The pack elders had assembled in the pack hall,
Dimitri had call on them for a deliberation on his decision to break an Alliance with the Twilight Fang Pack.
The Pack Warriors and Patrol Guard head were also on sit.
Everyone discuss amongst themselves.
Dimitri alongside Louis and Kate came in.
Good evening Alpha, everyone greeted with a slight nod.
Good evening Warriors and Elders of the Pack, Alpha Dimitri responded as he took his sit.
Kate sit down beside him
The hall went silent as everyone pays attention to Dimitri.
Dimitri cleared his throat breaking the silence,
After much thought on the Alliance with the Twilight Fang Pack.
I had decided to break Alliance with the Twilight Fang Pack, as I realised Alliance with them will not be beneficial to us in the future.
So I call on this meeting to hear the opinion you all might have on this matter, Dimitri said.
The Elders gaze at each other,
Do you mind sharing with us what reason you have for the breaking of Alliance, Elder Eli asked.
Well after the battle with the rogues, I found out that Alpha Damien knew he doesn’t have right to the Silverwood Trees but he want to take it by force from the Embermoon Pack using force.
He isn’t also putting his Pack interest at heart, he was only fighting over this for his personal gains.
I could remember before we signed an alliance with them, they were losing their Men and Pack members to a battle which shouldn’t have been taken place.
Yet he didn’t retreat,
He had given us the wrong information about the fight before the Alliance,
And I hadn’t take it upon myself to find out about what the Battle is for and who we are fighting against.
We would have lost majority of our men.
He had also launch an attack on the Embermoon Pack killing innocent lives.
With all this I don’t think we should have our Pack in Alliance with such Pack lead by a cruel selfish Alpha.
And also after the Werewolf council decision on taking over the Ancient Forest,
He had attacked me just right in front of everyone
He did what, Kate snarled.
Yes he attacked me, Dimitri reiterated.
This made me realise he has ulterior motives regarding the Silverwood Trees which I don’t want us to be part off, Dimitri landed.
I’ve always known that Alpha has an ulterior motive, Sir Cedric snapped.
So how do we go about it.
Are we to send our Men there to break of the alliance, Sir Leonard ask.
We will not be sending any of our Men,
Beta Louis will be sending a message out to them to announce our breaking of Alliance once we decide.
And we will also be sending a letter to Werewolf councils and all our Ally Packs to inform them we are not in alliance with the Twilight Fang Pack anymore, Dimitri said.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
And what if he tries to resist, Sir Lucas asked
We will be ready to face him, Dimitri replied.
How about if he demands to have his daughter back since we’re breaking the Alliance, Sir Leonard asked.
Everyone turned their attention towards Kate.
Can he give us back the Man we lost in battle, and the body parts our Men lost, Dimitri retorted.
And besides I am not here because of the Alliance exchange, I am only here because Dimitri is my Mate, and I am not going to reject my Mate because of my Father who doesn’t care about me nor anyone except his personal gain, Kate said.

So with that being said, Beta Louis will send out the messages immediately, Dimitri said.
And I want the guards at every area of the park to be doubled, Dimitri ordered facing the Guard Heads.
And then have all our Men ready I don’t want any surprises, He added.

At the Twilight Fang Pack,
The tension at the pack house could be felt by everyone at the Pack.
The Message on the Breaking of Alliance has reached the pack.
On getting the letter, Alpha Damien went crazy.
That damn cursed Lycan dares break an Alliance with me,
I will not accept this.
Not after giving him my only daughter.
Kayden, Luna Jane and Celine watch him as he rage.
You should calm down and let’s figure out a way to resolve this, Luna Jane said.
Figure out away, Alpha Damien said as he raises up his head.
If only you hadn’t suppress Kate’s wolf all this wouldn’t have happened. He lunged at Jane,
After the investigation he had instructed Kayden to carry, Kayden had found out truly Luna Jane had suppressed Kate’s wolf,
And she was able to carry out this under his nose with him finding out, because she was helped by some servants including the Head servant.
He ordered for the punishment of all the servant by throwing them into the dungeon
And he ensure they took all the blame and not speak of it to anyone and also didn’t punishment Luna Jane for her crime because he doesn’t want his reputation to be soiled.
And doesn’t want any rift between his pack and the Pack of Luna Jane as an Alliance with them is also important to him.
He paced angrily across his office, his eyes beaming red with anger.
He regretted not taking care of Kate as he had promised her mother.

and she would have been the one helping me in convincing that idiot whenever he is making decisions.

The door flung open, and the Elders matched in,
He hissed at the sight of them, he had always been sidelining the elders in his decision making, and in running the affairs of the pack.
The elders have raised up concerns on his decision- making but he would threaten to throw them in the dungeon if anyone dares to challenge him just like he had done for those who had challenged him in the past.
We heard that the Bloodmoon pack break an Alliance with us, one of the elders said.
We just here to imploy you not to challenge the Bloodmoon pack because our people haven’t recover from the loss we had during the battle, and challenging the Bloodmoon pack would only bring more loss to us.
I will do what is best for my pack, he retorted.
Well your decisions lately hasn’t been the one that is the best to the Pack, another Elder lashed out.
We had also heard news about Kate not being a weak wolf but her wolf had been suppressed here is our pack, he added.
Watching it old one, what you should be worried about right now is how will die peacefully and not how I run my Pack, he snapped.
Have you carried out my orders, he turned to Kayden who was starting watching as he and the Elders are exchanging words.
The Elders stormed out of his office angrily, they are helpless and were disappointed at what Alpha Damien has turned into all because of Greed and Power, his willingness to make his people suffer just because of his pride and arrogance baffles them.
Kayden took his leave, he also knew challenging the Bloodmoon Pack at the present state their pack is isn’t a wise thing to do but he has no choice than to carry out what Alpha Damien had ordered him to do.
A part of him is also excited as Alpha Damien had said he is taking back his daughter,
He had always want Kate back since he found out the truth about her wolf, and now he sees a chance to claim her as his wolf.
He had regretted not being vigilant enough to know this had happened to her,
And has hated that he refused to claim her because he doesn’t wanted to be mated to a weak wolf, even though he was her Fated mate by the Moon Goddess.
Now that he is married to Celine who has a stronger wolf, and who he had thought he loved, he regretted ever marrying her and loathe her and her Mother for everything they had done to Kate.
He has always been the one to take care of Kate whenever his wolf compelled him to, but his feeling for Celine and the acceptance he is seeking from Luna Jane had made him turn a blind eye most times.
And he sees an opportunity to claim Kate once she is back at their pack and reject Celine.
He entered his cabin, and craft out the messages and sent it out.

Back at the Bloodmoon Pack,
Dimitri sits in behind the huge desk crafted out of Oak tree in his office, in his hands is the letter from Twilight Fang Pack, he gave a wicked grin.
Louis who was sitting across him also joined in.
Just as predicted, Alpha Damien has sent a challenge and also include taking back his daughter,
I will be waiting for his challenge.
Kate had heard about the arrival of a letter from his Father’s Pack,
She came into his office, Dimitri handed over the letter to her, she glanced through and became anxious,
What do we do Dimitri, she asked anxiously.
We can’t have our Men go to battle at the moment, they are still recovering from the battle effect,
And also the pack members are just accepting me, I can’t have them blame me for the cause of another battle, she said.
You don’t have to worry about it, we will handle it, Louis said.
Perhaps I could send a message to him myself denouncing the relationship with the Twilight Fang Pack, afterall they had always made me suffer and treat me like an outcast, so I have every right to denounce them, Kate added.
That doesn’t seem to be a bad idea, Louis said looking at Dimitri.
And Dimitri gave Kate a slight nod to go ahead.
As Kate was about to step out of his office, the Elders came in they had also hear about the news,
We want to believe you have it under control, Sir Lucas said.
The leadership skills Dimitri have has always make him win any battle and made him earn respect amongst his Pack and his Ally Packs,
Even though they all know his weakness, the way he carries them along in his decision making and always resolve to making the right decision has made them over look his weakness and always feel safe with his decisions.
Just like I said earlier, I all want you to strengthen the guards at our border, if he is unable to penetrate into our pack, he is harmless to us.
I will also be joining the patrol guards at the Southern border, he said.
All the Elders feel relaxed and went back to their various Cabin.
At the Northern Border, Louis had joined the Patrol team,
Then they heard a rumble some distance away from the border, then a wolf appeared but as he jumped out of the forest, he met all the Guards standing waiting for him.
He got scared and turned on his heels and jumped back into the forest, Louis had some men chase him, but all of a sudden he disappeared,
Magic, he had magic.
Louis mind-linked Dimitri and relay what had just happened to him.
What could that be, Dimitri asked, Alpha Damien can’t launch an attack so soon.
I see another threat lurking, we should inform our ally packs immediately.
