan. If you don’t save her, I will cut all ties with you,” he shouted and for the first time in my life, Donovan listened to someone and took his claws off me.
He looked at Gerhard and cupped his face with both hands.
“Don’t you ever say those words to me, ever again.” He whispered. “I wouldn’t forgive you either, if you say such a thing to me again.”
“I wouldn’t say it again but save Wendy.” Gerhard begged and went down on his knees.
“Will you-” Donovan paused and gave out a long sigh.
My blurry eyes hurt a little when I opened them and saw Gerhard sitting beside me with his head down.
I wondered what was going on and why he was suddenly with me.
Then my memories flashed before me, and I remembered everything that had transpired the previous night.
“Wendy.” I yelled and jerked out of the bed.
Gerhard pulled me to sit down on the bed, and the look on his face wasn’t good. Could something have happened while I was unconscious?
“Calm down. You just got injected with those heavy drugs. The doctor says you should take a good rest.”
“What happened to Wendy?” I questioned, and Gerhard looked away from me with a long sigh. “Answer me. Where is everyone?” I got up from the bed and walked past him to go see Wendy.
“Stop taking sides, Aiden. You would get hurt.”
I stopped in my tracks and looked back at him.
“What do you mean?”
“Stop taking Wendy’s side. She’s everyone’s mate now. She’s not a kid. You can’t protect her anymore.”
“Did you know she was your mate, too?”
“I found out on the day I hugged her 8 years ago when I took a break from school.”
“Why? Why didn’t you say anything?” I questioned, and he just shrugged his shoulders.
