3rd person’s POV
The battlefield was a chaos of snarling wolves, clashing swords, and the thick scent of blood. The Bloodmoon Pack’s southern border had erupted into violence as rogues poured in from the trees, catching them off guard. While Dimitri fought the rogue leader in a fierce with Maksim and Zane, the rest of the pack was locked in a brutal struggle to defend their territory.
The rogue leader had turned back on his words of seizing the attack on Bloodmoon Pack if Dimitri won the fight against him and his second in command, immediately Maksim see Dimitri is win, he signaled his men to attack the Bloodmoon Pack.
Kate stood at the front lines, her heart pounding in her chest. The air was thick with tension, the sounds of the battle surrounding her, but her mind was sharp, focused. The rogues must not overrun them-she had to step up, not just as Dimitri’s Luna but as a warrior in her own right.
Beside her, Louis growled low in his throat as he prepared to defend against the incoming wave of rogues. “Stay close,” he warned, his eyes scanning the trees for movement. “This is going to be fierce.”
Kate nodded, Her wolf is getting stronger every day, with every fight and every challenge. She could feel the pull of her inner beast, its strength coiling in her muscles,
The rogue lunged at her, fangs bared and claws extended, but Kate didn’t flinch. Her reflexes were fast now. She ducked under his swipe and delivered a powerful kick to his side, sending him crashing into the dirt.
The rogue snarled in pain, but before he could recover, Kate was already on him. She shifted into her wolf form in a fluid motion, Her fangs sank into the rogue’s shoulder, she pinned him to the ground.
With a sharp twist of her jaws, she ended the rogue’s life, the fight over in seconds. But there was no time to rest. More rogues were charging from the treeline, their eyes wild with bloodlust, and the pack needed her.
Louis glanced over at her, a look of surprise flashing across his face, Kate is getting stronger very fast.
The warriors of the Bloodmoon Pack are fighting valiantly, but the rogues were relentless. They came in waves, their numbers overwhelming. The rogues are using sword in this attack. And the warriors are well ready for them as they also draw out their swords, cutting down the rogues with every clash of sword.
As the next wave of rogues charged, Kate’s wolf surged forward with renewed energy. She tore through the line of enemies, her claws ripping through flesh, her strength unmatched. She fought with precision and ferocity, a blur of silver fur and deadly speed. The pack had always respected her as Luna, they had witness her growth right from the beginning, and how she had been fighting relentlessly and yet again now they are seeing her as something more than they had expected her to be. A warrior. A leader. A force to be reckoned with.
Louis fought beside her, the two of them forming an unbreakable line as they held the southern border. He was a seasoned warrior, his movements calculated and brutal, but even he was taken aback by Kate’s strength. She was no longer the fragile woman the pack had once known-she had become a fierce protector of the Bloodmoon Pack, and she was just as deadly as any of them.
All the warriors are charging with great effort, most of their Men are recovering from the injury they hard suffered during the last battles, some are at the clinic being tend to.
“Kate!” Louis shouted, pulling her attention back to the battle. A group of rogues had broken through the line, heading straight for the heart of the pack’s territory. If they weren’t stopped, the pack’s most vulnerable members would be in danger.
Without hesitation, Kate shifted back into her human form, her silver eyes flashing with determination. “I’ll take them,” she said, her voice steady despite the chaos around her. “You hold the line.”
Louis nodded, trusting her without question. “Go. We’ll handle things here.”
Kate didn’t waste a second. She took off in a sprint, her speed enhanced by the power of her wolf. The trees blurred past her as she raced after the rogues, her senses heightened, every sound and movement sharp in her mind. She could hear the growls of the rogues ahead, their footsteps pounding through the forest as they made their way toward the pack’s heart.
But Kate wasn’t going to let them get there.
Her wolf surged within her, pushing her forward with incredible speed. In one fluid motion, she shifted again, her body rippling into her wolf form as she caught up to the rogues. They hadn’t expected her to follow, and the surprise on their faces was clear as she descended on them like a force of nature.
She took down the first rogue with ease, her fangs sinking into his neck as she ripped him to the ground. The others tried to scatter, but Kate was faster. She moved like lightning, her claws slashing through the air as she cut them down one by one.
The last rogue tried to fight back, his claws swiping at her in desperation, but Kate was too strong. She dodged his attack and pounced, her wolf snarling as she pinned him to the forest floor. His eyes were wide with fear, and for a moment, Kate hesitated.
With a final growl, Kate ended the rogue’s life, her claws tearing through his throat. The forest fell silent around her, Kate’s heart was still racing, her wolf still on edge.
As she stood there, panting from the fight, she heard footsteps behind her. She turned to see Louis approaching, his face grim but impressed. “You did it,” he said, nodding to the fallen rogues around her. “You fought well.”
Kate shifted back into her human form, her silver eyes meeting Louis’s. “We all did,” she said, her voice steady despite the adrenaline still coursing through her veins. “But it’s not over yet.”
Louis nodded, understanding the weight of her words. The battle may have been won, but the war was far from over. The rogues had tested their defenses, and though they had been repelled yet, there would be more threats to come.
But as Louis looked at Kate, he knew that the Bloodmoon Pack had something powerful on their side. Kate’s strength, her determination, and her growing leadership had already earned her the respect of the pack. She wasn’t just Dimitri’s Luna anymore-she was a warrior, a leader, and a beacon of hope for the pack’s future.
“You’re stronger than any of us gave you credit for,” Louis said, a rare smile touching his lips. “The pack is lucky to have you.”
“Thank you,” she responded.
Kate glanced back toward the heart of the territory, where Dimitri was still fighting the rogue leaders. “Dimitri needs us,” she said, her resolve hardening. “And I’m not going to let anyone take our pack down.”
With that, she turned and headed back toward the battlefield, ready to engage in fight again with everything she had.
As the pack regrouped, they could feel a shift in the air. The battle had tested them all, but it had also revealed something important: Kate’s inner strength. The pack had always seen her as Dimitri’s mate, the Luna destined to stand by his side. But now they saw her for what she truly was-a fierce protector, a leader with the heart of a warrior.
And as they stay on the alert, and tighten up the defense, they knew the rogues are not gone yet they only went to regroup for another attack, but the warriors knew one thing for certain: with Kate fighting alongside them, they were stronger than ever.
As the battle continued, the injured warriors are falling and becoming unconscious immediately.
Everyone became wary and terrified, they had not expected the injury will affect the Men.
what is going on, Kate yelled out as she watch their Men fall.
“The sword had been laced with poison,” Louis said.
He immediately send a message across to the rest of the warriors through pack mind-link, Some of the warriors start rescuing the unconscious warriors, while the rest continue to held back the rogues as they kept surging out of the forest with full force.
More warriors from the other end of the border had come to join the battle going on at the southern border.
The rogues have really come prepared, they really want to destroy the Bloodmoon Pack as they had challenged, they are forging forward relentlessly.
And the Bloodmoon warriors are becoming more susceptible due to the poison they had laced the sword with.
Kate lunged at another rogue, her claws extended and her fangs bared. She fought effortlessly as she cut down the rogue with her claws, she transformed into her human form, she draws out a silver sword slashing it through the air against every rogues that charged at her.
After bringing down three rogues with her sword, she noticed they are not fighting her with their swords, then she grabbed yet another rogue this time around she held on to him, why are you not fighting me with your sword, she inquired.
We are following your father’s request, the rogue muttered,
“Well, you all are making a big mistake,” because I won’t spare any of you, Kate growled and slit the rogues throat with her sword.
