3rd person’s POV
Back at Twilight Fang Pack,
Since the decision of the Werewolf Council and the Breaking of Alliance Alpha Damien have been boiling with resentment towards the Bloodmoon Pack, his silence after sending the Challenge letter to them might have make them think he was just bluffing.
The Silverwood Trees were more than simply a resource to Alpha Damien. Damien’s intentions to take over the ancient forest even with pack elders being against it relied heavily on his decision to expand the Twilight Fang territory and also the discovery of the Silverwood Trees which has a magical characteristics, which were said to boost a wolf’s strength and healing skills.
And with the taking over of the Ancient Forest was successful, Dimitri breaking his Alliance and Kate sending a letter denouncing him as her Father and the entire Twilight Fang pack, Alpha Damien’s pride had been hurt, and that wound had grown into a fervent desire for vengeance.
And he has been looking for ways to launch an attack on the Bloodmoon Pack without being at the losing end, and attract the wrath of the Werewolf Council since they have also sent a warning to him not to try challenge the Bloodmoon Pack.
Alpha Damien sat on his chair in his office, his fingers agitatedly pounding against the armrest.
Since the day he heard of a rogue attack on the Bloodmoon Pack, he had been overjoyed.
Kayden, his Beta, walked in with a hesitant expression. anxiety rising in the air.
“We’ve been humiliated,” Damien said, his voice filled with hatred. “Those fools on the Council will regret getting themselves involve in the affairs of the Ancient Forest. They believe they can weaken me and make me submit to their will. But they don’t know what’s coming.”
Kayden nodded, his voice measured as he stated. “Since our attempt to take over the forest was unsuccessful, we must find another strategy to get what we want.”
Damien’s eyes shone with a menacing brightness. “I have already begin making fresh arrangements. And I’ve discovered the ideal person to help us get what we want.”
Kayden tensed as Damien spoke, his brow furrowing. “Someone to help us? “Who is the person Alpha?”
Damien reclined back in his chair, a sadistic smile spreading over his lips. “The rogues.” They’re regrouping, and their new leader, Maksim, is more ambitious than most. He is a brother of Zeus who escaped during the battle, he is back to take avenge his brother’s death on the Dimitri and the Werewolf Council, and he doesn’t care about the taking over back the Ancient Forest, this gives us an advantage, he take out the Werewolf Council, and we take control of the Ancient Forest.
Kayden’s brow furrowed, that is a dangerous strategy Alpha.
Dealing with rogues was a perilous business. They were unpredictable, aggressive, and frequently change loyalty. But Damien didn’t appear to care. In his opinion, they were a tool-a means to a goal.
“Alpha,” he said, his voice full of alarm. “Rogues are unstable. If we join forces with them, we risk more than just our reputation. “They could turn on us at any time.”
Damien’s smile faded as he stared at Kayden with icy, hateful eyes. “Do you think I’m a fool?” His voice was low and intimidating. “I understand the hazards. However, Maksim is not like the others. He’s not a mindless rogue looking for territory. He has a vision, and it coincides with mine.
Kayden moved uneasily. “What exactly did you promise him?”
A knock from the door draw their attention from the conversation, the door opened and Sir Orion, the Twilight Fang lead warrior stepped in.
Orion took his sit just beside Kayden, he gave a slight bow to greet Damien and Kayden as he sits.
Damien smiled again, darker this time. “Territory. Once we destabilze the Bloodmoon Pack Maksim and his rogues will have a part to live and a base from which to expand their numbers. In exchange, they’ll assist us in eliminating Dimitri and anybody else who stands in our way, as well as taking down the Werewolf Council and we will gain power over the Silverwood Trees.”
The mention of the Bloodmoon Pack caused another ripple of of feeling in Kayden. Dimitri’s pack was powerful, and his alliance with other Lycan and werewolf packs made them a deadly adversary. However, Damien’s fixation with acquiring control of the Silverwood Trees had blinded him to the dangers.
Orion cleared his throat to speak “Alpha, even with the rogues’ assistance, taking on the Bloodmoon Pack is no easy task. Dimitri’s pack is formidable, and he is associated with numerous others. We could be launching a war we can’t win, He said.
Damien’s eyes widened with irritation. “Orion, you underestimate the strength of numbers. The rogues have grown under Maksim’s guidance. They are desperate, hungry, and ready to show themselves. He has employ the use of Magic. And with their number with the right strategy on the Bloodmoon Pack they can overrun the Bloodmoon Pack .”
Don’t forget most packs are still recovering from the aftermath of the last battle, so support to the Bloodmoon Pack from other packs will not be as fast as before. And most packs will also be trying to keep their pack safe.
And with my plan of just providing the Information and strategies on how they will be infiltrate the Bloodmoon Pack, no one will find out we are working with rogues.
And how do you intend to get the information on Bloodmoon Pack, Orion inquired.
“Leave that to me, I will find my way to get it.” Alpha Damien said.
Kayden, ever careful, spoke out again. “And what happens next?” If we finally have access to the Ancient Forest and take control of part of the Bloodmoon Pack’s territory, we will be sitting on a ticking time bomb. Other packs will will get to find out we’re working with the rogues and perceive us as a threat, and the Council will not just stand by and watch.”
Damien waved a dismissive hand. “Let them come.” By the time they know what has occurred, we will be too strong to challenge. The Silverwood Trees will give us the advantage we require. Furthermore, once Dimitri is dead, the rest of the packs will fall into place. “Fear is an effective motivator.”
As Damien’s remarks took hold, a tight quiet fell over the office. Alpha Damien had always been merciless in their quest for control, but this felt different. This seemed like the start of something darker and more terrifying.

Meanwhile, deep in the forest up the Northern region of the Werewolf Kingdom, Maksim stood on the side of a cliff, viewing the dark woodland below. His eyes glowed with the same need for power that drove Alpha Damien. However, unlike Damien, Maksim had no illusions about Alliance.
Damien was a fool, driven by his own desire. Varick has no interest in sharing power or land with the Twilight Fang Pack. Once the Bloodmoon Pack is destroyed, he is planning to turn on Damien and took over his Pack as well.
Beside him is his fellow rogue who stands as his second- in- Command, he is also a strong and vengeful Alpha rogue named Zane, he was exiled from his Pack years ago by the Werewolf Council for his tyrant ruling of his pack, with a sick smile on his face. “The Twilight Fang Alpha really thinks we’ll bow to him once this is over?” He said.
Maksim laughed grimly. “Let him think about what he wants.” After we’ve used him to defeat Dimitri, we’ll deal with him and his pack. “They’re nothing more than stepping stones.”
Zane nodded in agreement, his eyes full with hate. “The Bloodmoon Pack’s territory will be an ideal new home for us. “Once we have it, we can expand even further.”
Maksim smiled wider. “And once we’ve taken everything, no pack in the werewolf kingdom will be able to stand against us.”
Under Maksim’s guidance, the rogue army had grown in size and threat, and they were getting ready for the impending fight. The Bloodmoon Pack’s territory was rich in resources, and with the Twilight Fang Pack as a temporary friend, Varick felt they had an edge.
They now have a vicious sorcerer who provide them with Magic, Deadly poisons which they’ve been putting to test by launching some attacks on the Bloodmoon Pack, trying to infiltrate them and also learn their Strength and Weakness.
Maksim’s aspirations would not stop with the Bloodmoon Pack. He has his sights set on something much greater: sovereignty of the whole werewolf country. And he would not stop until every Alpha bowed to him.
“What do we do about the Werewolf hunter organization,” Zane inquired.
We can’t just hand over the Silverwood Trees to them, they will definitely want to get rid of us to.
We can’t trust them as well.
Maksim smiled, I am also thinking of how to deal with them after this is over, they can’t use me as they had used my Brother.
I will be drawing out another agreement plan with them on our next meeting, we need to be very careful, the humans especially the hunters can’t be trusted, they will definitely want to come after us after we get rid of the Werewolf Council.
But for now we need their resources,
“Dimitri and the Werewolf Council thought they have gotten rid of the entire hunters little did they know their is actually an hidden organization trying to take over the Silverwood Trees.” Maksim said
So from now on we should inform our Men to supply them more information about the hunter organization, so that if there is a hitch in the attack they will be busy going after the werewolf hunters, while we escape.
The Bloodmoon Pack are not relenting on their defense at all, we need to find a way to move in on them fast before the other packs recover to their full strength, and provide support, Zane said.
We can’t also afford to let, them find out our location before we launch our attacks on them, he added.
I will ensure Alpha Damien provide us with information we need on how to infiltrate the Bloodmoon Pack as he has promised, Maksim said.
“We need to gather more information before we can launch an attack,” Maksim said. This would save us a lot of stress and we can’t keep on sending our Men to attack them blindly, I can’t afford to make the same mistake my brother made, he added.
—
Damien returned to the Twilight Fang Pack, his eyes filled with purpose. He’d made his decision, and there was no turning back now. The rogues were on their only way, bringing with them the opportunity to reclaim the authority that had previously been taken from him.
Damien enjoyed a short moment of satisfaction as he prepare for the impending fight. Dimitri would fall, and with him, the Werewolf Council and their grip over the Silverwood Trees. The Twilight Fang Pack would soon gain supremacy, and he would eventually be recognized as the most powerful Alpha in the werewolf nation, he smiled as the thought play in his head.
Little did he know, the alliance he had formed with the rogues was nothing more than a ticking time bomb, ready to detonate in his face.
