“Huh!”
“If I were you, I would mind my business and stay out of everyone’s lane. You never know what might happen if you keep getting involved with these alphas. They are only your step brothers, not your biological brothers. If you keep getting mixed up with them, you are gonna get yourself in big trouble, honey.”
Is he furious at me?
“Stuff in these households is not always what they seem. You are just a child and in a matter of time, if you don’t get smart, they will suck you in.” He left the counter and took two steps towards me. “I’m going to warn you because you are a naive, dumb, little bitch, who lives and dwells in her fantasy, in which the hyenas have created with her illusions. You know nothing about everyone here, so I will only warn you. Be careful of everyone here. No one likes you. They are just being friendly to you because of your stepfather.”
“No, that’s not true.” I muttered.
“Yes, it is. Little bitch.” He rolled his eyes and continued. “Everyone in this household is twisted in the head. Everyone is a narc and a psychopath, waiting for their next prey to come before them. And you are their next prey. They want you. Your scent is incredible, sexual and tense. Look at yourself in the mirror. You are curvy and beautiful with those long dark purple hairs waving sideways as you walk. You are a child and they are already on the verge of devouring you. Do you know what your scent does to them? Have you ever perceived your scent? Anywhere you step on or sit on, smells of you. Everywhere you go reeks of you. They want you and as soon as you don’t learn how to stay away from them and stick to your boundaries, they will fuck you up. Remember, they are alphas and alphas are visual beings.”
I couldn’t get a grip of what he was talking about.
“No, they are nice. They can…can never-”
“Exactly, honey. They can never do that, but they can.” He folded his arms across his chest again when he dropped them. “It seems like you still can’t tell what you are to me, to them. You are our little wolf and they can all perceive it. Yet, they kept mute and acted dumb. And the only reason you haven’t noticed is because you can’t hear from your wolf, isn’t it?”
“Umm…My mom said once I turn 18-”
“That would take a long time, then. I would advise you to stay away from them. Whatever happens to you is your business, not mine.” He took a step closer. “If you don’t stay away from them, Wendy, they will rape you as soon as they lose control. They will strip off all these clothes from your body and do as they wish with you. And by the time you wanna get back up on your feet, you will realize you are broken into pieces. It will already be too late to fight back because by then, you will be soul-tied and bound to them, that any little detachment will kill you. They crave for you and want to be between your legs. They wanna claim you so bad. Can’t you feel the intensity of their pheromones? Of course, you don’t know the web you are on. Look at Donovan. For instance, he almost lost control because of you. The minute he perceived you, he closed his nose with a glare and ordered you out of his sight. Aiden almost lost control and Zane is going insane. Axel is trying to act cool with his devious ways for you to soften around him. Tyson doesn’t wanna give a damn about you because he thinks if he acts rude to you, you will hate him and he would do the same in return and then he wouldn’t be able to like you.”
“No.” I muttered, refusing to believe any word he was saying to me.
“I stayed here for a day and I could sense everything that was going on. You are not in a safe place. This is a sodom and Gomorrah zone. If I were you, I would tell your mom to enroll you in an excellent boarding school until you’ve turned 18. And buy some suppressant and put your scent in a tight box. If you don’t want to be raped.” He leaned closer to me as I took a few steps back away from him.
“I hope when they come at you, you should have the strength to step back like what you are doing now and the look of fear on your face should change their mind about them fucking you. The only wolf you should rely on is Gerhard. He is a gentle soul, and he is an Omega, just like you. He is the only one who can help you. Though he is not innocent, he’s got some conscience. Be careful, Wendy Grimwolf.” He chuckled and walked out of the kitchen.
Standing in the same spot, I took my juice and glass cup and walked to my room and shut the door.
I clicked it shut with the key on its opening and rushed to the bed and sat down with my pillow and my knees to my chest.
That day, I could not get Kellan’s words off my head and the next day, I heard he had left.
Kellan and Donovan went back to the states.
Gerhard went back to school without saying goodbye to me.
And I never saw them again afterwards.
The funniest part of it all was that it broke me apart.
I don’t know why I felt awful when he left, but their absence created this emptiness in me.
I don’t know why I miss them when they were so rude to me and never seemed to like me.
Only…only Kellan seemed to respect me a little and his advice- I don’t know what to think of it.
But one thing’s for sure, I know they will never take advantage of me.
Maybe he was just overly concerned for no reason, I don’t know, he scared me and I hated feeling like a burden and a curse.
A couple of weeks later, I met my two stepsisters who were nothing but devils.
My life with my siblings was nothing pleasing but a facade.
Except for Aiden.
And Kellan’s words kept taunting me, and I realized I truly needed to stay away from them.
8 years later, I was in my final year, ready to graduate from highschool and get enroll into college.
Life was grand with my best friends beside me in school and I had perfect lives with them.
And my life with my step brothers was amusing and annoying, but I sort of got along with them.
There were times I wished I didn’t live with them and had taken Kellan’s idea instead and got enrolled in a boarding school.
