3rd person’s POV
The sun shines through the window, Alpha Damien stood by the window of his office, the Door fling open causing Alpha Damien to turn.
Two elders stormed into his office, anger written over their faces,
“How dare you,” one of the Elders snarled.
How dare you plot with the rogues to launch an attack on the Bloodmoon Pack and the Werewolf Council, why have you let your greed took over your sense.
Alpha Damien didn’t flinch, he acted as though he had not noticed or heard the elders.
You dare not ignore us while we speak, the second elder strode forward moving closer to Damien.
We will report this to the council immediately and inform them we and the entire pack are not with you on this.
Alpha Damien with his full force lunged at the Elder, you would do no such thing, he growl.
And let this be the last time you would ever come to my office to question my authority or my actions.
And if you try to get this whatever you know out of this pack, I will ensure I wipe out your entire generation off this earth, Damien threatened throwing the elder to the floor.
Now I want you both out of my office, he yelled.
The elders stormed out meeting Kayden and Sir Orion the lead warrior at the door.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you, they said and gave both Kayden and Orion a lasting disdainful look.
Kayden and Orion took their sit,
” what was that all about,” Kayden asked.
They were here to give their stupid warnings as usual, Damien responded with a wicked grin.
” I received a visit request from Maksim,” Alpha Damien said as he raised his gaze up to look at Kayden who is now sitting across to him and he requested to see me alone.
“I don’t think that is a good idea,” Kayden said with a firm voice, perhaps I and Sir Orion could follow you and stay out of sight some distance away from the meeting point should in case needs arises.
“There will be no need for that,” Damien said, in Maksim is too smart to act recklessly, he needs us, he needs our resources to take down Dimitri, which is why I will not be handling over all the informations I have on the Bloodmoon Pack to him.
“Alright then,” Kayden responded.
“We are meeting in the evening,” so help me get the vehicle I will take to the meeting point ready.
The door flunged open one more time, Alpha Damien growled in anger, and who the hell is that, he yelled out before he sees the person standing at his door way,
A sudden silence filled the air as Dimitri raised his head to see who is standing at his door.
It was Madam Elena, his only surviving sister, and blood aside Kate.
“And did I hear you are plotting,” Madam Elena inquired as she strode in.
“Good afternoon,” Alpha Damien greeted ignoring her question then turned to his gaze back to the map in his hands.
“Don’t you dare ignore me,” Madam Elena snapped, slamming her hands on the table.
“And since when did you start caring about how I run my affairs,” Damien retorted.
“Since you decide to put us all in jeopardy,” she snarled. since you decide to put what our parents built all their lives at risk, just for your greed. “This is treason, Damien,” why did have let your greed blind you.
Alpha Damien ignored all her questions.
What about Kate, She said with a shaky voice. The Alpha of the Bloodmoon Pack is her Mate, the Bloodmoon Pack is her home. She is your only Blood
Alpha Damien smirked, looking up from the Map and locking gaze with Madam Elena. You never wanted her, he muttered, you didn’t accept her when I brought her home, so why now, is it because she is now a strong wolf.
Madam Elena turned pale, the guilt shown on her face, she had refused to take Kate when Damien brought her home as a new born, “I will not take that Half Breed as my blood” she had said.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you, she snapped and sprang out of Damien’s office slamming the door behind her.

The night was enveloped in shadows, and the woodland was dense with an oppressive silence that seemed to strangle any sound that dared to disrupt the serenity. The air was thick with anxiety as Alpha Damien came into the shadowy clearing, the full moon throwing an eerie glow on the gnarled trees around him. His wolf senses were on high alert, amplifying every sound in the silence of the night. He had arrived alone, as the rogue leader had requested, but he wasn’t dumb enough to believe that the rogues hadn’t concealed in the darkness, waiting for a sign of betrayal.
The meeting site was a tiny clearing deep in the forest, away from prying eyes.
Damien’s heart raced, but his countenance was inscrutable. He had developed his reputation as one of the most powerful Alphas in the werewolf country. He had no intention of letting these rogues believe they could scare him.
The sound of branches shattering underfoot grabbed his attention, and someone appeared from among the woods. Tall, shrouded, and emanating a sense of threat that made Damien’s wolf snarl in his head. This was Maksim, the notorious rogue leader who is building a strong force of rogues in power and size. His appearance carried the same violent force as his reputation.
Alpha Damien and Maksim have only been communicating through messages and this would be their first meeting in person.
Maksim moved forward, a twisted grin creeping over his lips. “Alpha Damien,” he said, his voice low and gravelly. “I trust you didn’t keep me waiting long?”
Alpha Damien grinned, but did not reply to the taunt. Instead, he crossed his arms, his gaze sharpening as he examined the rogue. “I am here. “What do you want, Maksim?”
Maksim grinned darkly and circled Damien like a creature pursuing its prey. His stare sparkled with hate, yet there was also impatience. “You’ve promised me much, Damien,” he said me. “Territory, power, the opportunity to destroy the Werewolf Council and reclaim what is rightly ours. But my tolerance is becoming thin.”
Damien’s gaze shifted to the surrounding woods, where several more rogues lingered just out of sight. He knew Maksim would not arrive without his bag, given what they had planned. “I’ve kept my word so far,” Damien answered coldly. “I’ve been giving you information about Bloodmoon, so far. But just as you know the Bloodmoon Pack isn’t any Pack you could just access without proper plan. And also I have been hearing of your attacks at their border, but You’ve been unable to infiltrate them. Once we are able to get Dimitri and the Bloodmoon pack out of the way, an attack on the Council will be an easy task for us, and the Silverwood Trees will be ours. You’ll get your portion when the time comes. All you just have to do is be patient and everything will fall in place soon.
Maksim grin faded, replaced by a frown. “Soon is not good enough. My Men are restless. They want action right now. If you don’t move quickly, I may take matters into my own hands.”
Alpha Damien clinched his hands at his sides, fighting the impulse to let his wolf take control. He couldn’t afford to lose control in this situation, especially with so much at risk. “If you act too soon, you’ll ruin everything,” I told you. “You think you can defeat Bloodmoon without my help? What would happen without my information? “You’d get slaughtered.”
Maksim roared, his eyes glowing yellow as his wolf threatened to emerge. “Do not underestimate me, Alpha.
I was able to escape the last battle because I always know my way out when the need be.”
“Then trust me,” Damien whispered quietly and dangerously. “The moment will come, but we to be careful and patient. The Council hadn’t noticed yet, they still thought the attack from the rogues on the Bloodmoon Pack was just a random rogue attack.
Maksim scowled, obviously dissatisfied with Damien’s assurances. “What if you’re wrong?” If you’re not strong enough to keep your word? Damien, I and my Men will not wait forever. We cannot. We have previously suffered for your loss, sacrificed soldiers, and received little in return. “My men demand results.”
Damien’s eyes narrowed as his tolerance wore thin. He had no intention of letting these rogues dictate the terms of their union, but Maksim was a necessary evil in his strategy to bring down the Werewolf Council. Without the rogue pack’s assistance, his attack on Bloodmoon may fail, and Dimitri’s warriors would reunite and rebuild power. He had to play this cautiously.
“Maksim,” Damien replied softly, moving closer to him. “I understand your frustration, but quitting now would be a mistake. If you believe you can defeat Bloodmoon on your own, feel free to do so. But when they crush your bag underfoot, don’t come crawling back to me for help.”
Maksim’s lips tightened into a scowl, his sharp teeth gleaming in the moonlight. “Protection?” he spit. “I do not need your protection, Damien. My Men are stronger than you think. We had survived the last battle, the hunters, and any other threat that has come our way. “What makes you believe we will fail now?”
Damien’s expression stiffened. “Because you aren’t battling just any pack. Dimitri leads Bloodmoon. He is not a weak alpha who can be easily intimidated or overpowered. If you go in without a good strategy, you will fail. And it is not a risk you want to take.
Maksim’s eyes narrowed, and for a minute, the two of them looked each other down, the air between them heavy with unsaid threats. Maksim finally gave a low growl and took a step back, but his eyes remained furious.
“You make a point, Damien,” Maksim said grudgingly. “But know this: If you don’t act soon, I will. And when I do, you will not be able to stop me.”
Damien nodded once and clinched his jaw. “Fine. Let me give you this, these are some more information I have gathered on the Bloodmoon Pack, this will give you information on their security and how to infiltrate them, you will be getting more information soon enough. “Just follow the plan, and we’ll both get what we want.”
Maksim looked around the area, scouring the shadows for his men. Then, without saying anything further, he turned and vanished into the trees, his companions joining him in the darkness.
Damien watched him go, his thoughts racing with the consequences of the rogue leader’s warning. Maksim was becoming impatient, which might be disastrous. If the rogues acted too quickly, it might disrupt the entire scheme and expose Damien to the Council’s and Bloodmoon’s fury.
He needed to move swiftly to gain control of the situation before it spun out of control. But one thing was clear: Maksim was not going to wait indefinitely. And if Damien doesn’t act quickly, the rogue leader may decide to take matters into his own hands, consequences be damned.
But there was no time to dwell on it now. Damien had more pressing concerns, such as ensuring Maksim and his men remained loyal long enough for their raid on Bloodmoon to be successful.
Turning on his heel, Damien began the long journey back to his pack’s territory, his mind racing with plans and contingencies. The stakes had never been greater, and one error might bring their entire scheme crashing down in front of him.
But Damien wasn’t going to let it happen. Not when he was so close to attaining his goals.
As Damien began his return to his pack’s territory, his senses detected faint footsteps that were too light to be those of the rogues. He halted, surveying the trees surrounding him, his heart racing. Someone was observing him.
A glint of movement drew his attention, and before he could respond, a shadow rushed across the woodland, disappearing into the darkness.
Damien’s blood became chilly. Someone had spied on him.
